Jeju June Weather

Planning a mid-year getaway to Jeju Island? June marks the start of early summer, bringing warm temperatures, fresh greenery, and the beginning of Korea’s rainy season.

The key difference is the rising humidity and occasional rain showers, so packing smart and planning flexible itineraries will make your trip smoother.

Despite the wetter conditions, June can still be a great time to visit Jeju, with fewer crowds, scenic landscapes, and comfortable weather compared to peak summer months.

Jeju Weather in June: Quick Overview

Jeju Internation Airport / Yeondong Jeju City|4.86km from downtown
The hotel is in the city center, making it very convenient for getting around and dining. The facilities are well-maintained, especially considering it's been 6 years since it opened. The hotel staff are all very friendly, and Lia at the front desk provided excellent service. The hotel shuttle is very convenient, running every half hour. The drivers and coordinators were all very polite. The only thing I have to complain about is a lady at the concierge desk. She looked Chinese, and on my first day, when I asked her a question, she claimed she could only speak English. However, on the second day, I saw her speaking fluent Mandarin by the elevator. Haha, it was really funny; her English wasn't even that good, yet she tried to pretend. If she's not in the mood to provide service next time, she shouldn't bother.

This room type is absolutely fantastic, perfect for two families traveling together or a group of friends. It features two bedrooms, a living room, and three bathrooms, plus a walk-in closet. The living room is spacious, and the two bedrooms are at opposite ends, ensuring privacy. Compared to booking two separate rooms, I find this option much more convenient for looking after each other, especially when traveling with parents. The hotel's location is also super convenient, close to duty-free shops,保健路 (Baojian Road), and various trendy restaurants. There's even a CU convenience store right across the street. The hotel service is excellent too, with Chinese-speaking staff available.

The hotel's location is excellent, right across from Shilla Duty Free Shop, and Lotte Duty Free is also about a 15-minute walk away. There are many restaurants within a 10-minute walk. Plus, the hotel offers a free shuttle bus service to and from the airport. The room isn't very spacious, and the single bed is a bit narrow at 1 meter.

Not bad at all, it's a great place for a vacation ⛱️. It's mostly Koreans, and there were also some corporate team-building events. It's very natural and the rooms are huge, with direct access to an ecological park with a small train. The highlight has to be the swimming pool – it's heated! There are multiple pools of different sizes, so it's perfect even for young children. There's also an indoor pool and a sauna. We made sure to go for a swim every day. The front desk staff were great too; they were able to accommodate most requests. A minor hiccup was that someone accidentally took my slippers, but after I reported it, they actually managed to get them back the next day! The only downside might be its remote location. It's quite a distance to get anywhere, and a taxi to the city center costs around 160. It's hard to hail a taxi yourself, but the front desk can help you call one. They don't use the meter, so it's a little bit more expensive, but they usually get a car for you in about 5 minutes.

”Who said that Jeju Island has a romantic sea breeze? The EEDO villa I lived in this time directly refreshed my understanding of 'home away from home'! The constant temperature pool control must be rushed: soak in the warm pool in the afternoon, the blue sky of Jeju is looking up, and the water waves are swaying the sun like a broken drill. Every shot is an ins wind blockbuster ~ room details are full: the bedding is soft to like trapped in the clouds, and every day I wake up outside the window is a clean healing scenery, and even the bathroom exudes a faint fragrance. When I checked in, there were Jeju specialty oranges on the table, which were sweet to bursting juice! In the evening, I personally helped us barbecue, the sound of black pork and his special sauce, and I went down and went directly to the soul to wear ”The Canteen” 😂 Before leaving, I even sent a small souvenir. The location of the villa is super convenient, it takes 15 minutes to go to Yayuexuan to see the seagulls. Remember to bring more swimsuits, poolside and lounge chairs are too filmed. If Jeju Island is gentle and shaped, it must be the water ripples in the EEDO villa pool + the fireworks of the landlord's grandfather's barbecue. Sisters close their eyes and rush, this is definitely worth N brushing!

This hotel is very close to Jeju Airport, a quick taxi ride away, and there's a bus stop right outside, making transportation very convenient. There's also a convenience store on the first floor. The stay itself was decent; the room was clean but the facilities were a bit dated, and the soundproofing wasn't great. Note that the hotel doesn't provide toothbrushes or slippers, so you'll need to bring your own. For catching a flight or a temporary stopover, it offers good value for money.

Our whole family thought this place was good, but there's room for improvement, which I'll list out: Areas for improvement: 1. The pool fee is 1000 KRW (about 5 RMB) and is paid to the hotel upon check-out. 2. The pool water wasn't very clean. 3. The curtains in our room had oil stains, and the sheets and duvet covers were damaged (Room 916). 4. Transportation isn't very convenient (by bus). There's only one bus stop nearby, and it's not very close. We always had to take a bus to the bus terminal (lines 431, 432) and then transfer to another bus. Pros: 1. The location is excellent. It's near the sea (no beach), and it's lively at night, great for a run. There's a seafood street by the sea, and it's not far from Dongmun Market. There are 7-Eleven, CU convenience stores, and BHC fried chicken nearby (don't get the cheese flavor, it's very greasy and sweet, but they do provide side dishes, cola, and cheese sauce). It's also not far from Chilseong-ro and there's a supermarket next door. 2. The hotel has deep, shallow, and hot spring-like pools.

