Beach Hotels in Clearwater

This place is a hidden gem. It is very tastefully and newly renovated, very clean, and I can’t say enough about how kind and accommodating all of the staff was. It’s just a few blocks from the beach, with many restaurants in walking distance. 5 stars! Highly recommended and would definitely stay there again. Thank you for making our trip so wonderful!

Not often you find a little gem like Barefoot Bay. The resort was in a great location next to the marina, beach and restaurants. The hosts were lovely and super efficient providing a great service and local knowledge of where to eat and visit. The rooms were spotlessly clean with a good selection of free coffees and teas, with a microwave and toaster. We would definitely stay here again. Many thanks to Stacey and the staff for making our stay a pleasure.

The hotel is more than ten minutes' drive from Tampa beach, not very far. The lady at the front desk is super friendly, and the room is relatively big. Although it looks like it took a long time to decorate, it is very clean. There is an oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, etc. in the room, which is very convenient if needed. The hotel also provides free parking, which is quite cost-effective.

The hotel is really very very beautiful, clean and comfortable. Because the hurricane had just passed when we went there, we were not allowed to go to the swimming pool and the beach, but the hotel upgraded us for free. I forgot whether it was the 7th or 9th floor. Anyway, this is the only hotel where I can see the sunrise in the east and the sunset in the west from the room. The service attitude of the waiter is also super good. The only thing I am not satisfied with is that I didn’t know that I would be charged for Internet access in advance, and finally I was charged 7.89 US dollars for Internet access. I had dinner at the hotel, and it tasted very good.

It was a first time stay at a Fairfield Inn and it will not be our last. We gratefully appreciated the early check-in, as we seniors drove over 3 1/2 hours. The location is excellent and the Inn easy to find, along with the parking. The hotel lobby, elevators, and rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable. We were given a nice, quiet room, too. We did not use the swimming pool, but it looked from afar. We also did not stay for the continental breakfast, as we met family at a close restaurant. The room was equipped with a small coffee maker and a refrigerator, which made out stay more comfortable. The hotel staff was accommodating in moving us to a new room in a quiet area and very pleasant.

When I booked Pelican Pointe hotel, I knew it was an older property so I wasn't expecting anything grand, plus the price was super affordable! When we first arrived, the room was very spacious for my family of 5. It was like a semi suite, kitchen was separated from the beds but not closed off. It had 2 doubles and a futon fold out in the kitchen/dining area. It was clean but had a funky smell, having a small well stocked kitchen with fridge and microwave was useful. At first glance it was nice, the location is amazing, right across the street from Clearwater Beach and complimentary parking which is a bonus (I hate having to pay extra for parking, so that was really great considering the price). I thought we really scored with this find, until.....my son saw a gigantic bug in the bathroom, it turned out to be a cockroach!!! EEEEWWWWW!!!! Throughout our stay we saw a few more big roaches and a ton of baby roaches everywhere. We were scared to turn off the lights because as soon as you did, the roaches came out to play, really gross and a major turn-off!!!! We slept with the lights on needless to say. We didn't bother to say anything because if there are roaches in this room, chances are the entire hotel has it! If it wasn't for the roaches, I would definitely recommend this hotel but I would never go back after seeing those nasty bugs. The hotel needs to fumigate and get rid of those roaches!!!!

Used in early November. It seems that there are few hotels that come close to the value for money. The water view is toward the sea, so you can see it well, but this hotel itself is not located right in front of the sea, but across the street, so the view of the hotel in front is a little far away. We have children, so we rented a room with two queen beds, but there was a room on the 10th floor. The rooftop bar is also on the 10th floor, so it's a small pleasure to have a light drink and come straight to your room to rest. A large 24-hour Walgreens is nearby. There is also a microwave in the accommodation, so you can cook your own convenience food. The swimming pool on the 1st floor is small, but it's a heated pool, so it's good to relax. However, since the water is deep, it can be a little dangerous for small children to play.

Nice hotel, but rather noisy, which is a shame. Since many companies hold their events here, it's very loud. It's very loud in the hallways before 7:00 in the morning, but it could be remedied with a few reminders: please be quiet, someone might still be sleeping. It's very noisy.

Holiday Inn has definitely upgraded their properties since the last time I stayed with them years ago! The suite was clean and spacious. The breakfast was the run-of-the-mill options with a few hot foods. I especially enjoyed the Dove products that are present in the bathroom and shower.

The Clearwater Beach Hotel is a quaint hotel 1 block away from the velvety sandy Beach on the Gulf of Mexico. There are numerous places to eat and an hand dipped ice cream shop right across from the hotel! Our room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and the front desk staff was extremely friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel. We will definitely be staying there again!
