They were constructed based on Buddhist beliefs, symbolizing Dharma protectors who safeguard the world and the virtuous. Representing the celestial beings of Wat Arun, they are the lords of spirits and demons, feared by all supernatural entities.

Large department stores open in Bangkok every now and then. At the beginning of the year, everyone was going crazy for Bangkok One, and recently, crowds have flocked to nearby Dusit Central Park. This department store, which just opened in September, has become a hot topic on Instagram recently with its rooftop gardens on the 5th and 6th floors. Located in the bustling area of Silom Road and Rama IV Road, and next to Lumpinee Park, the rooftop gardens are like a secret garden in the city, offering lush greenery and stunning views of the Bangkok skyline.

The Z-shaped walkway features a wooden circular viewing platform and a pool, perfect for capturing reflections of the skyline.

Another must-see photo opportunity is the escalator. Its liver-red interior, paired with white lighting, creates a beautiful geometric interplay, resembling a ballet tutu—truly captivating. It's recommended to take photos from the first and second floors to capture the full panorama.

Another must-visit spot is the department store, which boasts 17 Michelin-recommended restaurants and eateries from across Thailand. The LG and G floors are already quite extensive, and the fifth floor features popular Japanese restaurants like Gokumi-ya, Wanrou-mee, and Midoriri, demonstrating the store's strong focus on attracting crowds through its food offerings and its impressive marketing strategy.

📍Address: 946 Rama IV Rd, Si Lom, Bang Rak, Bangkok 10500, Thailand

🚗3-5 minute walk from MRT Silom Station Exit 2 or BTS Sala Daeng Station Exit 5

📌The Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew) in Bangkok is the crown jewel of the Royal Palace, the personal temple of the King and members of the royal family. All religious rites are performed here, and only royalty is permitted to enter through the main doors. The golden pagodas and gilded palaces are truly impressive. Admission is 500 baht for adults. Children under 120 cm are free, and children taller are 250 baht. Audio guide rentals are 200 baht, and guide services are 800 baht. I highly recommend taking a tour, as exploring the palace complex without one is less enjoyable. A dress code is required within the temple complex: covered shoulders and arms up to the elbows, covered knees, and closed-toe shoes. These restrictions apply to both women and men.

📌If you want to take beautiful photos, I'll leave you with another location (photos 1, 15, and 16 were taken here). You can also arrange with a photographer who knows the best poses for photos and rent a beautiful Thai outfit right there.

The hotel is located on one of the side streets within the bar street of Asok station, the location is not too ideal, but nearby bar massage parlors and convenience stores can be found everywhere. The hotel has its own Tuk Tuk to transport passengers to the nearby Asok station. This hotel was just renovated in 2025, the hotel rooms are not fully occupied, maybe because too new, sprinkler shop has a lot to improve, such as our room forgot to put back one of the coffee cups and toilet toilet paper after using up forgot to add, swimming pool and Gym room located on the 6th floor.

The room is very spacious, enough to hold two 28-inch leather trunks and plenty of space to walk to, the terrace view is not very good, but can also be used to dry clothes

[2019-2025⭐️ Bib Gourmand ⭐️ Famous Restaurant ❣️]

The tongue stew was so delicious!❣️
I ordered shrimp wontons!❣️
The shrimp were so tender!❣️

Wow! They also have clean restrooms, so this restaurant is recommended even for those unfamiliar with local restaurants!😍❣️

Are you eating at night markets or food courts just because they're cheap?
That's a bit of a waste!!!
Those places are satisfying, but this restaurant is truly amazing!❣️
I can't wait to go back!❣️

It's only a five-minute taxi ride from the tourist attraction, Wat Phra Kaew, so I highly recommend it!❤️

There's also a Michelin-starred sweets shop nearby, so we'll introduce it in [Michelin #2]!😍!!

Eating Japanese food in Bangkok can be so surprising! This time I found a super characteristic Japanese buffet restaurant, salmon caviar all you can eat, ready-to-order sushi, sashimi fresh to burst! Perfect for those of you who want to eat Japanese food and have a relaxing lunch.

[Restaurant Information]
Restaurant name: Sakana Japanese Buffet
Address: Sukhumvit Soi 24, Bangkok
Signature dishes: salmon caviar sushi, sashimi platter, freshly made hand rolls
Environment: The restaurant is beautifully decorated, clean and spacious, with cold plates, grilled items, desserts, comfortable seating, suitable for a group of friends or family gatherings
Business Hours: 12:00 AM - 10:00 PM
Price: The buffet starts from about THB 799 per person, depending on the time slot and number of people

[Food Highlights]
The salmon caviar is really not soft, you can add as you like, the sashimi is freshly delivered every day, large pieces, thick cut and melt in your mouth, sushi is made to order, real ingredients. The dessert area also has many specialty wagashi and matcha ice cream. There are many kinds of aquatic products, shrimp, squid, and octopus are all fresh.

[Reflections]
Salmon caviar lovers must come. You are not afraid of eating. The seafood alone will pay off! Desserts and grilled food are of good quality, basically nothing. The service staff are very courteous.

[Itinerary Tips]
It is recommended to book in advance or go early, more options for dinner so it is very popular. The restaurant is conveniently located near BTS Phrom Phong station.

Room facilities need attention, and there is room for improvement in electricity and internet services.

Overall, the stay was relatively smooth, and there were no issues during check-in. However, I later discovered that the washing machine and water heater in the room could not be used simultaneously, as it would cause a power outage. I reported this to the hotel and inquired about changing rooms, but there were no suitable room types available. As a result, I had to stagger the usage times, separating laundry and showering, which was slightly inconvenient.

Additionally, when checking other rooms, I noticed that some duplex rooms on the second floor lacked partitions. For family trips or those traveling with children, it is recommended to confirm the room type in advance.

The hotel's internet quality was quite poor. Although I could connect to the Wi-Fi, there was virtually no speed, and I had to rely on my own mobile data for most of the trip.

Overall, the accommodation environment was acceptable, but the electrical setup and internet quality need improvement.
