Jeju June Weather

Planning a mid-year getaway to Jeju Island? June marks the start of early summer, bringing warm temperatures, fresh greenery, and the beginning of Korea’s rainy season.

The key difference is the rising humidity and occasional rain showers, so packing smart and planning flexible itineraries will make your trip smoother.

Despite the wetter conditions, June can still be a great time to visit Jeju, with fewer crowds, scenic landscapes, and comfortable weather compared to peak summer months.

Jeju Weather in June: Quick Overview

Cleanliness 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Location 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Value 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Service 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Overall is great! Easy access to convenient shops, restaurants and most of those famous stores like Olive Yong, Mandarin Island, as well as duty free mall. It’s within walkable distance. Staffs are helpful. And the room is cozy with nice view and comfort bed. Only the breakfast is not really up to my expectations. Various choices but taste so so. Yet I had a pleasant stay. Highly recommended 👍

The Jeju Sunshine Hotel boasts an excellent location, just about 2 kilometers from Jeju International Airport, a quick ten-minute taxi ride away. Within walking distance, you'll find convenience stores, restaurants, and duty-free shops like Lotte and Shilla, making shopping and getting around incredibly convenient. The rooms are spacious and tidy, and after a renovation in 2019, the facilities feel quite new. The central air conditioning maintains a comfortable temperature, and the soundproofing is excellent, ensuring a good night's sleep on soft bedding. A thoughtful touch is the inclusion of universal power outlets, so no adapter is needed, and toiletries are provided (though you'll need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste). The front desk offers Chinese-speaking staff, making communication smooth. They also provide free luggage storage and can arrange airport shuttle service. The breakfast spread is extensive, featuring Chinese, Western, and Korean dishes, and the hotel has well-equipped facilities like a gym and sauna. Overall, it offers great value for money. While the decor leans towards a business style, the attentive service and convenient location make it an excellent choice for families or shoppers visiting Jeju Island.

Exceeded expectations! This was the best value for money I found for a two-night stay in Jeju. Other places at a similar price point had tiny rooms, but this one had a great location and a fantastic view from a much more spacious room. I'd definitely stay here again. Being right outside the door for shopping and food was super convenient.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, and the front desk could communicate in English. They also offered luggage storage. It's not far from Chilseong-ro Street and Dongmun Market, within walking distance. The hotel is a bit old-fashioned, and the facilities aren't very smart, but that's understandable. Overall, I recommend it.

This hotel exceeded all my expectations! The room was spotlessly clean with a comfy bed and fast Wi-Fi. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Such a great stay! The hotel is well-maintained, quiet and convenient for both business trips and sightseeing. The breakfast had a nice variety of tasty options, and the front desk staff were quick to assist with any requests. Highly recommended!

”Who said that Jeju Island has a romantic sea breeze? The EEDO villa I lived in this time directly refreshed my understanding of 'home away from home'! The constant temperature pool control must be rushed: soak in the warm pool in the afternoon, the blue sky of Jeju is looking up, and the water waves are swaying the sun like a broken drill. Every shot is an ins wind blockbuster ~ room details are full: the bedding is soft to like trapped in the clouds, and every day I wake up outside the window is a clean healing scenery, and even the bathroom exudes a faint fragrance. When I checked in, there were Jeju specialty oranges on the table, which were sweet to bursting juice! In the evening, I personally helped us barbecue, the sound of black pork and his special sauce, and I went down and went directly to the soul to wear ”The Canteen” 😂 Before leaving, I even sent a small souvenir. The location of the villa is super convenient, it takes 15 minutes to go to Yayuexuan to see the seagulls. Remember to bring more swimsuits, poolside and lounge chairs are too filmed. If Jeju Island is gentle and shaped, it must be the water ripples in the EEDO villa pool + the fireworks of the landlord's grandfather's barbecue. Sisters close their eyes and rush, this is definitely worth N brushing!

Very close to the sea, and you can see the ocean from the balcony. However, the specific room we were assigned was a bit off to the side, with another building visible. In the evenings, there's singing in the square, which can be a bit noisy. The hotel beds weren't very comfortable; they sagged in the middle.

Right downstairs is a pedestrian street, and across the road is Haeundae Beach 🏝️. A 5-minute straight walk takes you to the subway station, and there's an airport bus stop right nearby. The room was clean and tidy, and the Korean guys and girls at the front desk were very nice and spoke good English. For this price, having all these amenities is really great; it's so much better than a 4-star hotel in Dameisha, Shenzhen.

