This hotel is conveniently located near Metro Line 1, and within walking distance of Huaqiang South and Huaqiang North. There's a shopping mall nearby, making it super easy to find food, entertainment, and transportation. Occasionally, I could hear some noise from the hallway or next door, but it was all within normal living sounds and completely acceptable. The lady at the front desk was incredibly nice and allowed me to check in early and even upgraded my room. When I mistakenly used the power-on card as my room key and couldn't get into the elevator or my room, a staff member immediately dropped what he was doing to help me open the door. Overall, I felt that the hotel's humanistic approach and work philosophy are very well managed! Thumbs up!!

My stay was great! The front desk staff were really warm and attentive. When I arrived, they proactively helped me with my luggage, which was a nice touch. Sylvia from Guest Relations even sent up two bottles of water and mosquito repellent while we were out – super quick response time. The room facilities are quite new; I heard it was renovated in 2021, and all the appliances are brand new. The TV is a large Huawei screen with clear picture quality, and the smart room control system is easy to use; you can control the lights and curtains just with your voice. The bathroom has a smart toilet with a heated seat, which is very comfortable, especially in winter. There are charging cables built into the bedside table and USB ports in the sofa area, making it very convenient to charge devices. Overall, the amenities are comprehensive, making for a very hassle-free stay.

This was my first time to stay the hotel and with a good experience and family trip as the location of hotel is very convenient for shopping and lot of restaurants nearby 👍🏻

The room was clean and hygienic, and the front desk staff, Leo and Bill, were incredibly warm and polite, making me feel very welcome. I also have to commend the hotel staff – I accidentally left my bag on a chair at breakfast and completely forgot about it. The hotel staff diligently checked the surveillance footage for a long time, found me, and contacted me immediately, even before I realized I had left my bag in the restaurant. Their responsible and dedicated attitude truly touched me. If I wasn't rushing to catch a flight, I would definitely have personally praised their staff to the hotel management. This hotel offers first-class service, and the rooms are well-equipped with all the necessary facilities. The environment is also good, and its proximity to the subway station is very convenient. Plus, there's a free laundry room, and food deliveries are brought by robots. It's also very close to Window of the World, making travel easy. I'll definitely come back next time!

Great stay but their floor 8 executive lounge was closed. I got coupons for a single beer per night for happy hour. The buffet was much better during the week compared to the weekend. The rainbow mall with a grocery store and dozens of food options is an easy walk; about a 10-15 minutes. Floor 10 view was nice, overlooking trees and calmer area of SZ. Very comfortable and spacious room. Gym is good and has free weights, machines and several treadmills. The concierge was good and arranged a taxi for me a couple times. Will stay again.

I stayed at Grand Skylight Haoyue Hotel for three days during the Gaokao (National College Entrance Examination) period. Throughout my stay, I was deeply impressed by the hotel's thoughtful consideration for the students taking the exam! From the encouraging pins gifted upon check-in and the motivational posters in the elevator corridors, to the light, nutritious, and varied breakfast options – every detail showed their care. Highly commendable! 👍🏻

The location is convenient, and the service was excellent.

Suggestions: The design of the sink faucet could be improved, as water consistently splashes onto clothes when washing hands. Also, the Wi-Fi signal was very weak, almost non-existent.

Great hotel with dedicated staff. At the reception Jin Wang and Wu Shuang, were very professional and very knowledgeable. They made us feel special from the first moment. They gave us a great room with an amazing lake view and complimentary afternoon tea coupons. The room is very large, the bed is very comfortable. The hotel has an excellent architecture it's modern but maintains the Chinese elements. The buffet dinner was excellent with a wide selection of very delicious dishes and desserts. Our overall experience was excellent and we will definitely come back. Thank to it's dedicated staff like Jin Wang and Wu Shuang, 赖加春 who made this stay even more unforgettable. The breakfast is also rich with nice baked goods like croissant, chocolate bread, danish pastries and so on. Cheese selection is also great. We enjoyed the indoor pool as well. Congratulations and thank you indeed.

The environment is clean and sanitary. It is very comfortable as soon as you enter the room. The details of hygiene are also very good. The cost performance is very high. I didn't expect the breakfast to be very rich and I was very full. I bothered the front desk service many times and the attitude was still very good!

I often pass by and see this iconic building in Yizhuang, and it really leaves a lasting impression. As a hotel, its exterior looks decent. During the Chinese New Year, the prices weren't overly inflated, so I opted for a deluxe king room. It looked exactly like the official pictures.  However, I was quite surprised by a few things:

1. The hotel doesn't provide skincare products. There were no shower caps, hair ties, or combs. Toothbrushes had to be picked up at the front desk in the lobby.
2. Regarding room cleaning, I tried to use the humidifier, and when I opened it, it was full of limescale. The cleaning here is simply too sloppy.
3. There was even a hole in the bedsheet, but I was too lazy to ask them to change it. This kind of mistake is just too basic.

