We were very satisfied with our stay! The hotel is conveniently located with great nearby amenities, and transportation is extremely accessible. The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable, with plenty of space and complete amenities, making it a very relaxing place to stay.
The staff were friendly and professional, and we could truly feel their care and enthusiasm from check-in to check-out. Any questions or requests were handled promptly and efficiently.
The overall environment was quiet and comfortable, allowing us to rest well. This is definitely a hotel we would love to return to and highly recommend to anyone visiting the area for travel or business.
The room size is quite spacious for Japan; there's plenty of room for two 20-inch suitcases. Free toiletries are available on the first floor, including bath salts, face masks, facial cleanser, and lotion samples. The room also comes with a comfortable yukata. Breakfast is very generous, featuring local specialty Kougen milk (the hard-to-find glass bottle version), and the hotel's homemade grape-flavored milk jam is also worth a try. The hotel is connected to a convenience store on the first floor, and you can enter the hotel from Lawson using your room card (especially convenient on snowy days as the road facing the hotel's main entrance is less accessible than the convenience store's entrance). It's right opposite Morioka Station, and you can walk to Kaiun Bridge in a few minutes. From Kaiun Bridge, you get a superb view of Mount Iwate.
Overall, the room is standard in the typical Japanese hotel style. They provide an ergonomic pillow, but I didn’t like it very much. There was still some dust found around the headboard area.
The in-room safe was not working, and no water was provided. However, the location is good—not far from the station. Free sachet creams are available, and the price is reasonable. I would recommend staying here.
Overall very good place but a little difficult to find without maps because the sign on the front is not very big nor well lit. also the main entrance is not where you expect it but below ground level.
I had visited Momijikan on a day trip to the onsen before and loved it. This time, my boyfriend and I booked a great value room (randomly assigned) and were given a tatami room.
We got up early to see the sunrise over the snow-covered ground – the view was beautiful.
We asked the front desk to book a shuttle bus for the next day the night before, so we could go directly to JR Hanamaki Station after check-out – very convenient.
The breakfast selection was extensive and delicious – I highly recommend choosing a hotel with breakfast included when booking!
The hotel boasts an excellent location and is very easy to find! The triple room we were given was also quite spacious. The cleanliness was top-notch, and all the amenities were well-appointed. The lobby staff were incredibly friendly and courteous, always with a smile. It truly made for a great stay!
The service staff is very kind and friendly. Although they don't understand English, they will try their best to use the translation machine. The overall facilities in the store are good, the rooms are well maintained, the hot spring hotel is very good, the room is also large, and the sleep is comfortable
The hotel is conveniently located about a 15-minute walk from Morioka Station, but it can be a bit tiring to walk if you have a lot of luggage or luggage, or if it rains.
There are many 24-hour convenience stores, restaurants, and coffee shops nearby, making it very convenient.
As a major brand hotel, the facilities are a bit dated, but they are well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable stay.
For business travelers, the hotel offers great value for money when discounts are available, resulting in a high level of satisfaction.
On the downside, there are many bars and entertainment venues nearby, resulting in significant noise at night from drunken patrons.
This can make for a difficult night's sleep for business travelers who prefer a quiet environment.
The shower and toilet facilities are a bit dated, but the shower water pressure is good and well-maintained.
The service is outstanding since my first step into the hotel. The room is big like i can run around. Breakfast is great. Plenty of good food served as japanese set. Onsen is really comfortable. I went there in summer that there were not many tourists. So sometime, there was only me in the onsen. It was very quiet peaceful and relaxing
A mark for those who books for dinner excluded bundle. There are rarely any restaurant around. There is one in front of the street corner (5mins walk) but the opening time and date could not be expected. You can find something to eat from Family mart (20 mins walk).
I stayed in a moderate single room. It was beautifully renovated and very cute. It was directly connected to the station, so it was very convenient to be able to buy various souvenirs in the station building.

GGuest UserThe location is beautiful in the national park, and it is cool and comfortable to walk. The sea view room has a great view, and you can watch the sunrise from the bed. The outdoor hot spring pool is very comfortable, the customer service staff is kind and attentive, and the meals are plentiful and delicious.
GGuest UserI was delighted to have my meal overlooking the ski resort cable car; the breakfast and dinner selection was excellent and of high quality.
The room was spacious and roomy, making it easy to handle luggage.
The welcome drink area was incredibly thoughtful, offering a wide variety of choices. I highly recommend this hotel!
SStaliciousWe had a pleasant stay in general. However, room ceaning service needs to be improved. Our group of people have a few bad experiences.
1) after returning to room after the day, there was a used mask left in the bathroom. There’s also a day without providing onsen towels and we had to bring over the mid size ones
2) the door of my friend’s room remained open after the cleaning service (a 3M sticker with なすし2 sticked on wall). Glad there’s no missing items
3) another room, there was blood and urine stint left on the toilet cover!
I hope the hotel can take it seriously as it indeed ruins the brand of IHG and bad customer experience.

GGuest UserI stayed at Seiryu-kan for four days and three nights. From the first day I checked in to the last day I checked out, I received warm and thoughtful hospitality throughout. The three dinners were all different and very unique, with fresh ingredients and delicious flavors. The hotel, including the rooms and the onsen (hot spring), was extremely clean. They also offered red and white wine, coffee, soft drinks, and snacks in the lobby, making me feel very welcome. Therefore, I highly recommend this comfortable onsen ryokan, and I will definitely come back again if I have the chance.
