Everything provided in the room are ok n function well, hotel is clean. However the road that leads to the hotel is badly dirtied by the construction site which is just in front of the hotel, n the much taller under construction building is blocking the view from this hotel.

Check-in: Check in was smooth albeit a little slow. Probably the slowest check-in among all hotels I’ve been too. Not sure why he needed so much time to check the Trip.com documents and register me. Room: The rooms are located in a separate building next to the lobby building. After checking-in, you will have to walk out of the lobby and turn right towards the residential building and car park. Cleanliness: Honestly, for a hotel with such great reviews I wonder why the “Executive 2 bedroom residence” is not well maintained. Cupboards all have stains and scratches. The windows are extremely filthy. They don’t seem to clean the windows so it’s full of bird droppings and some other stains, blurring and marring the otherwise beautiful view outside. When I entered the room, there were 2 bigass mosquitoes the size of my thumb (like Taiwan Jiufen/Shifen size mozzies) dead on the bedsheet and 2 on the window sill. Absolutely horrifying and disgusting. Amenities: They have a list of amenities they claim to provide in the room and if any goes missing, you’re liable to pay for them. But here’s the catch, most amenities are not actually in the room and are only provided upon request, such as bathrobes. So make sure you check what you have and what you don’t to avoid any possibility of being scammed Hairdryer’s button is loose and dead so the hairdryer turns on but you’re stuck on that high heat setting forever~ There is a kitchenette and a huge fridge but there are NO UTENSILS and NO CROCKERY and NO COOKWARE. You literally just have an induction stove but can’t do anything since no pots and pans provided. The kettle is also sus looking so don’t use. Should buy a travel kettle. Breakfast: Breakfast buffet was lovely. The spread was quite substantial and the food was not bad especially the nasi lemak. So sedap. BUT coffee and tea was horrid. They don’t have coffee machine for latte/cappuccino so you’re stuck with poor grade kopi-O kosong and teh-O kosong. Sugar and creamer packets are provided tho. Soft-boiled eggs were my go-to during my stay there haha. Their soft-boiled eggs are as good as yakun. Do note however that when heading for the breakfast buffet every morning, you will have to first go to the lobby building to take that lift to the cafe. BUT THE LOBBY REAKS OF PUBLIC TOILET SMELL AND GARBAGE DISPOSAL SMELL from the early morning. They literally have no air freshener in their lobby so be prepared to hold your breath every morning like I did when you pass by the lobby to the cafe for breakfast. Seriously stinks and makes me queasy before and after breakfast. I don’t think an air freshener is expensive SO INVEST IN ONE FOR GOD’S SAKE OH MY GOD. Others: There is a cafe/restaurant right downstairs the hotel called Gravity Cafe. Friendly warning don’t. Just Don’t. I’ve tried and tested. It’s a scam. A very big scam. RM119 for ONE Häagen-Daz size container of Tom yum soup with half a whole squid, 2 prawns and 2 mussels. The rest of the container is just maggie mee. A lot of maggie mee to make up for the claim of “serves 2”. RM5 for 1 serving of white rice was a shock to me. We ordered 2 sets of the Tom yum soup (which is supposed to serve 4 ppl) and 3 plain white rice for RM265.50 including room service delivery fee. Jokes on us. Overall: Good to try for once. Won’t come back again 👍🏻

Luxurious Hotel on the top of the mountain. Absolutely glorious. The most attentive friendly staff ever experienced. Cleanest well appointed rooms. After a day of enjoying the theme park, shopping centre and ******, we stayed in our room the next day to enjoy the splendor of the amenities and the wonderful view over the valley below.

Overall, i'm satisfied during the 1 night stay there. Booking the tower 1 room does give an advantage where the car park is the same level as the room. So convenient for family with kids. Halal food is nearby, got food court with a variety of nice food. Surrounded by a lot of convenient shop like 7e, KK, etc. The only downside is, you can't go to the other level without using the elevator at tower 2. Stairs is no accessable.

Pros Hotel is great for families. We booked the sixer room as the quad room has been reviewed by other guests that it is far away from lobby. Our sixer room was just above the lobby at level 2. Space was enough for our family of 5 with toddler and we had a connecting room. Our room had a bunk bed. So in total there were 3 queen beds. 2 beds on the bottom and 1 on the bunk bed. Location wise is very convenient as the theme parks, restaurants and supermarket is just right in front of the hotel. There is also a small playground for kids at the lobby reception. Cons The bathroom has a separate cubicle for toilet and shower. But the bathroom has no door! You would have to change your clothes in the shower cubicle. I have never stayed in a hotel where the bathroom has no door, so if you are staying with a big group just be prepared😊 Room has no fan but it is cold outside so not a problem for us during our stay. Breakfast buffet location is not in the hotel. It is in the indoor themepark premise so you need to walk 10-15 minutes for breakfast. Otherwise great stay for families and reasonable price too if you are sharing.

