Beach Hotels in Upper Normandy

The hotel was very comfortable and the staff were very friendly and the room was clean and spacious. We have enjoyed the rooftop above the hotel. The location is slightly far from the city centre but the possibility of walking. The quality/price ratio is excellent. If we are going through the city again, we will take a reservation in this hotel.

The best most accommodating staff ever, astoundingly affordable for the quality provided. Excellent cleaning services, inclusion of private bathroom and kitchenette. Only problem is wifi doesn’t really work on the first level but honestly everything else is wonderful.

The stay experience was superb, the hotel was in a great location, very close to the business district/scenic area/subway station, and it was super worry-free on foot. The room is spacious, the lighting and ventilation are very good, the hygiene is particularly in place, the corners are spotless, the bedding is soft and skin-friendly, and the quality of toiletries is online. The staff is attentive and thoughtful, the check-in and check-out speed is fast, the demand response is timely, the hotel's breakfast is rich in variety and tastes good. The overall experience is full, I highly recommend it to everyone!

Here's a unique hotel - housed in a old mansion from the 1900s. This means that each room in the original wing is a little different and 'eclectic'. There's also a new wing with newer rooms, a spa, a swimming pool (sorta heated), a bistro and a 1 Michelin star restaurant. Pros: - Unique style of hotel that's set away from the hustle/bustle of the Etritat town. - Helpful staff - Complimentary bakes and hot drinks from 4-6pm - Michelin-star restaurant on site (but it was closed during our visit) - Comfortable beds, good water pressure and a bathtub - Professional grade Nespresso machine in-room with 4 pods (2x decaf) + nice tea bags - Grounds are cute, with a resident cat, fireplace and pleasant garden-ish spaces. Cons: - Cleanliness - we discovered a swarm of ants crawling behind the curtain. We think it was some food that wasn't cleaned away from the previous guest that attracted the ants. This was gross. - Room styling may not be to everyone's tastes - suggest you ask to view a room before you move your luggage in. - Narrow stairs to rooms in main building, was abit hard to get luggage up to but they can get help if needed. - Location could be a con for some as it's a good 10-12 min walk into the main down down a high. - Parking spaces were limited. - Breakfast is pricey at 25 euro - there's a great boulangerie in town Maison Piquenot that you can get good croissants, baguettes from. - Overall abit pricey for the value you get.

The location in city center is a nice location and convenient if you want to walk. The pool and spa facilities were very nice and the pool is warmed. The rooms are starting to show wear and tear, carpet, the shower handles. The bed needed a little more of a topper to make it a little more comfortable. A more ni fridge would be nice in the room so you can have cold drinks. The people were nice, the facility was clean with a good location. It worth staying.

This is the second time I come here, and everything works perfectly, quiet rooms, very good littery, spacious bathroom with a good flow of water, pleasant calm of the reception. The service to be able to leave his luggage a few hours more after checkout is very useful, as well as the toilets next to the reception when you don't have the room anymore. The location is really top, we are also in the sidelines, and I recommend a Chinese fresh pasta restaurant Li Mian, next to the courtyard. Quality-price ratio and quality customer, with very good staff, it is ideal

We stayed for two nights at this decent, older hotel. There's no elevator, which is a drawback, but most people don't bring huge suitcases to Étretat anyway. The room was a bit dated, and I'd rate the cleanliness a 3 out of 5. However, it was perfectly comfortable for sleeping and staying, as we spent most of our time out exploring. The best part is the location – just a 5-minute walk to the beach, with all the popular spots easily accessible on foot to the left or right. They don't speak English (as stated in the hotel information), though one woman understood us more or less and could communicate. The staff were friendly. Soundproofing isn't great, but it didn't bother us much. In the bathroom, they provide soap and shower gel, and there's a heated towel rail. The room has a TV, a soft bed, and hangers. There's no fridge or hairdryer. It's a bit cramped, but perfectly comfortable for two people. The outlets are a bit flimsy, and anything plugged in tends to slip out with sudden movements. Overall, it's a perfectly fine hotel for a short stay and for exploring all the sights!

The main building of the property is beautiful but has a tight parking space, which… needs to be booked ahead.. and we didn’t know . Anyway, also be aware that there are 3 buildings within the property, 1min walk to each other, and in winter at the dark of the evening, it is not really convenient to go from one place to another one. Anyway. Fact is that the 2 buildings we were presented are beautiful, fully renovated, warm and nicely decorated. Well done. Breakfast was also very good; I just think that the breakfast timing mngt of the various bedrooms run off… as people were queuing up, waiting for tables. My advice: wake up early, go breakfast early! ;-) Again very nice mansion and service.

Далековато от центра, и рядом такая глушь ) прибыла в Рождество, и спасибо сотрудникам или гостям, которые помогли получить код для электронного замка. Номер хороший, тихий. Большая кровать, проблем с водой тоже не было. До станции жд 40 минут пешком. В минутах 20 есть торговый центр с Ашаном. Не хватает чайника в номере, это было бы прям плюсом его добавить. А так бюджетный хороший вариант.

Pros: The staff is very nice and welcoming. We had a room on the first floor, which was very convenient since the hotel does not have an elevator. However, if you are traveling only with backpacks, this should not be a problem. Although the hotel is relatively inexpensive, it is very cozy and comfortable. We stayed in a room with three beds: one large bed and two smaller beds, as well as a spacious bathroom. Just be aware that the hotel does not provide slippers, but you can ask for water bottle. Cons: The towels could be cleaned better, as they already look quite gray and worn. And on the second day, the housekeeping staff only brought fresh towels and did not make the beds.
