"Wow, what an amazing host! Jorge knew all about the surrounding areas, the National Park trails we wanted to visit and what activities were available to us. We had all our meals at the ranch, and he was even kind enough to pack us simple sack lunches for our day in the National park. Meals were deliciously simple. We enjoyed zip lining with the kids at the ranch and felt super safe zipping among the canopy. Don’t use Google to get to the ranch, use Waze! Google took us down an abandoned “road” more like an extreme 4x4 road and Waze too is the correct way."

"This was a wonderful place to stay - in a great little cabin in a lovely garden surrounded by birds, a sloth and even a wee snake in a shrub at reception! Lovely breakfasts were included in the price and were so nice surrounded by hummingbirds etc. The lodge itself is in a fab spot, so peaceful and close to the township of Bijagua. And it has it’s own rainforest walk to a waterfall - complete with coati, capuchin monkeys, butterflies, etc"

"This location is a place in a beautiful secluded area outside of Begaces, an amazing little town. We enjoyed the peacefulness and hospitality that we haven't found anywhere else in our travels. The owner is an outstanding person who ensures you have all the local knowledge of Costa Rica and the area. This is a special place to say the least and has alot of exciting things to offer. The future of Destinon is going to be something amazing. Thank you for the experience"

Jardin entre Montañas ★★★

"We stayed December 2024 in the very private Cocoa Cabin. Breakfast was varied each day and was exceptional (hot Chocolate from the cocoa for their yard). It was a nice treat not to have to share any walls with other guests (just the sounds of frogs at night and birds in the morning). At night we could look for frogs in the garden with the owner. The place was very clean and comfortable. The hosts were very warm and we loved learning about Costa Rica culture. Shower is hot water on demand, so you could change the temperature to hot or cooler on the shower dial (based on the season). Small kitchen with the necessary basics was included. They only recommended tours and restaurants they were familiar with and approved. Close to a lovely national park with waterfalls, all sorts of tours are available in this area and better than Monteverde with wildlife abundant (we saw 2 and 3 toed sloths, toucans, frogs in the garden). Wifi connection was consistent. I would go back in a heartbeat."

"The hotel is run by a very helpful and friendly team. Kenneth in particular, was great. He took us on a wetland tour and the birding was outstanding. He is very knowledgeable, and could not have done more for us. Many large crocs too, but for us, the birds were worth visiting Costa Rica for. So many and such variety. Seeing Jabiru was the highlight. 26 of them!"

"I booked at the last minute but never regret doing so. This property is beyond my expectations and well managed and organized. Breakfast is good lunch also. They have a nice swimming pool and the view is also fantastic. Vibe is great definitely a chill place for vocations. And it’s close to most of the locations."
