"The staff and location really elevate what’s a tired, dated, basic hotel with some pokey rooms and absolutely zero soundproofing so you hear every door, floorboard creak and seagull squawk. We only ate breakfast here but it was great quality. The place could do with a refurb and the old carpets don’t help give an impression of cleanliness. It could do with a facelift overall."

The room design is very special and the accommodation is very comfortable. The attic room is hot during the day when it is sunny. The hotel does not include breakfast, but there is a restaurant downstairs, which tastes very good. There are some specialty shops near the hotel, which are worth visiting. Most of Penzance's accommodations are on the hillside, not far from the hotel from the train station, but it is tiring to climb the slope with luggage. To all major attractions is to take a car from the railway station. There are several Chinese restaurants on the market steet, which taste pretty good.

What a great place to stay. Warm welcome, great rooms and enhanced by listening to the fantastic Mousehole Mens Choir who practice in Paul Church every Monday and then continue in the pub. Slept like babies and then were greeted by the most cheerful and welcoming Mia who brightened our day and served us a wonderful breakfast. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Not bad, the small hotel is run by the second man. The service that should be available also provides breakfast, so it is cost-effective. It is convenient to go anywhere near the station. The disadvantage is that the room is small but it is enough.

It is very far from the penzance town, take more than 30mins walk and uphill. Staff is nice, hotel is clean.
