The hotel's location is pretty good. The staff provides excellent service, and the breakfast buffet is very generous. Downstairs, there are plenty of massage parlors and small restaurants, and a 7-Eleven right across the street. It's about a 7-8 minute walk to the BTS station, and you can even see the Pixel Building from the room. The only downside is that the room facilities are a bit old, but I can live with that.
The room was excellent – clean, comfortable, and spacious. The staff were incredibly friendly, especially the doorman/tuk-tuk driver, Ton. He was exceptionally polite! The entire hotel made for a very pleasant stay. The location was also great, easy to find, and in a quiet area with a 7-Eleven nearby. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Thailand.
Excellent hotel! It's 15 mins walk to the nearest bts train station (Sala Deng) but the hotel provides shuttle bus service every hour to Dusit Central Park which is right next to the bts. Though it's a bit far from the bts, the hotel is surrounded by fabulous restaurants, like Mimosa Italian Mediterranean Restaurant and the reputable thai restaurant called Baan Khanitha & Gallery.
The breakfast at the hotel provides a good variety of western food. You can order eggs the way you like it to your table.
The highlight was the spaciousness and cleaniness of each of the rooms, especially the 2 bedroom suite. Everyone enjoyed swimming at the pool, which wasn't too crowded. Perfect for families!
Well done, Ascott Embassy Sathorn Bangkok!
This hotel in Bangkok offers great value for money. It's right by the Chao Phraya River, and I almost always stay here when I'm in Bangkok. There's a particular lady at the front desk who, whether by coincidence or fate, I seem to encounter every year for check-in; her service is excellent. Getting around from here is quite convenient. The hotel offers a free shuttle boat to Sathorn Pier on the hour, and there are free tuk-tuks to the night market in the evenings. You can reach almost all the major attractions by boat. The only downside is that it's an older 5-star hotel, so the facilities are a bit dated. This time, my room was undergoing renovation, with wall demolition starting around 9 AM (I didn't pay attention to when it ended). However, it was very quiet in the evenings, so it didn't really bother me. Overall, it's still highly recommended!
Although the hotel is visibly aged, it boasts a great overall ambiance after the renovation. The room is spacious, and the sofa bed is very comfortable. There's a well-equipped pool and gym on the 6th floor. Breakfast is also extensive, and the staff are all very friendly and enthusiastic. The room type I booked on the 21st floor also has club access, where you can enjoy complimentary food like coffee, soft drinks, pastries, and fruits, which you can even take back to your room – pretty good!
Great location, very close to the BTS Skytrain. You can easily walk to the Erawan Shrine and Central World. The hygiene was well-maintained, and the service was excellent. Facilities are comprehensive, with a pool and gym, though they are a bit small. The rooms, however, are quite spacious. The welcome drink was a thoughtful touch. The hotel has a distinct medieval gallery style, and the theme really stands out. The room was very quiet, and the bedding was clean and comfortable. The staff were very warm and attentive.
Thank you for everything🩷 All the staff is so lovely and kind to us, which make our stay memorable. I wouldn’t expect either for such a surprise arrangement for our honeymoon. Really made our day after a total of 20 hours flight to Bangkok. The room is surprisingly clean and almost spotless despite the hotel seems a bit dated. Good job for the teams, and hope in the future the hotel can earn the extra star ⭐️ will definitely visit again!
Staffs are friendly, clean, location, near by has 711, jewellery mall, no have BTS.
A lot of improvement for this hotel, no has in-house slippers, hair dryer is old, if you has long hair, take time for drying…..
After 11pm, hard to get through the housekeeper and reception , press 0 but end up nobody pick up the phone.
I quite disappointed in breakfast, most are western foods, no have Thai foods.
The hotel is well-located and although the rooms are a little on the smaller side, they are clean and neat. Housekeeping was always efficient and all staff I interacted with were friendly. If anything, doors are not soundproofed well and it was unfortunate that I heard families yelling down the corridors early in the morning. Other than that, I would definitely stay again.
