This place would have been a 10/10 for me if the bed had not been so hard. It was literally like sleeping on the ground. The location is in walking distance to MRT train station and there are restaurants everywhere around it. The rooms were compact but clean and recently renovated. It’s good, budget friendly accommodation but BYO mattress topper.

This hotel's location has a lot of Indian people, and for a first-timer, it didn't feel very safe. My friends studying in Singapore also said this area isn't the safest. The room was extremely small, comparable to Japan or Hong Kong, so be prepared for that. Location-wise, there's a bus stop nearby, about a 500-meter walk, which is convenient for getting anywhere. The subway, however, is quite a bit further, over a kilometer away, so if you're coming from the airport with elderly or young family members, it won't be very convenient. The only upsides are: 1) The front desk staff was quite polite. 2) I liked the large platform downstairs. 3) There's a durian night market nearby where you can get small durians for 5 SGD, and they taste slightly better than similarly priced durians from Malaysia. Overall, if the price is under 400 SGD per night next time, I might settle for it, but if it's more, I'd consider hotels in other locations.

This was our second booking after a week. We only found out on check out that we can go to 1 Singapore attraction for free.  The sink tap was loose, didn’t provide tooth brush set in the room, have to go counter and asked for it. Toilet circulation bad and smell.
Need to ask concierge for trolley to carry luggage from and to room.

1. Can early check in (3days in advance by online), and will send email on that day for your about the room number.
2. Reception is very helpful, the room initially ssigned to me not yet ready, the staff help to change the room immediately (room being upgrade from triple single beds to 1double 1 single) ❤️❤️❤️
3. Room not big, but is enough for my family with 2 kids
4. Room is clean, all facilities are workings in good condition
5. Location: just few minutes walking distance to Publix transport.
6. Downstairs also lot's of foodstall open even at midnight.

If you're looking for an overnight stopover and don't want to sleep on airport benches, this place is a good option. Location-wise, it's about a 20-minute Grab ride from the airport. It's a budget hotel, so don't expect any fancy services. The rooms are very simple and small, but they do the job for a short stay.
The main downside was the smell, as the air circulation isn't very good. I booked two rooms for myselt and my two children, and the staff kindly changed one of the rooms due to a bad odor. Overall, it's acceptable for a short overnight stay.

The hotel's location is excellent. It's a ten-minute walk to Clarke Quay and fifteen minutes to Chinatown. There's a large shopping mall directly across the street, and famous eateries like Song Fa Bak Kut Teh and Ya Kun Kaya Toast are nearby. However, the room is incredibly small, especially the bathroom. There's no shower curtain, and it's as basic as can be.

A Comfortable and Convenient Stopover in the Lion City: Ibis Budget Singapore Pearl Hotel Review

Finding a quality yet budget-friendly place to stay in Singapore, where space comes at a premium, can be a challenge. The Ibis Budget Singapore Pearl Hotel, however, was a delightful surprise that exceeded my expectations. It's perfectly suited for budget-conscious independent travelers or business professionals.

Excellent Location and Convenient Transportation

The hotel is situated in the vibrant Geylang district, an area where local culture intertwines with modern city life. Transportation is incredibly convenient; it's about a 10-15 minute walk to Aljunied MRT station, providing quick access to key attractions like Marina Bay and Orchard Road. Just outside the hotel, there are numerous bus stops with extensive routes. For food lovers, it's even more exciting, as the area is teeming with authentic local eateries, including the famous Ming Hui Frog Porridge and various 24-hour tea restaurants. No matter how late you return to the hotel, a delicious late-night meal is always within reach to comfort your soul.

Clean and Comfortable Living Environment

Despite being a budget hotel, the rooms, though compact, are well-equipped. The interiors maintain the consistent cleanliness standard of the Ibis brand, with crisp, dry linens and towels. The bed offers excellent support, ensuring a good night's sleep. Each room includes powerful air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, an electric kettle, and basic toiletries. The shower system is particularly noteworthy, with strong water pressure and stable hot water – a truly refreshing experience after a day of exploring humid Singapore.

Warm and Attentive Service Quality

The hotel's front desk service demonstrated a high level of professionalism. Check-in and check-out procedures were efficient and courteous. Staff members were always smiling and provided helpful travel advice. For early arrivals, the hotel offers complimentary luggage storage, which adds great flexibility to travel plans.

With its competitive pricing, excellent dining options, and professional service, the Ibis Budget Singapore Pearl Hotel served as a warm and reliable base during my trip to the Lion City. If you're looking to save on accommodation to better explore Singapore's food and sights, this place is highly recommended.

The reception counter Mr Jian Wei and his partner are very friendly. We are allowed to leave our luggage earlier before check in.  The free water refill service in the hotel is also good for us,  we can directly get the hot water from the water machine.

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the subway station, and within walking distance to many attractions. Don't expect too much else, though; for Singapore, this price point is actually quite good.

Staying in Singapore has certainly been an experience, and overall, it was quite… unique 😅

First, the pros:
1.  **Convenient Location**: It's about 900 meters from Harbourfront Vivocity, roughly a 10-minute walk.
2.  **Affordable Price**: At 625 RMB per night (weekend rate, slightly higher than weekdays) including tax, this is considered quite cheap in Singapore, where prices are sky-high 😅.
3.  **Cleanliness**: The room was very clean and well-maintained, as expected from a chain brand.