The rooms were much newer than the photos suggested. We booked connecting rooms, which were very spacious, but I wasn't a fan of the carpet. The curtains were too short and let in a lot of light, and the window soundproofing wasn't great either. The front desk staff spoke Chinese as well as a native speaker, but they all seemed like emotionless robots. The convenience store coupons they gave us, about 200 worth for two rooms, were a great value. However, the hotel's cleanliness really lacked in details – I found false eyelashes on the back of the TV remote!

The hotel's location is super convenient, just about a 10-minute drive from the airport. You can also walk to Baojian Road in about 10 minutes, and there's a duty-free shop nearby, making shopping and dining really easy. As for the accommodation, the room environment was good, spacious, and generally comfortable. The service was pretty standard, nothing particularly stood out. One thing to note is that the hotel doesn't provide complimentary bottled water, so you'll need to buy your own. Overall, considering the location and room conditions, it's a good value-for-money hotel.

Conveniently located: A 3-minute walk to Black Pork Street, 5 minutes to Chilseong-ro, and 10 minutes to Dongmun Market. Only 3.2km from the airport, a taxi ride takes about 10 minutes. Plenty of convenience stores and supermarkets nearby, making dining and entertainment incredibly easy. Ocean View: High-floor rooms directly overlook the azure sea. Open the window and you'll see the lighthouse and breakwater, with breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. Attentive Service: The staff are warm and friendly, happy to help arrange taxis and offer free luggage storage. Their attention to detail is exceptional. The rooms are simple yet modern, with spacious interiors (approx. 26-29㎡), soft bedding, and separate wet/dry areas in the bathroom, all exceptionally clean. There's also a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. Location, ocean view, and great value for money – a triple threat! Step out and you're by the sea, turn around and you're surrounded by delicious food. This is an excellent choice for your stay in downtown Jeju City.

The hotel is right next to Baojian Road, very close to Shilla Duty Free. Downstairs, there's a supermarket and a CU convenience store. The front desk staff all speak Chinese, so communication is absolutely no problem. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel, and both the 312 and 316 buses go to Dongmun Market, which is super convenient.

Facilities: The bathroom is quite spacious, and the room comes with a safe and a fridge, which I really liked. The bathroom is big enough, but I couldn't find the ventilation fan, so it can get a bit smelly after a bowel movement. It seems they provide mainland China plugs. Disposable slippers and toiletries are not provided. Luggage storage is available in the lobby. Hygiene: Couldn't really tell, but to the naked eye, everything seemed fine. Service: There's a bar on the top floor and another one on the ground floor; both look very inviting, but I didn't have time to check them out. The surroundings are very convenient. The front desk staff don't speak Chinese, but you can manage check-in fine; just rely on a translator.

The hotel is conveniently located about 2.4km from the airport and offers breakfast. It's a typical budget business hotel often used by tour groups. The rooms are small, and it can get crowded, so the value for money isn't great. However, the front desk staff are very friendly and helpful, always ready to answer questions and provide directions to tourist attractions after looking them up online. It's also about a 20-minute drive to the Olle Trail, accessible via subway line 16.

The environment is absolutely fantastic; the air on the mountain is superb, perfect for taking a leisurely stroll. There's a unique theater nearby where you can catch a show – just make sure to plan your time accordingly. The rooms are also very spacious and the facilities are well-appointed. There's a convenience store on the first floor of the hotel where you can even top up your transit card. The location is a bit far from the CBD, but for this price and the quality of the accommodation, you really can't ask for more. I highly recommend taking a taxi; otherwise, you'll have to drag your luggage up a hillside path, which would be quite strenuous.

Aewol Jeju City|14.78km from downtown
Arrived in Jeju and spent two nights by the sea in Aewol-eup, where I booked the Uni Hotel. Most hotels here have a 3 PM check-in and 11 AM check-out. The owner is Chinese, and they also own the coffee shop next door and the black pork BBQ restaurant. When you check in, you get a buy-one-get-one-free coffee voucher and a 10% discount voucher for the black pork BBQ. Overall, the cleanliness is acceptable – of course, you can't compare it to a five-star hotel. It's also a bit old, so some of the fixtures are dated, like a cracked showerhead and a leaking toilet. They provide four bottles of water daily, and daily trash removal is included. Getting a taxi is quite convenient, and there are several restaurants and convenience stores nearby.
