"The apartment was located around 15-20 mins walk from the transit centre, but very close to cataract gorge. The accommodation was spacious for 3 adults and well-equipped. Some of the amenities were a little old and dated (e.g the sofa and the ventilator in the toilet), but all were in good working condition."

Guest UserHotel has a good scenery located at the country side. Recommend to have a morning walk at hotel with the twilight can refresh your mind. I saw chicken and possum during the morning walk. The buffet breakfast was highly recommended. They also have a ****** at hotel where you could stay the whole night with your luck !

The beds were very nice and comfortable. Bathroom was large and very clean.

Guest UserThe hotel is very clean, but it is not close to the high-speed bus station. The seaside port center is not recommended if it is public transportation. Because Launceston Podo and don't have a room on the first floor, it is a semi-underground. It is an upgraded deluxe room, but half of the intersection. Underground.
Recommended to take a taxi to Grand Canyon Park. Summer is very beautiful.

The room size is suitable, the kitchen facilities are complete, and the washing machine also includes washing powder, which is very convenient. It is recommended to go by car and have many parking spaces.

We love this hotel! We called them up few days before to confirm the amenities inside our room and also a special request too! They answered our call and sort it out super quick!
The location is super convenient, close to airport. Bathroom very clean, beds are comfortable.
Air conditioning maintained our room in a perfect temperature.
One thing which is not important for everyone, is the dishwasher is leaking water!

Guest UserWe had a very early flight, and We were tired , they kindly got our room quickly ready and gave us it for midday . Nothing was too much trouble. Great meal in the restaurant for dinner and the bar and atmosphere very old world . Top stay would definitely recommend any person to book. Pauline ( Sydney northern beaches)

It was within walking distance to the city center and there was a parking lot, so it was convenient. It's a typical Australian hotel, with a pub on the first floor of the building, which is popular and convenient for people who want to drink. There is a cafe nearby that is open from 6am and the bread was delicious. There was also a Japanese bento shop opposite the hotel.

As a solo traveller just spending one night in Launceston, The Star Hotel was the ideal choice. It is centrally located and street parking was easy to find and free between 17.30 and 09.00 next day. The room itself was compact but comfortable with an ensuite. The friendly, efficient female staff member was able to help with local advice and when I decided to have dinner later, the food and service were exceptional. Three see a couple of stair cases to negotiate but really no trouble. This place was a highlight of my travel in Tasmania.