A hidden gem of a hotel I blindly picked for a business trip, and the service deserves high praise! Due to my itinerary, I chose this The Culture Center Point Hotel myself on Ctrip, and I didn't expect such a great experience! As a business hotel, the service was the most pleasant surprise. The staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and responded very quickly, making you feel right at home. The overall stay was fantastic, and I highly recommend it to anyone traveling here for business or leisure!
I stayed at lyf Sukhumvit 8 for 3 nights and really liked the location. It is close to Nana BTS station, so getting around Bangkok was easy without having to deal with traffic all the time. The room was compact but clean and comfortable, which was enough for a short city stay. I also liked the modern and casual design of the hotel. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby so i easily finding food was never a problem. Overall, a convenient choice for exploring Bangkok. ❤️
This hotel is incredibly convenient – affordable and directly connected to the station. However, the station-direct entrance only has stairs, so I'd recommend using the street-level access if you have large luggage. The facilities are a bit old, and the shower head is fixed, but it's acceptable for the price. In Bangkok, it's surprisingly hard to find hotels right next to a station, but during the rainy season, a direct station connection is a must! That's why I chose to stay here this time.
The hotel is a short walk away from Lumphini MRT station, which was very convenient. The staff were all able to speak English well, and I also overheard them speaking various other languages. Breakfast has a very nice spread, all the food’s delicious. The pool has a gorgeous view, the gym is very well-equipped with a dedicated area for cardio equipment and even a boxing bag, and the sauna and steam room were nice and not crowded at all. This is my second time staying here and I’ll definitely be back.
The hotel's location is great, less than 300 meters from the subway station. The hotel itself is quite upscale and grand, and the room facilities are comprehensive. The view from the room is beautiful. The main issues are that the room decor is a bit dated and the facilities aren't very new. The air conditioning is also quite noisy, which can affect sleep at night.
Although the hotel is a bit older, it's very clean. The staff are all incredibly friendly and attentive, always smiling. The hotel environment is also excellent, and the pool is beautiful. The Japanese-style architecture in the atrium is quite unique. What really stood out this time was the package deal: two hours of unlimited cocktails, beer, wine, and snacks from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM daily at the poolside bar or The Junction. This was fantastic value, and the snacks were plentiful. Breakfast was also very extensive. The dining vouchers provided by the hotel were also a great deal. I highly recommend booking a package. My only complaint is that the Trip.com staff were very unprofessional and impatient during the booking process. After we bought the package, it was upgraded later, but Trip.com offered no help at all. We had to contact the hotel directly to upgrade our package.
I had previously visited this hotel on an excursion from Pattaya. Now, traveling with my daughter to Koh Samet via Bangkok, we didn't hesitate to book this hotel again. I wanted to show my daughter the revolving observation deck on the 84th floor, the museum, and the large, diverse dinner buffet. We stayed on the 28th floor. The staff was welcoming, and the hotel's floor layout is well-planned. The reception is on the 18th floor. We were greeted immediately upon arrival, our luggage was taken care of, and we were escorted to reception. We were checked in a bit early, at 1 PM, and led to our room. The door opened and… I was surprised. The exterior impression didn't match the interior. The room was spacious, but had low ceilings, old and worn-out furniture. It was a corner room and very dark, with only one small, narrow window (very dirty) and unwashed curtains, overlooking a neighboring hotel wall. You could barely catch a glimpse of the city (we had booked a non-corner room with a city view). The large room had only two small lights, perhaps to hide the room's surprises. The entire room had carpet (which also seemed ancient). The bed linen and towels were clean but visibly old and worn from countless washes; the duvet cover even had pilling, and the towels were far from white – they really should have been replaced. The carpet also extended throughout the hotel corridors, which I believe contributed to the musty smell in both the room and corridors, a smell even the air fresheners (sprayers located everywhere – in corridors and lifts) couldn't mask. During housekeeping, the maid constantly turned on the air conditioning in our room. Initially, we didn't understand why. We went to reception to return a misplaced card (thinking the maid had left it during cleaning), and they told us to leave it on so the air conditioner would run. Then the picture became clear: if you turned off the air conditioning, an unpleasant smell filled the room, and even the sewage smell from the toilet carried through the ventilation. Strangely, there's no ventilation in the toilet, so we had to leave the door open when we left the room and keep the air conditioning on 16°C. This hotel is in dire need of renovation! The room's price doesn't reflect its condition. The hotel has a sports area with mini-golf and a small swimming pool (also from the same outdated facilities). There's also a floor with a spa and fitness center. On the 18th floor, there's a small shop and a few cafes. The food at the hotel, both breakfast and dinner, was excellent. You can dine on the balcony (with glass railings) on the 81st floor – the view is superb. This is the only thing that makes up for the hotel's aging facilities. There's a free transfer to the airport metro line – which is great! I recommend staying on the upper floors for a magnificent view! I only recommend this hotel for short stays.
