It is more convenient to come from the West Railway Station. Take a taxi to the Chongqing Industrial Museum. It is not too far from here. The transportation is convenient but not congested. The price/performance ratio is relatively high.

The hotel is located 15mins by car from the Yantai airport. They offer a free airport shuttle service which is super convenient. 
The hotel is new, the room interior is nice and modern, the staff are friendly, there's a small supermarket in the lobby.

This time I brought my parents to Xi'an to travel, at Xi'an City Garden Hotel (Xi'an Bell and Drum Tower North Street Subway Station)
 
The location of the hotel is excellent, less than 100 meters from the subway station, and it is particularly convenient to travel. We easily took the subway to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Datang Everbright City and Bell Tower. There are also many foods around, and the parents have a great time.
