4-Star Hotels in Irkutsk, Russia

Formerly the Courtyard by Marriott, the facilities are still very good. It's also quite close to the airport, arriving in just half an hour at night. The area is a bit deserted. I heard there's a bus stop nearby, but I didn't go. Overall, the experience was great, and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

A taxi to the hotel was already 6:30 pm. There was no waiter reception at the entrance, and a few luggage was pushed by themselves. Arrived on the floor, no lights were on, very dim. The room is OK, in fact, it is an executive suite, it is a bit too much to call a presidential suite. The living room and bathroom have heating, the room is not open, you have to open it yourself.

This is not the first time I have had to stay at this hotel and I can already understand some difference between the rooms that the hotel provides for the same price. A standard room with a double bed can be either large and dark, or small, as in the photo, but with a window that provides decent light. On the plus side, I would like to note the friendliness of the girl at the reception. She helped me return things that I forgot in the room last time, and arranged for breakfast to be taken with me. True, for some reason I was asked to go downstairs to the reception desk to pick it up, and then go all the way upstairs so that it would eventually be delivered to my room late. My advice: NEVER take breakfast with you. They brought me absolutely nothing from the buffet; breakfast looked more like dull, tasteless sandwiches made from what they serve on the plane. And it cost 1000 rubles. And no coffee. This is how the pros turned into cons. The last biggest negative is that the room had an internal double door that led to the next room. In which they had sex all night, judging by the participants in a porn film called “who wins.” It sounded like they were doing it in my bed. When checking in, I advise you to immediately ask for a room without an internal door and with soundproofing.

I was initially going to give it four stars… but when we checked in, we had an 8-year-old child with us, and the handsome young man at the front desk said it would cost extra. I argued that we didn't need an extra bed, and that I had brought my own toiletries for the child, and he still made the exception! So, I'll still give it five stars! The front desk staff were all incredibly attractive! And their English was the best we've heard since arriving from Lake Baikal! They probably cater to Chinese customers a lot, as the restaurant even has a Chinese menu! The rooms were exactly as described on the platform! They even provided complimentary snacks in the evening, but they were too sweet for us. The location was also great, about 2km from everywhere! However, Iraq isn't very big. The only downside was the Wi-Fi – it was a bit weak, not even as good as the signal at our hotel in Lake Baikal! Haha! I highly recommend the venison restaurant in the last picture! The venison was incredibly delicious! Great value for money! Don't buy the fish in Ryukyu… it was awful…

Останавливались дважды (06.10.2025 и 17.10.2025) . Прекрасное расположение-близко к Аэропорту и нет шума от дороги. Замечательный , отзывчивый персонал- начиная с ресепшн, заканчивая доставкой в номер из ресторана. Завтраки замечательные, в уютном ресторане. Еда в ресторане Охотников -отдельная история! Огромные порции, вкусная еда..и , для особенно привередливых, маленьких гостей приготовят и кашу и пюре с салатиком🙏Очень признательна персоналу! Любая просьба по звонку на ресепшн выполняется мгновенно, без долгих ожиданий - и со стороны горничной и с ресторана. Спасибо за Ваш труд! Больше не буду искать другие варианты, останавливаться будем только в Звезде🫶🏻

Неоднозначное место. С одной стороны все помпезно, с другой стороны, многое требует ремонта или замены: матрасы, сантехника и т п. В ванной джакузи со следами ремонта и было откровенно брезгливо в ней принимать даже душ. Какое-то все уставшее. Белье чистое, халаты, тапочки, все хорошее. В номере прохладно зимой, стоят дополнительные радиаторы. Завтрак хороший

The hotel is simply superb. And the administrator, Andrey, is beyond praise. He met us, saw us off, helped with our luggage, helped with the taxi, and helped with it. He's a very valuable employee. We need more attentive young people like him. The breakfast is delicious; the cherry dumplings are a real highlight of the hotel. We slept well after our journey. Very well. The hotel is quiet. The air is fresh and easy to breathe. And the church bells ringing in the evening are absolutely amazing. If you're inside, you really feel like you're in a merchant's yard, which lives up to the name. It's like being in a movie. And the paintings in the hotel are works of art. We'll definitely buy some for home next time. We'll be back, and we'll be back again.

Luggage storage is free. The staff can speak English and there is an elevator.

For exploring the city, it is located close to all key places, but close to a public transport stop, while the hotel is located on a fairly quiet street, we did not feel any noise from the street. The water pressure and temperature are perfect. There were no problems with the plumbing, everything works perfectly. However, the temperature in the rooms is not high enough; we were cool when it was -27 outside. The beds are wide, mattresses and linen are of high quality. The sleep was comfortable. The room is equipped with a tea station and bottles of water. The hotel staff is friendly. Breakfast at the hotel, although it does not have a wide range of options, is still basic. The stay at the hotel was comfortable.