The location is fantastic, right across from the Shilla Duty Free Shop. There's a 7-Eleven on the second floor, and a CU and Olive Young nearby. The front desk staff speak Chinese, making check-in and check-out very convenient. Taxis are easy to catch, and there are plenty of dining options around. The soundproofing in the hallway isn't great, so noisy neighbors could be an issue. They don't provide disposable toothbrushes, etc., and the slippers are plastic, so it's best to bring your own. Two bottles of mineral water are provided daily, and there's a refrigerator. For extended stays, rooms are cleaned every other day. You can leave your trash outside your door daily, and towels and mineral water will also be left there for you to bring in. There's only one power outlet by the bed and only two hangers are provided. The twin room has one large bed and one smaller bed; the smaller one is quite low, likely a spring mattress, and quite soft. The pillows are so flat they're almost useless.

This hotel is only about 20 minutes from Jeju Airport. After exiting the airport, it's just a short walk to platform 6 where you can catch the 365 bus directly to the hotel entrance, which is super convenient. Downstairs, there's a Starbucks and a 24-hour convenience store with an entire wall full of instant noodles. They even provide hot water and a microwave for preparation, which is incredibly handy. The room layout is also very practical and well-designed. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Jeju Island.

Facilities: The smart toilet and Wi-Fi were great, but the shower being in the bathtub was a bit inconvenient, and the bathroom was a little small – I had to dry my hair outside. There's a mirror directly opposite the bed, so be aware if that bothers you. Hygiene: The hygiene was very good; the room was clean and tidy overall, and housekeeping did a thorough job. Environment: The location is excellent, close to Baojian Road, and an easy walk to both duty-free shops. There's a 7-Eleven right in the hotel, souvenir shops nearby, a CU convenience store across the street, and it's very close to the airport. Overall, it's very convenient. Service: I requested not to have an end room when booking, but that's what I got. There was a slight smell in the hallway. The front desk staff weren't very communicative, and luggage storage was just next to the front desk, unsupervised.

The hotel is located in a quiet part of town and is only 5 mins away by car from the airport. There are restaurants in the vicinity about 5-8 mins walk away ( black pork bbq and berrycoco cafe). We get a nice view of the sea from our rooms and one of the rooms comes with an arcade machine, which is fun to spend time with. The rooms have a small kitchenette and water dispenser which is very useful.

Switched from Lotte Hotel Seogwipo to Regent Marine. It was super convenient, only about a ten-minute taxi ride from the airport to the hotel. We were given a room on the top floor with a partial sea view, and it was fantastic watching planes take off and land every day with the ocean in front of us. I remember being really impressed by Ramada and Emart twelve years ago. Regent Marine is about a ten-minute walk to Emart, and across the street is Chilseong-ro Shopping Street. Downstairs, there's McDonald's, GS25, CU, and 7-Eleven, all very close by. The duty-free shop and Baojian Road are about a forty-minute bus ride away. The hotel's fried chicken delivery also came with two free drinks, and it tasted great. There were also vouchers for the coffee shop downstairs. A lot of Korean Air flight attendants stay at this hotel. I felt it was a great and convenient stay, plus there's a swimming pool, which made the kids very happy. Highly recommend!!!

Service: 🏨 The hotel staff speaks Chinese, which made communication easy. Cleanliness: 🪥 Remember to bring your own toiletries as the hotel doesn't provide them, though you can purchase them for about 1000 Korean Won per bag (around 4 RMB). The room was cleaned daily. Facilities: The hotel has a laundry room, though it's not very big, so you might have to wait if others are using it. The laundry detergent smells lovely. Environment: The room was very clean and quite spacious. The sink, however, was a bit... something (you'll understand when you see it). There were plenty of hangers, which I loved – perfect for anyone who likes to hang their clothes to dry. The area nearby is full of great food. We stumbled upon a seafood restaurant and, through a mix of English, Korean, and Chinese, managed to order and enjoy the raw squid recommended by the staff!

Super convenient! Everything you could want – food, drinks, and entertainment – is all within walking distance downstairs. Great food, great drinks, and great shopping! It's a 30-minute taxi ride from the city center, 40 minutes by taxi to Seongsan Ilchulbong, and 40 minutes to Batti Ranch. There's a bus stop just a five-minute walk away that can take you to Udo Island ferry terminal. Plus, there's an Olive Young nearby. Downstairs, you're surrounded by amazing restaurants. Hamdeok Beach is right across the street. The hotel even has a washing machine and dryer. And there's a convenience store right downstairs! So good!

The hotel is conveniently located about 2.4km from the airport and offers breakfast. It's a typical budget business hotel often used by tour groups. The rooms are small, and it can get crowded, so the value for money isn't great. However, the front desk staff are very friendly and helpful, always ready to answer questions and provide directions to tourist attractions after looking them up online. It's also about a 20-minute drive to the Olle Trail, accessible via subway line 16.

2 of the man in charge of the front desk were unfriendly and looking fierce when we checked in. Upon checking out on the4th morning, we tried to ask them to assist in getting a taxi as I we have an early flight which they were reluctant. However, they complied but shouted at us to sit tight while he called for a taxi. This was uncalled for. Will never stay again even if the offer is free.
