"At the outset I have to say that the hotel staff were helpful and friendly. However the ”hotel” and I use the word loosely is very poor. It is extremely tired in every aspect and is in great need of a complete makeover. I believed this is planned for this Winter. The carpets are worn and damaged throughout. The lift was not working and if like us you were on the top floor and had a heavy case this was a safety hazard. Although the sheets had been cleaned you could still see evidence of mildew. The breakfast was open from 7am and we visited at 9 am. The breakfast was very dried up when we sampled it.
On the plus side the room had a great sea view. Needless to say we will not be visiting again."
