Bed and Breakfasts in Catania

I stayed in a double room for one person, haha. They don't have single rooms, but the price was still very reasonable. Compared to other hotels I've stayed in in Sicily, this B&B is quite spacious, and the room smells quite nice, apparently with some aromatherapy. Overall, I could tell the owner takes great care of it, and their mattress was the most comfortable I've had on my Sicilian trip. The location is relatively close to the city center, about a 5-minute walk to various attractions. The area is quiet at night, and the other guests I met weren't noisy at night. I also met other residents in the same building, and they were very friendly. There are restaurants with high Google Maps ratings and delicious gelato within a 5-minute walk. The owner was very warm and friendly. Upon check-in, he gave me a brief guide to the attractions and a tour of the room. I bought a baking box nearby and was worried it might get spoiled in the summer, so I contacted the owner via WhatsApp if he could borrow their refrigerator. He readily agreed and even let me keep the box in the refrigerator after I checked out. The breakfast was very homely. Although it was the simplest breakfast on this trip, I could tell the owner had put in a lot of effort.

This is hands down the most perfect B&B experience I have ever had. If I ran a B&B, this is exactly what I would copy! It is a seamless experience, highly professional, but yet still friendly and warm and kind. The room is spotless and every last detail thought of. I cannot recommend this property more highly. I would go back to Catania just to spend longer here!

The house and its location was great. Walking distance to major hubs which made it convenient to go to other cities. Our host Igor was a great personality. During our 6 nights of stay he was very responsive to all our needs. All his suggestion of restaurants and places were top notch. We look forward to revisiting B&B Marcello’s casa to complete our Sicily tour.

La Cot is an absolutely amazing place to stay in Catania. It’s cozy, homely, peaceful, and unique. Ninni is the most wonderful host, we were so happy to meet him and stay in his hospitality. We will definitely stay there again if we go to Catania!

Perfect location as we could walk to many attractions nearby! The lady and her mother who owns the B&B speak fluent English and was able to assist us with transport areangement, dietary preferences for breakfast and great suggestions on how to spend the day at Catania! The breakfast overlooks a lovely garden and rooms were big, comfortable and super spacious. A memorable stay indeed!

SPLENDIDO , COLAZIONE ABBONDANTE E BUONA , TITOLARI ACCOGLIENTI E SEMPLICEMENTE MERAVIGLIOSI , MIA FIGLIA SI E SENTITA MALE DI DOMENICA SI SONO OFFERTI DI ANDARE A CERCARE LA FARMACIA DI TURNO (per fortuna risolta senza medicinali ma questo la dice lunga su queste splendide persone ).

Papali was on the first floor of a very old building, so expect to walk up a few steps with your luggage, because there's no elevator ... But, the Signore who welcomed us was very friendly and even went downstairs - while I already could go into our room - to help my husband find a parking spot on the street nearby. We had a very good night in a simple, but super clean and quite big room, comfy bed as well ... Bathroom was nice and clean with plenty of towels ... The first picture I took in the morning after our night at Papali out from the balcony, the second was taken in the morning when we had our breakfast served kindly in the little dining area ... Btw, Papali is located wonderfully - it's an easy walk to all the main sightseeing spots of Catania! I added some pictures of our evening walk ... Summary: Papali is a great choice locationwise and if you do not want to spend too much, but still want to have a cozy night at a simple but friendly and nice place.

Very good experience with b&b miro, clean room with big and comfortable bed and nice Italian breakfast. Our room had a balcony and air-conditioning too - recommend it! They even gave us a map with recommended visiting locations and landmarks - very nice staff

Отель расположен близко к центру. Номер большой, лепнина на потолке прекрасна. Красивый и чистый холл. В номере имеется чайник и холодильник. Хозяин был очень мил и учтив, разрешил оставить багаж на хранение до вечера

The building’s exterior is rustic and shows its age, but the room inside was clean, bright, and pleasantly modern. High ceilings, ample natural light, and comfortable furnishings made the stay enjoyable. The room was well-equipped with air conditioning, a mini-fridge, and a small workspace. Overall, a comfortable and updated interior within a historic building. Guests who value interior comfort and don’t mind an older façade.