Facilities: This place is perfect for young trendsetters, not in a 'nightclub' way, but more like a playground for the fashionable crowd.
Cleanliness: The pillows and bedding felt incredibly smooth and crisp, a refreshing change from the damp feeling I experienced at a hotel in Pattaya.
Location: Absolutely in the heart of the city, can't beat it! Close to the subway and within walking distance of many attractions, right next to the Pixel Building.
Service: Warm and welcoming, meeting Marriott's luxury standards, as expected. When I went to Paii for dinner, the staff even addressed me by my last name.
🐝 Bonus: I especially loved the MIX cocktails in the room! Shaking up my own drinks in the evening and sharing the 'Cocotail' fun with friends was a highlight! Highly recommend! ❤️🔥
Hotel is conveniently located just 5 min from BTS Nana. Tourists travelling with luggage can consider taking the elevator at the opposite end of Exit 2 (instead of the stairs on Exit 2 itself which is closest to the hotel). Room is spacious and clean. Breakfast is a good spread. However, service can be improved: (1) the staff at the breakfast area could have been more attentive, used plates all over the tables, (2) the kettle in the room kept leaking water (refer to photo), we called front desk and requested for another one on Feb 16, 10pm, the male attendant came and dismissed the problem, left our room within 5 min. We were left with a leaking kettle (which is kinda dangerous). The towel we placed below the kettle is dripping wet at the end of each day due to the leakage.
I stayed at this hotel for a business trip in May and had a good experience, so I re-booked the same hotel for another business trip in July. However, this time the service was exceptionally bad.
When I booked the hotel on July 8th, I specifically requested two separate beds. Five minutes later, I received confirmation from the hotel acknowledging our request. On July 14th at 7 PM, we arrived at the hotel to check in, and they told us there were no twin rooms available and expected two grown men to share a king-sized bed. Isn't that ridiculous?
We immediately called Ctrip to mediate, but the communication was fruitless. The hotel refused to switch us to a twin room, citing full occupancy. They then suggested we add an extra bed (for 1177 THB per night, which is about 240 RMB). They also said that our request was 'subject to availability' and if they had it, they'd provide it, but if not, there was nothing they could do.
What kind of excuse is that? We clearly stated our request when placing the order, and when you confirmed my booking, it implied you understood this requirement. Hotel bookings are made with prior knowledge of requests, not with a last-minute 'subject to availability' clause. If you couldn't provide it, you shouldn't have confirmed my order in the first place.
It was clearly the hotel's mistake, yet they wouldn't switch our room and expected the customer to bear the extra cost for an additional bed due to their error. Since our booking was non-refundable and it was late, we didn't have time to find an alternative hotel.
Ultimately, we ended up paying an additional 4708 THB / 960 RMB (for 4 nights). Ctrip eventually reimbursed us for the extra bed, but the hotel's behavior was completely outrageous and frankly disgusting.
Near BTS and metro , near major shopping centers and there's even a mini night market across it.
Best price to comfort ratio !
Only thing you must be able to endure is some noise as it's just outside the major road , but in all honesty , I myself couldn't hear much
As you’d expect from IHG, they always deliver great service. The hotel is conveniently located by the road, and you’ll find plenty of massage spots nearby. Plus, the Tops supermarket is just a short walk away, and the famous mango sticky rice shop is also close by. The breakfast is quite good, even though the choices are a bit limited. I’ve seen smaller hotels offer noodle and egg stations, which is a nice touch. The gym is a bit small, but they make up for it with an onsen, sauna, and swimming pool.
