Fairfield by Marriott baoding high tech zone

This is the only Marriott-branded hotel in Baoding, a bit of a distance from the East Station. The lobby's height and area are quite impressive for a Fairfield Inn. When I checked in, the front desk attendant, Mr. Ge Xushi, was very responsive to my needs, and he consistently helped follow up and resolve any issues I encountered during my three-day stay. I'm very grateful to him. The complimentary laundry service was a pleasant surprise and something I've never experienced in any other hotel of this type. I used it for two days, and the cleaning lady would have everything washed for me early in the morning. Definitely a thumbs up!

The hotel was easy to find and the room was spacious. Overall, no major issues, but the attention to detail was severely lacking. The hygiene standards were frankly unacceptable. For a Marriott brand, the cleanliness was worse than some budget chain hotels. The amenities in the bathroom weren't great, especially the comb which was really hard to use. And was I too late for breakfast? There was absolutely nothing left to eat, even the coffee was undrinkable.

Not bad, quite clean with friendly service. Any requests were promptly met, and the response time was quick. It's convenient if you're driving, otherwise, you'll need to take a taxi. Overall, pretty good!

An impeccable stay, every detail from check-in to check-out showed great care and thoughtfulness. The room was clean, luxurious, well-laid-out with a great view, and the facilities were high-end and complete. The service was attentive and considerate, proactively helping with all kinds of issues. The location was excellent. Overall quality was outstanding, a strong five-star recommendation!

An excellent hotel chain, truly lives up to the Marriott brand. The service is genuinely good 👍 The hotel has a great location, making it very convenient to get to attractions. The breakfast is rich and varied, with both Western and Eastern options. Excellent service!

Good, attentive service and a nice breakfast. A bit far from the city center.

This is considered a good hotel for the area. The rooms are tidy, clean, spacious, and bright. If you get a higher floor, it's also pretty quiet. I heard the lower floors can have a strong smoke smell, so a higher floor would be better.

Baoding is such a hidden gem, and so is this hotel! What an unexpected surprise – a truly peaceful stay. We happened to be there during the Baoding Marathon, and the hotel was incredibly well-prepared. I'd definitely choose this hotel again next time.