The decor is retro, perhaps a bit too staid. For conferences or wedding banquets, this place could be a good option and offers decent value for money. But if you're hosting important guests, it really wouldn't cut it.

Location - real close to the Stadium; Security - nice lock system; Receptionists - all nice, especially ”Wang, Fu Qiang” 王富强 （服务非常优秀，方案彻底又有效率） very attentive, professional and efficient - helped me to get takeout order as lunch after unavailability of room service of beef noodles; deduct one star for the breakfast buffet - bus boys clear tables fast, yet the waitress/waiter not friendly as to my inquires, e.g. unavailability of coffee spoon, absence of regular size coffee cup/mug, absence of breakfast tea bags, and unsolicited table sharing. The breakfast buffet is a convenient option for travellers, not a sampler representing local cuisine. The hotel use a cute robot to deliver items to the suite on demand - that was entertaining. The coffee and tea shop at the lobby is a bit pricy if you are only looking for non-branded beverage. View - I stayed at high floor and could see the entrance of the ”Nest” the stadium plus a corner of the famous Concrete Nest structure - very charming in the evening. The hotel is nice for travellers who can handle a bit of mandarin.

The hotel's location is good, with convenient transportation. It's close to a subway station, about a ten-minute walk away, and calling a ride-sharing service is quick, making travel easy.

The front desk service was warm and thoughtful. As a member, I received a complimentary room upgrade and two days of free breakfast. I particularly enjoyed the freshly made almond tea, and the breakfast selection on the second day was abundant. There's free tea at the front desk, and fruit is available for free based on membership tier. The room provides 4 bottles of water daily and local specialty snacks, a nice touch.

I stayed in an Executive Twin Room. The beds weren't huge but were very comfortable. The bathroom had a separate shower and bathtub, with ample space. The elevator requires key card access, ensuring guest safety.

The hotel's exterior is currently undergoing renovation, and the facilities show a bit of age, but considering the price and service, the value for money is outstanding, and it's definitely worth staying here.

First time staying here. The room is quiet, clean and spacious. Xiao Zhang at the front desk is very enthusiastic and the service is very thoughtful! The experience is good and recommended. The environment is super good and parking is very convenient. The hotel price is super affordable. Next time, my first choice hotel is still here. It's really a treasure.

Check-in: Worried about too many people checking in on New Year's Eve, I deliberately booked an extra night to arrive a day early. The rooms initially assigned didn't have great views, and although we booked four rooms with consecutive numbers, they weren't next to each other. The front desk staff, particularly Xiao Huang, was very enthusiastic and specifically took us upstairs to view the rooms. The manager was kind enough to arrange four rooms with excellent views that were all adjacent, allowing us to combine tables for our New Year's Eve dinner.

Service: Xiao Huang and Xiao Gu were very welcoming and accommodating, doing their best to fulfill any requests. Our interactions with them felt very friendly. The male manager was also very nice. The housekeeping staff was excellent; the aunties managed to clean all four rooms thoroughly every day while we were at breakfast, and they were also very polite.

Stay Experience: On the 'Xiao Nian Ye' (Minor New Year's Eve), they offered a complimentary late-night porridge (Eight Treasure Porridge) served in small insulated containers. Drinking it before bed warmed us right up. The only slight downside this time was the breakfast experience. Because there were so many guests, the hotel thoughtfully extended breakfast service until 12 PM, but during peak hours, the dining experience was still a little lacking.

Overall, the stay experience was very good. There's plenty to explore nearby (Panlong Ancient Town, Qingpu Outlets, Panlong Tiandi), and the hotel even has robots that deliver takeout orders to the rooms. We originally booked four rooms for four nights, but because of the great experience, and how clean the rooms were (plus having a washing machine and a fridge), we extended our stay for another three nights! 😂😂😂

I've stayed at several Grand Skylight hotels in Shenzhen before. When I came to Shanghai for a business trip, I searched for one and found this one after landing at Hongqiao Airport. The location was great, so I booked it immediately. The front desk staff was very helpful; they reminded me about the air conditioning settings, offered a wake-up call, explained how to use the hairdryer, and even told me how long it would take to get to the train station or airport, advising me to manage my time accordingly. Iris at the front desk had an excellent service attitude and was very service-minded. Thumbs up to this young lady! I highly recommend this hotel.