The room has a very nice cloud view! Wifi signal in the room are strong, the room is clean and comfortable to stay :) However, the check-in process was not very pleasant as we have trouble using the self-check in machine as Trip.com has submitted my name details to the hotel with additional spacing within my name and the system could not recognise. Other than this, the rest was awesome! 😎👍

The hotel looked new and the room was clean. The problems were the connecting room was not sound proof and the toilet has no lock. Can hear the next door guests watching TV and talking in normal volume. The plus things are the facilities like swimming pool, kids playground and common areas are well kept. The breakfast buffet spread was amazing and the confectionery like croissant and pan au chocolat are very delicious. However, the queue to enter the restaurant for breakfast was very long between 8.30-9.00am Suggest the restaurant to add more seatings to save guest's time. The ala carte dishes for dinner were ok. The lasagne was not delicious. The char kue tiao and chicken burger were much better. The vietnamese noodle was too gingery, not so nice. For the price, room, facilities and breakfast, it is very worth it. Most likely will come back again.

The resort looks neat and beautiful where is surrounded by vegetation. When the first time we drive to this resort, we were scared of where is quite an outskirt location. But not too bad is not that deep into drive-in is just about 5 min from that small little town. In fact, is a really convenient location which near to those shops from the little town They take the SOP seriously where they did maintain the social distancing, scan our My Sejahtera apps, and provide us the hand sanitizer. We were greeted by the guard who are very friendly and dedicated. The room in GRV was the great one, very huge like a suite room with wide space, beautiful view and the shower heater was working perfectly with high pressure. The receptionist by the name of Fazila (who work in this property for 3 years plus) who handle our check-in and check-out process was efficient with a courtesy maner and helpful. We will never forget of Fazila's hospitality that she demonstrated. Keep up the good work Fazila and her team.

Big apartment, nice rooms, free snacks, spacious toilet, many channels on the TV. The staff also WhatsApps you instructions and offers you almost instant help when you need it. I find this a lot more helpful than a phone or a concierge at the lobby. I can even send pictures and ask for help. My only complain is the lift that goes up, it's a high rise, but only four lifts and they are more often than enough fully loaded. You also need to take 2 lifts, because you have to transfer at L6. Other than the lift, everything is really perfect.

Bathrooms are large with seperate shower with rain shower and includes all toiletries. Good location, surrounded be restaurants and food places are in less than a minutes walk. Mall and cable car station just 10 minutes drive by car. Booked room only, so next day had to pay for breakfast and noticed it was a bit pricey. Formerly called - Maxims Hotel, and now renamed to Highlands Hotel. I revisit this property (as no much choice left for 4-5 star hotels in Resorts World Genting, at this point of time), and what does impressed me is the check-in process. I remembered previous check in usually took long and not well organized, front desk staffs not attentive, kind of messy but this time, they impressed me. When I reached the lobby, I was greeted by a front desk staff, escorted you to the sitting areas meanwhile prepare the check in procedures. The staffs are more attentive to guests arrival experience now and you can never felt being left out (like last time). While room is well maintained, clean, and welcome fruits and mask provided too (last time no welcome fruits though!) Overall, service quality is improved and keep it up, Highlands Hotel.

But it was sadly when i stay there was big raining all night and morning so all foggy and i cany see the nuce few there, otherwise its wonderfull view if there was no rain. We truly enjoyed the onsen session especially the Sakura Pool which was a piece of fine art. The uniqueness of the pool increased the pleasure of soaking in the hot water on a cold evening. The other pools were also unique, 1 with nano bubble which we were told was imported from Japan. After soaking, it made our skin smoother. We also enjoyed the other pool near the window which was with the highest temperature. With the cold breezy wind coming in from the window it made us felt so relax and comfortable. Overall, the hotel offered great service. Thanks to their dedicated guests officers. We also had a good sleep on the comfortable bed. The room & toilet are clean. If you are going to book rooms at Midhills, remember to bring your slippers and toiletries because they don't provide that stuff. It's quite far from Genting Highlands and markets. I suggest you bring everything you need like food, drinks and snacks before you check in. The lights are grounded the reason when you turn it on, there will be a sparkling sound. There is also no cable on TV. The Aircon is not cooling. The smell of the room is some kind of weird.
