"This is a superb property located just a few minutes drive from Ella town. It's built on a safe and scenic landscape facing the beautiful mountains in the area. They offer about 2 types of rooms depending on facilities and rates. We spent 3 days in their cabanas and I must say it was stylish and built to provide a great view. Their staff was friendly and helpful. Only downside of the hotel is it's poorly maintained. It lacked on cleanliness and there were dirty stains on the bed linen. We also figured a rat roaming inside room during the second day. Though they have a pool, it didn't look clean enough for us to use. There were certain other areas within the premises that looked abandoned. If they can fix the above mentioned issues, this could be one of the best hotels in the area. I hope my comments will be taken positively and as an opportunity to improve. "

"Dulanga and his team was great House keeping- Tharindu, Shehan, Dilshan Kudos to chef for wonderful food. Doggys- Brunow, Tiger, Chiku Property is in the heaven. If you are visiting to Srilanka definitely visit this place Elle jungle resort."

"I had a good experience with the hotel. The room was beautiful, there was hot water, and the dinner and breakfast were delicious. However, due to the construction site nearby, the view from the window didn't match the photos. However, that doesn't apply to the hotel."

Namara Green Ella

"This is a really great boutique hotel just outside of Ella town - a quick Tuk Tuk ride. It actually is closing for 6 months (from January 2025) to add another 8 rooms and you can understand why is it popular. I am sure it will re-open even better than it is now. It is in a beautiful setting and the rooms are really nicely decorated and very clean. The bathrooms are really great - large enough and good shower. There is no TV in the rooms as the owner wants to encourage people to get out into nature - but the internet is excellent, very fast. The breakfast does not have a Sri Lankan option, which is a shame as that would of been nice. For dinner (if you are in the hotel) you can order takeaway from the local restaurants and they will deliver. One tip is to always get a Tuk Tuk back to the hotel at night as walking back is very dark and along a road that does not have a footpath. Tony manages the hotel and he is really great - extremely helpful and just super friendly and very welcoming to everyone."

"It's good because you can walk from the station. The downside is that it's about a 10-minute walk from the downtown area. The facilities are satisfactory for the price. There is no restaurant."

Olympus Plaza Hotel

"It's a very budget hotel, you've got go up and down a number of flights of stairs to get to your room. There is a lift but only on one side of the hotel, The view side, no lift. That view is really good, even mist rolls in from time to time. Downside. the road to walk to town is pretty dangerous as tuk tuks, buses and cars don't really look out for pedestrians. Some of them even park where pedestrians walk. The food also was pretty average. There isn't much to do in the nearby town. Laundry is charged per item."