Now for the cons:
First, the room is tiny, definitely less than 13 square meters. The actual usable space, including the bathroom, is only about six or seven square meters.
Second, I honestly didn't understand what ”1 double bed measuring 1.31 meters” meant at first. After checking in, I realized that 1.31 meters was the total width of *two* beds! Divided by two, each bed was only 0.65 meters wide 😅. Honestly, this is the narrowest bed I've ever slept in 😅.

I didn't think much of it and just lay down, but in the middle of the night, I almost fell off the bed when I turned over. I had to get up and push the two beds together to be able to continue sleeping, albeit uncomfortably, due to the large, sunken gap in the middle. Also, I don't know who keeps them, but there are several chickens in the green belt outside, and they started crowing incessantly before 7 AM. It feels a bit out of place for a business hotel to have chickens outside, not quite fitting with Singapore's sophisticated, elite image, haha 😅.

Another experience related to ”cultural differences”: The hotel doesn't provide bottled water. There's a ”drinking water” sign on the bathroom faucet, but I didn't dare drink it, haha 😅. Luckily, I brought two bottles of water myself (500ml + 600ml), which I managed to make do with for a day and a half. Plus, there was a 600ml bottle of mineral water on the Aeroline bus on the way back the next evening. This saved me money on buying water in Singapore (not including a coconut shake and a durian cendol I bought the next day).

Singapore is really hot and humid. The sun is scorching during the day, and walking outside feels like being roasted alive 😅. Restaurants and food courts don't provide free hot or cold water. Water might indeed be a scarce resource here, which I can rationally understand 😅.

This is a very new hotel with excellent facilities and friendly, smiling staff. It's also super affordable, offering great value for money, especially for a budget hotel. While the rooms are compact, the space is incredibly well-designed and utilized. I tried a snack from the vending machine which was delicious, if a little salty. You can purchase a liter of water from the restaurant for 6 Euros. Do remember to bring your own toiletries, as Europe is quite committed to environmental protection these days. The airport shuttle service is very convenient, costing 5 Euros per person per trip.

Ibis is known for its budget hotels; the service and environment are good, but the facilities are slightly lacking. The hotel is close to a subway station, making it convenient for getting around. I would consider staying here again if I have the chance to visit Madrid.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, with Metro Line 3 right at its doorstep. A large supermarket is conveniently located downstairs, and small shops nearby offer cheap fruit. Atocha train station, Madrid's busiest, is only a 10-15 minute walk away. The hotel itself is relatively new, though the beds are a bit narrow and the bathroom felt slightly cramped. The Western-style breakfast includes fruit, coffee, and yogurt, but no vegetables. Overall, it's a decent option, especially considering hotels in Madrid tend to be quite expensive.

Good, close to the subway station, convenient transportation to downtown attractions. The surrounding area is like a factory area, with few people, but quite quiet.

A Pleasant Stay with Warm Hospitality

It’s always a pleasant stay at this hotel. Although it's a budget hotel, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I especially want to highlight the young lady who assisted me during check-in—she was so kind and welcoming. She provided me with all the necessary information about breakfast locations, nearby laundry services, and more. That was very helpful and much appreciated.

The hotel's location is also very strategic. There are plenty of eateries nearby, and it’s close to both the bus and train stations. The room itself was simple but clean. Everyone at the hotel is polite and friendly, which made my stay even more enjoyable.

If I could suggest a few areas for improvement, they would be:

1. Provide a kettle in the room – Hot water for drinking is important for me, and having a kettle would be very convenient.

2. Install proper blackout curtains – This would help guests sleep better by blocking out excess light.

3. Offer laundry services – Having an in-house laundry option would be useful, especially for longer stays.

Other than these suggestions, everything else was perfect. Overall, I’m very satisfied with my stay and truly appreciate the warm hospitality shown by all the staff. Thank you!

This hotel saved us because our previous hotel booking was unceremoniously cancelled. Anyway, while this hotel is not in the city center, still, it was near a big market, fast food chains, and more importantly, near a train station. Btw, we didn’t like the layout of its CR/restroom. If you’re a couple, then you may not find it odd. But since we were business travellers, it was a bit difficult to use. But overall, we liked staying here! The beds are comfy and the staff are nice and accommodating.

The room was too small, the water pressure was low, and the shower wasn't very pleasant. The room also didn't provide drinking water, slippers, or disposable toiletries. However, the location was excellent, very close to Paulista Boulevard.

The room is very cramped, but the facilities are complete. There is no bath gel or shampoo, so you need to prepare it yourself. The bath and toilet are separated. The hot water is good, but there is no handrail in the bathroom, and the floor is slippery. I don't recommend it for the elderly. The narrow bed is enough. The external environment is relatively good, with many restaurants, supermarkets, and bars around. There are not many homeless people, so it is relatively safe. There is a rich morning and the service staff is also very good.

The hotel is well located, clean clothes, service grade 10, the price is compatible. It should have a better price for network customers.
The shower could be installed on top and not on the side.

O hotel está em reforma, muito barulho, sujeira na entrada, de obras, deixando a desejar.
Para nos comunicarmos com a recepção, o telefone fica no corredor e deveria ter nos quartos, achei o hotel muito caro, esperava que fosse bem melhor, o estacionamento tem que pagar a parte. Custo benefício bem abaixo do que esperávamos.
