Jeju June Weather

Planning a mid-year getaway to Jeju Island? June marks the start of early summer, bringing warm temperatures, fresh greenery, and the beginning of Korea’s rainy season.

The key difference is the rising humidity and occasional rain showers, so packing smart and planning flexible itineraries will make your trip smoother.

Despite the wetter conditions, June can still be a great time to visit Jeju, with fewer crowds, scenic landscapes, and comfortable weather compared to peak summer months.

Jeju Weather in June: Quick Overview

Hwajowon / Flower Bird Park

My elderly mum and me had a wonderful stay at Maison Glad, the hotel is a big property, there are two wings whereby my aunt and cousin stayed at another wing. We got a corner room and it was very spacious with two double beds. The toilet was equipped with standing shower and bath tub. It was a relief for us as we preferred standing shower as our legs were not that good to climb into the bath tub. The hotel breakfast is international style and there are different fruit drinks to choose. The hotel lobby has a cafe selling bakery and coffee, we spent our leisure there in afternoon too. Hotel staff are all very friendly and polite. The hotel location is very convenient diagonally across Shila duty free shop and many restaurants.

Jeju Oriental Hotel offers a comfortable and convenient stay in Jeju City. The rooms are spacious and clean, with ocean views that add a relaxing touch. Staff are attentive, and the location is ideal—close to Black Pork Street and Yongduam Rock. However, the casino was underwhelming: small in size, with very limited game options, and only baccarat was operational during my visit. If you’re not there for gaming, the hotel still delivers solid value and a pleasant experience overall. Great for sightseeing and unwinding, but not the best pick for casino enthusiasts.

This hotel exceeded all my expectations! The room was spotlessly clean with a comfy bed and fast Wi-Fi. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Such a great stay! The hotel is well-maintained, quiet and convenient for both business trips and sightseeing. The breakfast had a nice variety of tasty options, and the front desk staff were quick to assist with any requests. Highly recommended!

Check-in was easy and all the service staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were quite comfortable. The bed was the softest and most comfortable we've had across all our stays in Korea. Seating on the terrace was quite comfortable too. When I went downstairs to ask fo more water, the service was prompt, with a bag at my door by the time I was back at my room. The restaurant food was also quite tasty and reasonably priced for dinner and a wide selection for breakfast, with some options changing from day to day. The hotel also has an area where cars can easily drive up to the door, making taxi/uber services simple for pickup and dropoff. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel's location is excellent, right across from Shilla Duty Free. There are many great restaurants nearby, and it's just a 5-minute walk to Baojian Road, the pedestrian street, and even Lotte Duty Free. The hotel rooms are very spacious, and the bathtub is a jetted tub! The front desk offers Chinese-speaking service. Breakfast is clean and delicious. This hotel offers fantastic value for money and is highly recommended. Jeju Island is perfect for a vacation, and we'll definitely choose this hotel again next time.

The hotel is conveniently located near bus stops and is only a 15-20 minute walk to two duty-free shops, making it easy to pop back after shopping. Downstairs, there's a large G25 convenience store for snacks like instant noodles, and a Starbucks, which is great for accessibility! However, the bedding and facilities weren't very clean; the sheets had some stains, and toothbrushes weren't provided, so you'll need to bring your own. On the bright side, the hotel gave us a 10,000 KRW voucher for the supermarket, which was a nice bonus!

The location is great, just a few stops from the airport and within walking distance to the city center. There's a bus stop right outside the front door. Facilities: It has everything you need, but no toothbrushes are provided. The toilet is smart, and there's a bathtub. It would be even better if there were outlets by the bed. Cleanliness: The cleanliness is pretty good, didn't notice any major issues. Environment: The room faces inwards, so there's no street noise, but the soundproofing is a bit poor.

On the first floor, there's a microwave, an ice machine, and vending machines for snacks and drinks. Coffee (Americano) is around 1800 JPY and a latte is 2200 JPY, so it's quite convenient overall. However, it's a bit of a hassle to have to go downstairs every time you want to heat something up.

This hotel is right by the sea with unbeatable ocean views. It's also very close to the airport. However, getting to tourist attractions by public transport isn't very convenient, as you need to transfer. It's quite close to Qixing Street, though. The service was pretty good. My daughter got sick right after we arrived, and I asked the front desk staff for advice on the emergency room. Later, a local Chinese tour guide told me we picked the right hospital, so I'm very grateful to the front desk guy. The room we stayed in was nice, and hygiene was good. The only thing I couldn't understand is why there wasn't a single power outlet in the bathroom; I had to go outside to blow-dry my hair.

This hotel is located on the edge of Geonil Road, offering good value for money. Overall, it's pretty good; clean and safe. I have no complaints about the hotel itself, but the rules at South Korean hotels really surprised me. Even if there are available rooms, you can't check in before 3 PM, and you have to pay an extra 5,000 KRW for a toothbrush. Developed countries sure are different!

If you're staying in Hamdeok, you definitely need to book a room with an ocean view. This place is conveniently located and really offers great value for money. However, the windows were a bit dirty and the facilities are a bit old; I hope they can improve that.

The hotel's location is excellent, right in the city center and very close to the duty-free shop. The room we booked was spacious and had a large balcony overlooking Jeju city and the sea. Do note that the room doesn't provide toothbrushes or toothpaste, and the lighting is a bit dim. Overall, it's pretty good, mostly catering to Chinese guests, and the front desk staff can speak a few words of Chinese.

The environment is absolutely fantastic; the air on the mountain is superb, perfect for taking a leisurely stroll. There's a unique theater nearby where you can catch a show – just make sure to plan your time accordingly. The rooms are also very spacious and the facilities are well-appointed. There's a convenience store on the first floor of the hotel where you can even top up your transit card. The location is a bit far from the CBD, but for this price and the quality of the accommodation, you really can't ask for more. I highly recommend taking a taxi; otherwise, you'll have to drag your luggage up a hillside path, which would be quite strenuous.

2 of the man in charge of the front desk were unfriendly and looking fierce when we checked in. Upon checking out on the4th morning, we tried to ask them to assist in getting a taxi as I we have an early flight which they were reluctant. However, they complied but shouted at us to sit tight while he called for a taxi. This was uncalled for. Will never stay again even if the offer is free.

Aewol Jeju City|14.78km from downtown
Arrived in Jeju and spent two nights by the sea in Aewol-eup, where I booked the Uni Hotel. Most hotels here have a 3 PM check-in and 11 AM check-out. The owner is Chinese, and they also own the coffee shop next door and the black pork BBQ restaurant. When you check in, you get a buy-one-get-one-free coffee voucher and a 10% discount voucher for the black pork BBQ. Overall, the cleanliness is acceptable – of course, you can't compare it to a five-star hotel. It's also a bit old, so some of the fixtures are dated, like a cracked showerhead and a leaking toilet. They provide four bottles of water daily, and daily trash removal is included. Getting a taxi is quite convenient, and there are several restaurants and convenience stores nearby.
