If you spend the night in this city, it's a great hotel. The location is very good, the surroundings are very quiet, and there are very good restaurants nearby. If you had stayed here, you would not have chosen another hotel.

Close to train station and zoo, room to the backyard and quite spacious, has fully equipped kitchen, but no hoover, with warning that one shall not produce smoke/steam, as the detector is directly connected to the fire station, and warms about fine it would cause. Need to clean the kitchen, otherwise fine 50 euro. Cleaning team needs better briefing and communication. Room door was opened by cleaning staff twice before check out time. Free tea and coffee available at nice lobby lounge.

Was stranded at the door step and was unable to get into. Ring up the given number and there's no one picking up. A kind soul, happen to be unit neighbour helps us out. Manage to contact them and realise that they DIDN'T email us the necessary documents and password inorder to gain access into the unit. Imagine what what if this happened on a late night. Very nervous and bad experience despite all the pros about this unit.

Hotelzimmer war geräumig, schön schlicht und modern eingerichtet und sauber. Bett weich mit Topper, nur das Spannbettlaken nicht für die Größe passend (Matratze hat sich gewellt). Bad und Dusche sauber, Fön vorhanden und Duschgel. Toilettenpapierhalter hat gefehlt. Wasserschaden im Bad neben Dusche, was wir an Rezeption gemeldet haben. Hotel gut zentral gelegen, zu Fuß die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten zu erreichen. Parkplatz keiner direkt vor Hotel. Kiesplatz für 10 € pro Tag um die Ecke buchbar. Besser noch der Parkplatz vom Edeka (in der Nähe) für 6 € pro Tag. Personal freundlich, aber nicht überbemüht. Als wir ankamen, mussten wir erstmal auf eine Dame warten, bis wir einchecken konnten, weil Rezeption nicht besetzt war. Auf die Frage, ob es Parkplätze zum Aufladen des E-Autos gäbe, war die Antwort nur:”Keine Ahnung...haben wir bisher nicht gebraucht...” Mithilfe von google konnten wir dann aber gleich in der Nähe 2 Plätze finden. Das Gebäude selbst 160 Jahre alt, schöner Backsteinbau mit tollem Innenhof (im Sommer bestimmt sehr schön zum Sitzen dort) und renoviert. Das Frühstück war sehr gut: viel Auswahl, reichlich zum Nachnehmen, leckere Kaffeemaschine, verschiedenste Säfte und man konnte individuell z.b. nach einem gekochten Ei fragen. Alles in allem gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Für 2 Nächte und Stadtbesichtigung auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert.
