How to go to Legoland Malaysia?
The address for Legoland Malaysia is 7, Persiaran Medini Utara 3, 79100 Iskandar Puteri, Johor, Malaysia. Here are the detailed ways to go to Legoland Malaysia.
By private car
The most convenient way to travel from Singapore to Legoland Malaysia is to book a private car! The private car will first pick you up from your address in Singapore. For groups travelling in sedans or smaller cars, your driver will be able to drive you across the borders. This means that you won’t need to alight from your car.
Instead, you will be seated in your car while your passports are being stamped at Singapore customs and Malaysia customs. Hence, travelling in a private car is highly recommended for families with young children.
However, for larger groups travelling in minivans or buses, you will need to alight from your bus at Singapore customs as well as Malaysian customs to clear immigration.
The driving distance from the Tuas Checkpoint on the western end of Singapore to Legoland Malaysia is about 19 km, and the journey will take about 25 minutes by car. Private car direct transfers from Singapore to Legoland Malaysia start from S$100.
By bus
Travellers who wish to take public transport will need to head to Jurong East Bus Interchange or Boon Lay MRT Station on the western end of Singapore. If you’re at Jurong East Bus Interchange, please board the CW3 or CW4 bus to go to Tuas Checkpoint. If you’re at Boon Lay MRT Station, please board the CW6 bus to go to Tuas Checkpoint.
When you’re at Tuas Checkpoint, please clear immigration at the Singapore customs. Afterwards, please head to the bus bay to board a public bus to cross the Second Link Bridge. When you’ve crossed the bridge, please alight from the bus and head to CIQ 2nd Link to clear the Malaysian customs. From here, travellers can board the Causeway Link CW7L, JPO2 or SL1(available on Saturday, Sunday and Singapore public holidays) to go to the Mall of Medini. This mall is located just 750 metres away from Legoland Malaysia’s entrance.
Travellers who are based in the northern regions of Singapore may prefer to cross the borders at the Causeway instead. However, Legoland Malaysia is closer to the Tuas Checkpoint than the Causeway. Please note that taking public transport can be time-consuming, and it is not recommended for day trips to Legoland Malaysia or for travellers who wish to reach Legoland Malaysia in the morning.
By express bus
Are you looking for a good balance between budget and convenience? Express buses may be the solution for you! In Singapore, you can find different bus vendors departing from various points such as the Singapore Flyer, Golden Mile Tower and Boon Lay. When you take express buses, you won’t need to worry about losing your way as the same bus will bring you directly to Legoland Malaysia.
Please note that travellers on board express buses will still need to alight at Singapore customs and Malaysia customs to clear immigration. Express Bus fares cost approximately S$10 to S$13 one-way depending on your departure point.
