We chose this hotel again for our return trip, this time opting for a twin room. The previous king-size bed had a very soft mattress; it would wobble with the slightest movement from the person next to us. Light sleepers should be cautious when choosing a king-size bed. The single bed was a rare find here, measuring 1.2 meters, and quite comfortable. The only drawback was that there was only one power outlet between the two beds (unlike the king-size room which had one on each side of the bed), but there were four USB ports for charging, which was a bit slow but still usable. There were quite a few Chinese guests, and the restaurant provided disposable chopsticks 😂, as well as a variety of teas to choose from (not tea bags). The fried eggs, though slow, were presented with a very elegant presentation 😄.

A taxi to the hotel was already 6:30 pm. There was no waiter reception at the entrance, and a few luggage was pushed by themselves. Arrived on the floor, no lights were on, very dim. The room is OK, in fact, it is an executive suite, it is a bit too much to call a presidential suite. The living room and bathroom have heating, the room is not open, you have to open it yourself.

Personally, I think this hotel is the best choice in Irkutsk. The bedding is very new and comfortable and I can sleep well. However, it is recommended to book a room with more than 500 yuan. When you check in with more than 400 yuan, the room you will be given is different from the room with more than 500 yuan. The difference is that the room area of ​​more than 500 yuan is larger and the view outside the window is better. To be honest, it’s not even less than a hundred yuan.

The hotel is very new, with modern design in both the public areas and the rooms. The bathroom is small, but overall clean and hygienic. The king-size bed I booked was huge, and the room even had a large color TV, a rare find in Russia. The view from the hotel window is as shown in the picture, and it's also stunning. There's a large supermarket just a 10-minute walk from the hotel, across the street from the hotel, with a burger restaurant inside, making it convenient for dining.

The environment is still OK, the service front desk is OK, no one can speak English, I hope to extend the check-out time to call the front desk twice and hang up the phone, and then a fierce man knocked on the door and took a piece of paper and wrote 12 o'clock. Останавливались дважды (06.10.2025 и 17.10.2025) . Прекрасное расположение-близко к Аэропорту и нет шума от дороги. Замечательный , отзывчивый персонал- начиная с ресепшн, заканчивая доставкой в номер из ресторана. Завтраки замечательные, в уютном ресторане. Еда в ресторане Охотников -отдельная история! Огромные порции, вкусная еда..и , для особенно привередливых, маленьких гостей приготовят и кашу и пюре с салатиком🙏Очень признательна персоналу! Любая просьба по звонку на ресепшн выполняется мгновенно, без долгих ожиданий - и со стороны горничной и с ресторана. Спасибо за Ваш труд! Больше не буду искать другие варианты, останавливаться будем только в Звезде🫶🏻

The hotel has a great location, next to a large shopping mall with gas, a bank that accepts UnionPay cards for rubles, and various restaurants and fast food options. There are also many bus stations nearby. The hotel receptionist was very nice. Although the hotel is a bit old, it's very clean, and the bathrooms are large and spotless. I highly recommend it. The decor is in a luxurious European Rococo style.

The hotel is simply superb. And the administrator, Andrey, is beyond praise. He met us, saw us off, helped with our luggage, helped with the taxi, and helped with it. He's a very valuable employee. We need more attentive young people like him. The breakfast is delicious; the cherry dumplings are a real highlight of the hotel. We slept well after our journey. Very well. The hotel is quiet. The air is fresh and easy to breathe. And the church bells ringing in the evening are absolutely amazing. If you're inside, you really feel like you're in a merchant's yard, which lives up to the name. It's like being in a movie. And the paintings in the hotel are works of art. We'll definitely buy some for home next time. We'll be back, and we'll be back again.

Excellent breakfasts (buffet) for 750 rubles per person. The standard room is a bit cramped for two. The stated bottle of water, toothpaste, and comb were not there. There is a water cooler on the floor, you can order food from the restaurant to your room, it will be delivered to your room for +10% on your check. There were no face towels, there were disposable slippers, a safe, and a small refrigerator. Comfortable bed, room has different pillows to choose from

Very comfortable hotel, the decoration is very retro, the breakfast is delicious, no matter when there is a lounge area on the first floor for you to drink tea and coffee for free, there will be small cakes and breads when there are not many people. The coffee is super delicious and the small cakes are beautiful. The location is not far from the central government, and you can avoid it in a quiet street, which is perfect. I didn't hesitate to choose this hotel twice.