I had a wonderful stay at Staybridge Suites Bangkok Sukhumvit by IHG and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bangkok. The onsen is absolutely amazing ♨️ — very clean, relaxing, and well-maintained. It was the perfect place to unwind after a long day of exploring the city.
The front office staff were extremely helpful and professional 🙌. I had a midnight flight and requested a late check-out. Not only did they accommodate my request, but they also allowed me to use the onsen to shower again before heading to the airport. This thoughtful service made my travel experience much more comfortable and stress-free ✈️.
The room was spotless and very well equipped 🧼. I especially appreciated the washing machine with dryer, which is very convenient for longer stays or hot weather in Bangkok.
The buffet breakfast exceeded my expectations 🍳. There was a great mix of Japanese dishes and Thai local food, offering plenty of variety every morning. The quality of the food was excellent and definitely up to standard, with many delicious choices to enjoy.
Overall, this hotel provides excellent service, great facilities, and high-quality food. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Bangkok ❤️.
The room was spacious, featuring a mini-bar, a dressing room, and a cleverly concealed space for the washing machine. The water pressure was excellent, and the large bathtub filled up quickly. Breakfast offered a wide selection, including made-to-order items, hot dishes, desserts, bread, fruit, and salads; the menu varied slightly each day during our four-night stay. A shuttle bus conveniently departed every hour to the shopping mall. The swimming pool was large, with a separate children's splash pool. The location was convenient, surrounded by many chain massage parlors and convenience stores. The hotel staff were all very friendly. My family had a wonderful experience; it's very family-friendly, and we will definitely stay here again.
On my second business trip, I chose a Grande Centre Point hotel for my layover in Bangkok, and it’s easily my favorite hotel from all my trips to Thailand so far. The value for money is absolutely unbeatable.
The breakfast spread is fantastic, and the bed hits that perfect sweet spot of soft and firm. I also really appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the complimentary welcome snacks and the free snack bar. The front desk staff are incredibly warm and welcoming. When we arrived without any Thai baht, a lady at the welcome desk stepped in and sorted it out for us in a flash.
The Let's Relax spa on the 9th floor was a lifesaver, washing away all the exhaustion from the long flight and jet lag. From now on, this is definitely my go-to hotel brand in Bangkok. Highly recommend!
The views are absolutely stunning, and the surrounding environment is very comfortable. Transportation is also super convenient. The reception staff were incredibly friendly and attentive; they proactively opened the car door for us and even helped communicate with our driver. The front desk staff also had excellent attitudes. Overall, we had a very satisfying stay.
Right next to major luxury shopping malls like Central. Phloen Chit BTS station on the Sukhumvit line is also nearby. The hotel has a charming, old-school grand atmosphere. Be aware that you can hear traffic noise from outside at night, so it might bother those sensitive to sound. The room's air conditioning was a bit difficult to control.
Excellent value for money. The small restaurant on the second floor was a pleasant surprise. For discerning gourmets, there are 14 types of cheesecake available for tasting. The scents of the body products are unparalleled. The bed is set up to ensure you have a pleasant sleep.
The Banyan Tree Bangkok truly lives up to its reputation as a luxurious hotel. From the moment we stepped in, the staff's service was impeccable and attentive to every detail. We were greeted with fragrant wristbands and delicious roasted pumpkin, and our room was incredibly comfortable and beautiful. It offers great value for money, and if they have special offers again, I will definitely choose to stay here on my next trip to Bangkok. It's a fantastic choice.
The hotel boasts an excellent location in the Pratunam area, close to CentralWorld, Big C, and the Erawan Shrine. It's about a 15-minute walk to catch the BTS or Airport Rail Link, making transportation very convenient. The breakfast offers a wide variety of choices, and the hotel staff provide excellent service. I stayed in a different building, so I had to take an elevator to the 11th floor and then transfer to another elevator to reach my room. During peak hours, there could be a wait.
