The hotel was very nice, it was about a 10-15min walk to Beijing Road which was super convenient. Avoided the traffic of that area but it is still super accessible. Lots of restaurants nearby that are great. Also the coffee shop next door, AC coffee, is awesome, try their coconut latte.

Also, the staff was super nice and the breakfast was good. There are washing machines on-site and also some nice areas to relax in.

Location: Great location, just a minute's walk from the subway.
Cleanliness: Although it's an older hotel, it's very clean.
Environment: The breakfast attendant was exceptionally friendly. It's on a high floor and the soundproofing is good.
Service: The front desk service was excellent, and they even gave me a complimentary upgrade.

Hidden Gem Economy Hotel | Free Upgrade Was a Pleasant Surprise, Super Convenient for Travel!

I specifically chose this Yingshang Economy Hotel for my trip, and the overall stay far exceeded my expectations. The value for money was incredible, and I sincerely recommend it to anyone visiting the area for leisure or a short trip! I had pre-booked a basic twin room without a window, and I was prepared for a small room with average lighting. To my surprise, during check-in, the front desk staff were incredibly thoughtful and accommodating, proactively offering a free upgrade to a larger Yingshang twin room. This pleasant surprise instantly won me over, and my impression of the hotel shot up.

The upgraded room was spacious and open, with a well-organized layout, completely free from the cramped feeling I'd anticipated in the basic windowless room. The room was spotlessly clean and tidy; there was no dust or grime on the floor, surfaces, or in the bathroom. The bedding was pristine and soft, and the mattress offered just the right amount of firmness. After a full day of sightseeing, I could simply lie down and relax, ensuring a truly restful sleep.

Even though the room still lacked a window, the hotel's ventilation was excellent, with no stuffiness or odors inside. The air conditioning worked steadily, and the soundproofing was good too. The surroundings were quiet at night, so I wasn't disturbed by outside noise, making for a particularly peaceful rest. The bathroom featured a well-designed dry/wet separation, complete with all necessary toiletries. Hot water was plentiful and water pressure stable, making for a great showering experience that perfectly met my daily accommodation needs.

What I found most thoughtful and practical was the free washing machines and dryers available in the hotel's common area. When traveling, clothes need to be washed frequently, and having these laundry facilities meant I could wash dirty clothes and dry them immediately, saving both time and effort. No need for hand-washing or air-drying, and no heavy, dirty clothes to carry – this is truly a must-have for travelers, showing great consideration for guests and making travel much more hassle-free.

The hotel's location is its biggest selling point, making transportation and sightseeing incredibly convenient. It's very close to the subway station, just a few minutes' walk away. Taking the subway provides easy direct access to various popular tourist attractions, significantly reducing travel time and costs. Additionally, it's right next to major scenic spots, so you can visit them on foot or with a short ride, eliminating the hassle of long commutes and making your travel super efficient.

As an economy hotel, it doesn't offer breakfast, which I was aware of in advance and found completely acceptable. The area around the hotel is brimming with restaurants, shops, and local eateries. There are plenty of options for breakfast and other meals, allowing you to enjoy authentic local cuisine right outside the door without any impact on your dining routine, and even try local specialties.

From the service, room type, and facilities to the location, this hotel exceeded my expectations. The front desk handled check-in and check-out efficiently and quickly, and the staff were friendly and enthusiastic, patiently answering any questions. For an affordable, economy price, I enjoyed a free room upgrade, a spacious and comfortable room, practical laundry facilities, and an unbeatable location. Whether for sightseeing or a short trip, it's perfectly suited. My overall experience was excellent, and the next time I visit this area, I will definitely choose the Yingshang Hotel again. I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!

Right downstairs from the hotel, there's a Hakka restaurant. For breakfast, you can enjoy soup with rice noodles, giving off a wonderfully local vibe. Need to do laundry at night? There's a free self-service laundry room with dryers, so your clothes come out perfectly dry. The room has a new mattress, so I slept soundly, and the hot water was plentiful, making showers a breeze with no interruptions. The large TV screen was clear, perfect for catching up on shows without any issues. Want to go to Beijing Road or Canton Tower? It's just 5 metro stops directly there, and Dongshankou Station is right at the doorstep. When it rained and I didn't have an umbrella, the front desk lent me one and even reminded me to return it after the rain stopped. The service was consistently fast, accurate, and reliable. Next time I'm in Guangzhou, I'll definitely choose this place again! ✨🏨🧳☔️

The location is great, right next to Guangzhou Avenue. There are places to eat and drink not far downstairs, and it's about a 10-15 minute walk to the subway, or you can cycle there. Free parking is available, but if you stay over 12 hours, they charge 7 yuan per hour.

The front desk service could use some improvement. I had a 2 PM checkout and specifically asked them not to call so early, but they still called at 1 PM. That was a bit annoying; I've never experienced that at other hotels.

The room is very good, the experience is great, very clean and comfortable, the environment is also very good, come back next time! Xiaoding service is very good, very like it, other beautiful employees are also good, always able to meet my needs, good value for money! !

The hotel is very old, living on the second floor, the toilet bathroom is small, and there is a smell, there are mosquitoes in the room, the hotel is equipped with mosquito liquid. The room was poorly soundproofed. I slept at night. There was a car on the left side of the road. The corridor on the right was noisy at five o'clock in the morning. The tenants went to the sea noisyly. The footsteps were heard walking around at one or two o'clock in the evening. The only advantage is that it is close to the Dadong Sea, and it takes ten minutes to walk. Stayed for two nights during the Chinese New Year, 680 yuan a day. If it is weekdays, I will not live for 300 yuan.
