Beach Hotels in Cozumel

Gem of a place just 2 streets from the ferry terminals yet calm and safe. Comfortable stay where you had almost everything you needed, with even the possibility to cook or bbq (in the outdoor common area) if you so wish. Very friendly and helpful staff with special thanks to the manager David. I only wished the aircon was quieter and the water in the pool warmer. All in all I had a great 7 nights there!

Had a great time at this hotel Location is a five minute walk from ferry pier. View is amazing from our ocean view room upgrade well worth the money for sure watching the cruise ships dock right in front of us was really cool. Free breakfast buffet was excellent in mornings. Nice chairs around small splash pool were nice also little bar there at pool area. Spent the day there one day watching all the action in the ocean in front of us. All the employees were very nice and helpful. The price was good for the location of this hotel. We really like all the elevators in building . Also has a 7-11 store located under hotel open 24/7 so handy. Would highly recommend this small hotel looking forward to staying there next time

Meliá Cozumel is an all-inclusive resort, but our 2-night/3-day stay was a major letdown for a renowned chain. Surprise: there are two tiers—basic (what I booked) and “Level” (the upgrade we weren’t offered or able to choose). Big red flag on transparency. Basic all-inclusive perks fell flat: • Plastic-bottle booze only (e.g., Bacardi rum—a supermarket staple at $10/1.5L—was reserved for Level guests). • Sunbeds were scarce; we asked staff and were told to wait for vacancies—never got one. • Breakfast/lunch buffets: identical for all, very basic with limited options geared toward foreigners (zero local flavors to excite). • Dinner was the worst: pushed to a mediocre buffet with nothing standout. A la carte spots required advance booking, which were “fully booked” on arrival—no spots for our entire stay despite the price. They squeezed us into their tacos spot once—average at best, outshone by nearby eateries. We ended up bringing our own drinks (plastic bottles didn’t cut it) and eating out for 2 meals. For this cost, it’s a huge disappointment—felt nickel-and-dimed in an “all-inclusive.”

I love green and nature and my husband loves the beach. This resort is the perfect balance so we both could have what we wanted. The paths from the room to the beach were beautiful with greenery all around. The beach itself was amazing. The food at the buffet was alright and when we did the reserved dinners at the restaurants the food was amazing. When we went to the seafood restaurant the chef prepared the ”Four Fish” dish and it was the best Mahi Mahi I have ever had. We will definitely be going back to this resort.

Don’t expect too much of the hotels and hardware facilities on the Caribbean islands. Where the hardware is not strong, you can use cheap and beautiful scenery to make up for it. The location of this hotel is very good, the price is less than RMB 400 per night, such a convenient location and beach sea view, there is no reason to complain. If you want to be luxurious, you are willing to spend $300 a night before you talk, otherwise don't ask for this request! 🍃Environment: 🚗 Transportation:

In general, a very quiet Hotel, without animation, if you want total relaxation, it is the right one, the rooms are very good, I was on the 8th floor and had a beautiful view, the service in general was good, just a little slow compared to the Service on the beach and pool, and in the restaurants, very good breakfasts, with respect to the food of the lunches and dinners, regular quality in the finish of the dishes, and if the service is a bit slow, the facilities are very nice and the best thing is that the beach they have is spectacular and excellent for snorkeling and enjoying all the fish what is there, very beautiful, and on quieter nights, if you like more fun because leaving the hotel 10 minutes and you will be in the Center, but in general, quite well and good for the cost, since you don't ask for more 👍🏼 to keep fighting to be better.
