Good
MMeishiqushaishaitaiyangheyueliangExcellent location, right next to the scenic area entrance. The hotel is very large with many rooms and good facilities. However, the air conditioning was poor. We wanted to move rooms to be closer together, but there were no options available. After not moving, they provided a space heater, but it was still a bit cold at night. Breakfast was decent, though some of the hot dishes weren't heated sufficiently or at all, so they felt a bit cold. Everything else was great.
Grassland photo shoot experience (3 selected photos/room): We didn't get to enjoy this, and the front desk didn't mention it.

YYinxiaThis is my top hotel choice in Xinjiang, and it certainly didn't disappoint! The room was fully equipped, the bedding was comfortable, and the shower had great pressure and hot water – absolutely fantastic! The front desk staff were incredibly warm, polite, and caring, even proactively asking guests if they'd had dinner and offering a complimentary buffet dinner. This was so thoughtful! I was really touched because I was suffering a bit from altitude sickness that day and hadn't eaten dinner. Thank you for your service; it really helped ease my altitude sickness. Even though I only managed a little cereal and yogurt, it warmed my heart. Thank you! The hotel also has 10 washing machines and dryers, so there's almost no waiting to do laundry, which is very well organized and I'm extremely satisfied!
GGuest UserThe hotel is very close to the Kalajun entrance, about a 5-kilometer drive. Follow the navigation; the gravel road is narrow but don't hesitate. The moment you see the room, all your fatigue will melt away. The shower room and separate wet/dry bathroom are clean and hygienic, completely free from the inconveniences of staying in a tent camp. Lying on the bed, pull open the 360-degree curtains, and the surrounding scenery fills your view. Open the electric curtain on the dome, and you can see the sky. If you still have energy, before sunset, go for a one or two-hour horseback ride to enjoy the grassland sunset—it's incredibly pleasant. The hotel's service is very thoughtful and meticulous, and it has its own restaurant where you can order dinner, which tastes pretty good. Breakfast is a buffet and quite rich. The highlight, though, is the starry sky after dusk, which truly cures everything. To avoid light pollution, the hotel thoughtfully turns off the ambient lights. In the morning, open the curtains and you can watch the sunrise. This is a hotel that constantly provides pleasant surprises.
MMaidoumm^(oo)^Booked two rooms here. Originally, we planned to stay in Fuyun because we were going to Tianchi the next day. However, since we'd already made it all the way to Urumqi, we decided to stay for a night and explore. We booked this hotel last minute. It's very close to the Grand Bazaar, about an 8-10 minute walk, and the area around it is bustling with activity. Finding food is super convenient; there are restaurants and a small mall downstairs. The price was a bit on the higher side, but the great location makes up for it! It really depends on what you're looking for.
GGuest UserI highly recommend the Modern Four Seasons Hotel! The room was clean, tidy, and odor-free, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent – I slept soundly until morning. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and very efficient. The location is convenient. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit!
GGuest UserI think it's fantastic! I arrived in early June, and the front desk upgraded me to a suite for free, which was a wonderful surprise! I thoroughly checked the bathroom, and it was very clean. Consumables in the room, including drinks and nut snacks, were replenished promptly. I'll definitely come back again and highly recommend staying here.
EEulaverseBreakfast was sufficient and satisfying. It would be nice if they could also offer juice.
We made up our own room, but it was not properly cleaned at first—maybe because the hotel was fully booked. However, the cleaners were quite helpful and responsive when we asked for assistance.
They also have a laundry room, which was very convenient for families. I just wish they had a small playroom for kids, as that would make the stay even better for families with children.
GGuest UserSince it is a Mercure chain, the facilities and cleanliness were good, but the next morning, when I asked to call a taxi to go to the bus terminal, they pointed to a road with many taxis and told me to catch one myself, which was a bit awkward for a foreigner. Furthermore, it was different from Beijing time, so even though it was past 8 in the morning, I couldn't see the taxi, which made me feel a little anxious for a while... They lacked a proactive service mindset.
GGuest UserThe room was exactly as pictured, and the upgraded room type was even more spacious. It had a smart toilet, and the shower pressure was great with plenty of hot water. Even though the window faced the street, it wasn't noisy at all. After more than ten days of traveling in Xinjiang, I had long run out of my own lotion. Only three hotels on my trip provided lotion, so when I discovered this one did, I was genuinely thrilled! Finally, I could relieve the dryness and itchiness on my legs – huge praise for that! The front desk staff were all very friendly, and the breakfast was quite good too. Plus, they offer airport pick-up and drop-off, which is super convenient. While a taxi to the airport isn't expensive, having this service just feels incredibly thoughtful.

Outstanding
GGuest UserStaying at Atour during my trip was a fantastic experience! The location is superb, within walking distance to all the scenic spots, saving us the hassle of commuting. The overall ambiance is simple and fresh, offering a peaceful retreat despite being in a bustling area. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the bedding was soft and great for sleeping. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options, including hot dishes, pastries, and fruits, all of which tasted excellent. The service was attentive and thoughtful. It's incredibly good value for money, and I'll definitely choose this place again next time!