Service: After looking at several hotels, I finally decided on Pathumwan Princess Hotel, and it turned out to be the right choice! As soon as we arrived, staff at the entrance helped with our luggage, gave us a luggage tag, and had it sent to our room. The front desk lady was also super nice and handled the check-in very efficiently.
Environment: The room was clean and tidy. Although it's an older hotel, the room didn't feel dated at all. It's about a fifteen-minute walk to Chulalongkorn Night Market, and right next to a shopping mall and the MRT, which is super convenient. There's also a 7-Eleven downstairs, so plenty of milk tea every day! ✌
Breakfast: The variety isn't huge, but it changes daily. I highly recommend the freshly made noodle soup!
Stayed for 4 nights in this hotel. Good value deal for the price. Although it’s situated inside a street and many alleys to walk to,they have a buggy service to suffice. It’s a 20 minute walk to Platinum Fashion Mall and main shopping district. Busy area and lots of walking. The breakfast and dinner buffet is good with Thai, local,Western choices. The rooftop pool has a good view by day and night but just a small pool. Have your pictures reserved on your first day since it’s a busy hotel and everyone wants to have a picture souvenir, which we were not able to have due to the busy sightseeing schedule. Our room had a nice view of the front view of the hotel. The pillows and bed is okay. They clean the room daily and give coffee and tea. The bathroom is rather small but still okay. They give free popcorn and apple juice at the lobby is a treat. The birthday surprise in the room was nice with free cake and drinks was to my delight. The service and people/staff were polite and kind. This is a family hotel that is value for the price. Not really a 4 star for me but a 3 star at it’s best.
Overall, the stay was decent. The location was convenient and the room was clean. However, for a five-star hotel, the hardware and common areas felt a bit underwhelming and lacked that 'wow' factor of luxury.
The most disappointing aspect was breakfast. The selection wasn't extensive, the taste was average, and the speed and quality of refilling dishes didn't meet the standards expected of a five-star hotel. It fell quite short of expectations.
The staff were friendly, and there were no major issues during the stay. But if we're comparing it to other five-star hotels, there's definitely room for improvement in the overall experience. It's acceptable if you get it at a reasonable price, but if you're coming with five-star expectations, you might be a bit disappointed.
Very convenient location. There was a 7-11 and a bus stop in front of the hotel. The hotel also provided an hourly free shuttle service to the bts Phrakanong station. Amazing rooftop bar. Great breakfast. There was also a laundry facility on the first floor and if prefer there was also a laundromat with larger machines about 5 min walk away behind the hotel.
Not bad at all. It's located right in the center of Bangkok, with a 7-Eleven and a pharmacy just outside, and plenty of food options nearby. The steak at the restaurant to the right of the lobby entrance is absolutely top-notch. Overall, it's pretty good.
A good location hotel with foods, shopping around. Everything was good just that was not that very soundproof. Every day we go out at 12pm but around 9am onwards the corridor was quite noisy as the hotel cleaners is cleaning other rooms talking quite loudly. The hotel cleaner is good and assisting us to clear the rubbish etc just that if can lower down the volume will be better. Will consider to book this hotel again since overall is good! Can consider to stay if going for budget hotel (a 5 mins walk from center point hotel).
I booked this place for two nights. I saw other reviews saying the accommodation was clean, but for me, the bathroom was quite dirty, as if the housekeeper hadn't cleaned it at all. There were stain marks on the walls and the sink was also stained. However, the duvet and bedsheets were quite clean. On the second night, the housekeeper forgot to provide towels, so I called reception to request some. But after a long wait, no one brought them up, so my partner had to go down to get them himself. The towels for the second night also had a musty smell. The swimming pool and gym were pretty decent for the price. I booked a room with breakfast, and the breakfast was fine. The staff at the restaurant provided excellent service; they were very cheerful, especially a female staff member who took great care of us, and the male staff member who drove us to the main road was also very helpful. Overall, it was quite okay, but I have to deduct points for the cleanliness of the bathroom, as it seemed the housekeeper hadn't cleaned the walls at all.
