Ir is a nice place in the middle of nature. Very quiet, good food and nice rooms. Also a very nice glamping facility with a view to a lot of stars in the sky. The owner is really nice and helpful. Same goes for staff at kitchen. I can highly recommend the place.

Lovely surroundings with a beautiful view and kind and accommodating host. Roads leading to the ranch are not easy to drive along, and it can be hard to find, especially at night. Definitely need a 4x4 to access. My sons enjoyed the pool and we saw a hummingbird, bullfrogs and several birds. Traditional yummy costa rican breakfast with fresh fruit, gallo pinto, eggs, cheese, fried plantain, toast.

Jorge's estate is incredibly beautiful, although it is somewhat difficult to reach by car, we would 100% recommend staying here. The house is very clean, large and fully equipped, but the best thing about the property is the 160 hectares estate that comes with it. The extremely friendly host Jorge joined us on a beautiful hike around the property, during which he gave us a lot of information about Costa Rica and nature. Jorge also provides home cooked meals for breakfast and dinner, which where all delicious. He gave us a lot of information about things to do in the area, you can tell he knows the area well. In addition to a comfortable stay, there is also a jacuzzi and swimming pool where you can enjoy the beautiful view. We enjoyed the view in the warm jacuzzi in the evening. You can also enjoy activities such as ziplining and horse riding. An absolute must for anyone who wants to enjoy the beautiful nature of Costa Rica in a unique way!

Don't be intimidated by the rough road; it's suitable for every vehicle. For groceries, head into the city since there's nothing nearby. Driving for it could take an hour due to road conditions. The owner offers delicious food at affordable prices. You must try the zip line; it's phenomenal and suitable even for 6-year-old kids, and it's cheaper than other places. Additionally, I highly recommend trying a horse ride; it's an unforgettable experience, also suitable for 6-year-old kids, and cheaper than other places. The pool with a waterslide and hot tub was helpful for cooling down the kids.Two local dogs added to our wonderful experience. Amazing experience!

We had an amazing time with Jorge. The room and ranch environment were so relaxing and enjoyable. Food was also fantastic! The kids enjoyed the zipline, pool and horseback riding. The family studio was equipped with everything we needed. Saw lots of beautiful birds right outside our window!

The dome was breathtaking as were all the view across the property. Home cooked meals, a countryside settings with on-site activities paired with a luxury room and enjoyable extras like a pool and a jacuzzi make this place an interesting mix between getting away in the wilderness while having the comfort of an hotel. We spent 2 days on the ranch and completely disconnected from the rest of the world. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Vida Aventura Ranch on our first day in Costa Rica. We booked a van transport from Liberia airport, which took maybe 45-60 minutes. Our kids loved being able to explore the ranch upon arrival and play with the farm dogs. The studio apartment was perfect for our family of 5. We did not use the kitchen except for drinking water because the food service at the ranch was readily available (and delicious, authentic, Costa Rican food). The pools and water slide were fun for the kids. We also did the horseback riding experience which was a highlight. Lots of volcanoes to view in the distance and landscape to take in. We would definitely stay again on a future trip to Costa Rica!

We spent here a few days to visit Rincon de la Vieja and ended up spending way more time at the Ranch than we expected. It gave us the calm get away from the city we needed. We did the hike around the ranch two times, went horse-riding with the family, and spent every night in the jacuzzi to watch the sundown. When I asked my daughters what they liked most, they answered ´laying down in the grass in front of the apartment looking at the stars´, which I think saids it all! Jorge was attentive of anything we needed and personnel on the farm were also really nice.

Amazing ranch, so beautiful with incredible views! The place is very well maintained, swimming pool is very nice, horses are healthy and people are very cheerful. We did the horse back riding in the ranch and had such an amazing time, we also did the hike and had an incredible view on Rincon de la Vieja. It's isolated but close to the volcano. We loved it!
