Localizado à entrada de Évora, vindos de Lisboa, a Casa do Vale é, para além de um excelente Hotel para pernoitar na Cidade Património Mundial da Humanidade, um espaço gastronómico de eleição.,Viemos, levados pela fama do seu Gaspacho Alentejano e não nos arrependemos. Podemos considerar um dos melhores, senão mesmo o melhor que degustamos até agora. Sob a batuta da Chef Patrícia Quintal, foi a maior promessa da Gastronomia, a jovem Mafalda Santos, que ao comando, nos proporcionou esta fantástica aventura gastronómica. Excelente Gaspacho Alentejano. A acompanhar um Branco da Casa, fresquinho e muito bem encorpado. Para terminar, fizemos um “pijaminho” com duas fantásticas sobremesas caseiras, uma Tarte de Maçã e um Pudim de Ovos, ambos caseiros. Destaque para a Chef de Sala, Marta Pinto, sempre muito previdente, destacando-se o seu grande profissionalismo e simpatia. Ficámos surpreendidos com este Restaurante de Hotel, pela sua qualidade. Às portas de Évora, vindos de Lisboa, aqui está uma boa opção para usufruir de um excelente equipamento hoteleiro, aliado a um Restaurante digno dos grandes. A voltar, sem dúvida. Not a great start but did get better through the 4 days. Our arrival was frosty, especially madame manager who couldn’t crack a smile for her customers. Next it’s a 4 star hotel that wanted payment for the room upfront. Then they didn’t accept Amex and finally, laundry service was suspended but they could give us the details of do it yourself launderettes in the town. Not a good start to our expensive stay. That said we had a very nice bungalow, well maintained and a nice cool retreat from the blistering summer heat. Great shower pressure, comfortable beds. All the important things for a vacation. The weird process of having to book specific times for breakfast and dinner didn’t make much sense, especially since there were never more than 4 tables occupied for the times we were there. Could be a process still in place from the pandemic. The jewel was the roof pool and solarium. A lovely place to chill after tourism. The staff we engaged with were very nice and helpful. It’s a shame our initial experience was tainted by management and some obscure policies you’d not expect for a hotel with 4 stars.

LOVED THIS HOTEL! We stayed here two nights while on a Country Roads of Portugal tour. Great location-perfect actually. You are away from the City Town Square but only a 10 minute walk from the hotel where it is quiet. The room was spacious with all the the amenities you would expect from a high end hotel. The breakfast was lovely and plenty of choices and stations. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Evora one of my favorites!!

We had a wonderful stay in Evora and booked the MouraSuits Hotel. The check-in was super friendly and we even allowed our room to be taken up more than indicated. The hotel offers an extra parking space so we did not have any problems with the closing of our car. We had a superior room for 2 people with view of the pool. The bathroom is beautifully equipped with a rain shower. The pool was also pleasantly cold, but not too cold. The breakfast was a dream. We could order our egg food without a surcharge, there were various fresh juices as well as cheese and sauce cut, baggage, etc. We will come back in any case.

We had a superb staying at the Noble House, we stayed in the Noble Suite, it’s a fantastic room perfect for reading, very quiet and with 2 amazing French Doors with fantastic views over Évora beautiful landscape!!The hotel is an old Manor House well decorated, the staff is super friendly, delicious breakfast, thank you very much to all for making our stay even better!

Too beautiful hotel, great location, super breakfast, free parking on public holidays, weekdays, 5 euros a night! Clean, tidy, bathroom and room are the biggest in the whole Portugal trip! Must like it! Evora has a lot of extra points for this hotel! New Year's dinner is also great!

Service: Front desk staff was extremely friendly and cheerful. Same goes to the food & beverage guest facing staff. We were treated well throughout the hotel with no gaps in service or attention. Breakfast selection was fresh and having the opportunity to try traditional “convent cakes” is a real treat. The lobby bar is very quiet but it’s a good place to come for an afternoon snack (sandwiches, toast with butter, potato chips/crisps). Facilities: Wanted to use the outdoor pool but the weather was too cold to go swimming. No fault of the hotel. - does not have an elevator, not good for elderly guests. - parking is limited, call in advance to get a spot or drive around the city to find an empty spot like we did. - driving to the hotel is tricky as the location is in the historic city center with very steel and narrow roads. - free WiFi and good connectivity throughout. Hygeine (overall): Although the convent is centuries old we find the common areas very clean and full of sunlight. Only area we find to be dark are the interior corridors towards to swimming pool and another set of hotel rooms. Antique furniture and the display of azuleju and tapestries were very well done and well preserved. Rooms: We stayed on the 2nd floor and had a nice view to the Cathedral. The rooms were clean and very basic. Loved the hotel using local Portuguese brand Castelbel for shampoo/soap and the body lotion. - does not have hot water kettle (some hotels you need to call to have it delivered to the room, we did not do that this time) - acoustics are quite powerful especially the noise from the corridor to the room. - need to confirm a breakfast time slot the evening before. All in all, our stay was pleasant and I had one of the best sleeps. It was so close to major landmarks and will certainly come back to stay.

Wonderful hotel in Evora! The hotel was well located, quiet part of town but near all sites we wanted to visit. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean and had a lovely view of the courtyard. The hotel’s breakfasts were delicious! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The underground parking garage was a real plus because driving and parking in the old town could be challenging. The hotel is just inside the old walls. We would definitely highly recommend it! We stayed 2 nights.

Very small town, because of the location of this hotel, the hotel is relatively small, no extra bed at all, the bed is small, the location is OK, the restaurant environment is not bad ~ ~ breakfast is also rich, no hot water!
