The experience was great from the beginning when I notified my late check in due to my flight arriving almost at midnight. I know that the booking has to be respected by the hotel, but incredibly some don't do it. The hotel is 50 min from KL international airport, you can use Grab app to get a taxi and pay in cash if you can't link your card to it, that would be about 80 RM + the toll fees, that would make it around 20 usd. The staff at the front desk was so kind during check-in and check-out. I read some reviews about the construction site beside the hotel and the cemetery that is around the hotel. As for the cemetery, it is just part of the landscape, and honestly it is a good story to tell your friends about, I understand how those places are much older than modern constructions. Regarding the construction site, if you are too sensitive to noise, it might be a little annoying if your room is on that side of the hotel, maybe you can arrange the hotel to change you to the other wing. The neighborhood is busy since it is about 300m from KLCC park so it might be a little noisy during the night. The overall hygene of the room was great except that the kettle in my room still had some water. Nothing that can't be solved by washing it. There were two glass bottles that can be refilled in the filter by the elevator. I really appreciate that they stop using bottled water and reduce plastic waste. Breakfast had a lot of variety including western food, Malayan and some Chinese. I used the gym for one day because I was stuck due to heavy rain, it has a couple of treadmills, bikes, escalator and some machines, not too big, but comfortable to do some strength work. The location is great to walk to KLCC and from a couple of meters from the hotel you can take great pictures of the Petronas. About 45-50 min walking distance of central market to buy nice souvenirs, the national mosque and the national museum. 40 min taxi trip to the Batu caves, go early (8 am) because it might be a quite busy place to get to. I enjoyed my stay and definitely I would pick it again if I come back to KL, definitely recommended 9/10.

Very good location, around 5min walk to the bus area of Bukit Bintang. I would like to commend the staff for assisting when the lock on the door suddenly lost battery power. It was immediately replaced. Only thing to improve on is the variety of breakfast spread. I would assume this is to accommodate the many restrictions of people from different countries. I do not have MYR in cash when we checked in but the receptionist accepted my SGD since there is no ATM nearby afaik. Thank you for accommodating. Overall a wonderful stay.

Nice hotel. Beautiful clean and spacious room. The hotel was almost perfect. Just two minor details were a pity. The elevators were very slow. Waiting for them made us lose a lot of time. The gym was small and there were not enough powerlifting or benches to do exercises (actually had a queue waiting for exercise spots). We do recommend this hotel for the spot and room.

The hotel gave us a very welcoming feeling upon arrival. The room was clean and comfortable — not too big, but not too small either, just nice for a short stay. Breakfast, however, had limited options; it would’ve been nicer to have more variety. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but there’s definitely room for improvement on the breakfast spread.

I stayed at Oasia Suites from 25th to 28th. I arrived around 12 PM, but since check-in is at 3 PM, I requested early check-in. They allowed it but charged 200 RM, which I paid. Unfortunately, no staff assisted me on the way to the room. After one day, I found water leaking in both rooms from the AC units, which was very disappointing given the price. Service cleaned it up, but it shouldn’t have happened. The location is good, but the breakfast was average—about 40 RM, with limited food and variety. Overall, not a satisfying experience for the cost.

Excellent Stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur Hilton brand has always been my preferred choice for work trips in Kuala Lumpur — whether it’s Hilton KL, DoubleTree, or Hilton Garden Inn. I stayed in a King Room (no view/partial view, with window). The room was spacious and comfortable, with the signature Hilton bed ensuring a restful sleep. I also appreciated the pillow menu and the transparent bathroom with adjustable curtains. The air-conditioning worked perfectly, keeping the room pleasantly cool. However, the TV channels were limited to local stations and standard movie channels — it would be even better if the hotel upgraded to smart TVs for streaming convenience. Parking is complimentary and shared with Intermark Mall and office tenants. Valet parking is available at RM60. The lifts from the parking connect to the lobby, but hotel guests have dedicated lift access for security — a thoughtful feature. Special thanks to Ms. Sumaiyah for the smooth check-in process and for fulfilling my request for a complimentary birthday cake slice and a 1-hour late check-out. The bellman was friendly and punctual in handling my luggage — overall, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome and valued. Breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options. The saltwater pool (1.3m deep) and kids’ pool make this hotel a great choice for families as well. Being located within Intermark Mall adds convenience — guests have easy access to a variety of restaurants and cafés, both inside the hotel and within the mall, all at reasonable prices. The location is also strategic, with direct access to Jalan Tun Razak, KLCC, TRX, and nearby LRT/MRT stations, making it ideal for both business and leisure travelers. Overall, an excellent stay that truly reflects the warm Hilton hospitality standard. Highly recommended and will definitely return.

Check in process wasn’t smooth and the staff has taken longer time to locate my booking. Information on breakfast, carpark and wifi etc were not provided by front desk during check in. We were there to attend company event and understand from several colleagues that they have been waiting for rooms to be assigned for hours, even others who reached and checked in later gotten the rooms assigned first. Also, we have been assigned to a room which I believe belongs to another guest as the welcome card on the desk was addressed to another guest’s full name. Personally feel these should not happen in a five star hotel.

The hotel accomodate to my request for decoration perfectly! Thanks for that. The only complain i have, the parking is not free for hotel guest, it was on a flat rate of rm3.71. And the hotel lift was quite slow for a building that has so many floor, so you will end up waiting for a while everytime for the lift. Other than that, the room and toile was spacious. Location is both great and bad! Great because it’s surrounded by malls and shops - you’ll never run out of food and shopping options. So happening! Bad because of the traffic jam… getting to the hotel is so challenging! So near yet so far, especially the last 500m … The solution? Once you reach there - don’t drive out again till you check out. Second time staying here with our two kids (ages 7 & 3). The king-sized bed is perfect for families with young children, no need to book extra beds, as it’s spacious enough for all of us! The location is super convenient, within walking distance to KLCC. There’s a nearby food court, a mamak stall, and a 7E, so everything you need is just around the corner. But, the cleanliness could be improved. We found a baby cockroach in the bathroom, which was a bit disappointing. The hotel is quite old, so hygiene might be an issue in some parts. That said, the mattress and carpet were in decent condition and felt clean and comfortable. Overall, it’s a good choice to stay at the central of KL.

I’d like to share my heartfelt thanks to two wonderful team members at the Shangri-La Club Lounge — Kelly and Aliff. Kelly was incredibly helpful and welcoming from the very beginning, making my check-in smooth and stress-free. She also looked after me during my Day 2 evening cocktail and canapés, making sure everything went perfectly. Her warmth and attentiveness really made me feel at home. I also want to thank Aliff for his kindness. I mentioned how much I enjoyed the little French jam bottles, and he thoughtfully offered me the Bonne Maman Apricot Preserve and Strawberry Preserve to bring home for my mum to enjoy. That small but meaningful gesture touched me deeply and made my experience extra special. Both Kelly and Aliff truly went above and beyond, and they made my stay at Shangri-La unforgettable. it was a really good room with all the easy access like filter water, oven, iron and many more amenities and big spaces. I booked due to my wedding was near the hall, really recommended since their service also fast and so helpful..

Unforgettable Service at Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur I’ve stayed at several 5-star hotels before, but the service at Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur really stands out. Right from the start, Farhana at reception made me feel genuinely welcomed. She was warm, professional, and so friendly—it felt like I was being greeted by someone who truly cared. Although I had a small issue with my room (which was resolved by someone else), Farhana’s kindness and the way she carried herself made the issue feel minor. Her presence and the great first impression she gave really set the tone for my entire stay. At the restaurant, Raynalin and Halim were equally amazing. They were attentive without being intrusive, always checking in at just the right time and offering thoughtful recommendations. I felt so well taken care of—like they really wanted me to enjoy my meal and have a peaceful experience. I also noticed how consistent and gracious they were with every guest, which says a lot about the service culture at this hotel. The people here are what make Banyan Tree KL truly special. Farhana, Raynalin, and Halim—thank you for making my stay so memorable. I’ll definitely be coming back.

We had a wonderful stay. The hotel was very clean, the location was perfect and close to everything, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, always making us feel welcome. The service was excellent throughout our stay. The only small point was that the amenities could be improved a little, but overall it was a very comfortable and enjoyable experience. Highly recommended for couples looking for a relaxing getaway.

the room is big and spacious enough for a family of 4. For the price wise, I think the location & amenities provided is good enough. However, I wouldn't say the cleanliness is top-notch. If you are not particular with a little bit of stains, etc, it's a good deal.

Another satisfying night at MoMo's. Great location mear Monorail covered walkway.. Grab or Bolt drop off/pickup at approved delivery area for Hotel chow kit next door on Jalan sultan ismail. Only thing lacking for us was the draft beer on tap they had on our last trip. Perhaps it will return next time.
