The service was absolutely fantastic, truly top-notch. The breakfast spread was extensive with a great variety of dishes, and everything tasted delicious. The hotel itself is brand new, with modern and smart facilities, and it was impeccably clean. We received a welcome drink, a souvenir, and even some complimentary coffee. The rooftop view is simply amazing, absolutely spectacular! Downstairs, there are plenty of dining options, all very convenient. We could easily walk to the Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, and Barkhor Street. The only minor downside is that the parking garage is a bit small, and you need to check in and get your room card before they'll open the gate for the parking lot. They do offer valet parking though, so you just leave your keys with the attendant. When we checked out, we saw that the attendant had parked our car in a really spacious spot. Overall, it was a wonderful stay! We'll definitely be back!
Taking advantage of the Qingming holiday, I came to Sosong Village to check in Nanga Bawa and encountered the only hotel with dozens of acres of viewing camps. The price was also very conscience.
”Jixianshan” equipment and facilities are complete, intelligent is relatively high, the front desk lady is also very awkward, sitting in the room or on the balcony can face Nanga Bawa, the experience is superb.
Location: Suosong Village Center, View C.
Camp: Sosong Village is a very few tens of acres of viewing camps, do not have to squeeze the viewing platform with people, in the camp can face Nanga Bawa and Doxiongla Mountain. Watching the snow-capped mountains, emptying yourself, taking pictures of the sunshine of Jinshan, the experience is full.
Room: The quiet wind is very tasteful, but what surprised me was the bedding grade. The fabric is delicate and the support is good. At high altitude, you can sleep out of the texture of the city's five-star hotel. Plus water heating + free oxygen supply, warm at night is not dry, and I am not afraid of high reaction.
Dining: The rooftop viewing restaurant and independent reception restaurant are very advanced, the dishes are exquisite, the taste is online, not a perfunctory ”scenic meal”. The roast yak beef is burnt and tender, with a full color and fragrance, especially recommended.
Service: The butler and clerk are warm and thoughtful, and live comfortably and at ease.
House price: In the peak tourist season, Suosong Village has seen the sky-high house price, which is the most reasonable price. The configuration is full, but the price is not increased randomly, which is really rare.
Summary: I have lived in all of them, and I have both the strength of the net red and the ability to truly ensure good service. If you go to Sosong Village for Nanga Bawa, this one is definitely worth a try.

The room offered complimentary diffused oxygen, and I could even use a nasal oxygen tube, which was a lifesaver during my first two days in Lhasa when altitude sickness was at its worst. The hotel's also conveniently located near the Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, and Barkhor Street, with plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Plus, the breakfast spread was really diverse.

This retro Tibetan-style hotel was a wonderful surprise! We stayed in the old building, right above the museum, so you really learn a lot just by being there. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. When we checked in, we were greeted with a Hada ceremony, and they even brought us free sweet tea when we were relaxing downstairs. They kindly helped us with our luggage too! They even prepared breakfast for us overnight because we had an early start. Honestly, the whole experience was fantastic!

I highly recommend the Dong Mawha Hotel! Its location is excellent, making it super convenient for getting around and finding places to eat. The room was spotless, free of any strange odors, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. The soundproofing was also fantastic. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and efficient with both check-in and check-out. The value for money here is simply amazing, I can't recommend it enough!
The thoughtful details really stood out: a Kung Fu tea set, an instant hot water dispenser, a washer-dryer combo, a Dyson hairdryer, and they even provided a weighing scale and bathrobes. It made for a truly comfortable and hassle-free stay. I fell in love with this hotel after just one visit and have already recommended it to my friends. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next trip!

The room was great, and the front desk even upgraded me for free! The location is also excellent, very close to the Potala Palace. All the rooms are smart, which is really convenient, and there's a mini-fridge. You can even see the Potala Palace from the window! The laundry room also has a dryer, which is fantastic. Overall, a superb experience, I'll definitely stay here again!

It's close to Guo Street, making transportation very convenient. The only downside is that the oxygen supply wasn't as good as I expected; I woke up in the middle of the night with a headache.

The hotel offers high-quality centralized diffused oxygen for 18 hours. The Thangka murals and frescoes are so well-maintained they look brand new, preserving a rich ethnic charm. The solid wood furniture and exquisite ******* decorations complement each other perfectly, showing meticulous attention to detail in every corner. The hotel is incredibly well-prepared for the plateau climate; not only do the rooms have 18-hour diffused oxygen, but also humidifiers and constant temperature underfloor heating. I didn't have to worry about altitude sickness or dryness at all, and I slept soundly every night in Lhasa.
The service was simply impeccable. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, offering thoughtful advice on high-altitude travel during check-in and serving warm Rhodiola tea. The hotel also provides a complimentary ******* clothing experience and professional photography service. In the charming Tibetan-style courtyard, every photo turns out like a masterpiece. On Tuesday afternoons, you can even join 'A-Jia' (******* elder sister) to experience making 'tsampa' (a ******* staple food), which is a truly memorable activity.

I was very satisfied with the hotel I saw on Xiaohongshu. The experience was 100 points. It was a very satisfying stay. The hotel is in a good location. The room is clean and sanitary. There are humidifiers and oxygen concentrators. The hotel decoration is grand. The combination of ******* and Chinese styles is very impressive. The lighting and ventilation are very good. The breakfast on the first floor is very rich. The sour soup rice noodles taste absolutely delicious. The staff is very enthusiastic and polite, especially Lulu at the front desk. Check-in is very professional and enthusiastic. Manager Fan of the travel agency on the first floor arranged a one-day tour of Yanghu Lake. The driver's skills are perfect and the arranged route is super awesome. It is a very cost-effective hotel. I strongly recommend it and will come again next time.

GGuest UserThe hotel is great! The restaurant offers direct views of the Potala Palace. The front desk staff and breakfast team were very helpful. Our room even had an oxygen concentrator and humidifier, and plenty of complimentary bottled water. The room itself was clean and tidy. We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Lhasa.

GGuest UserThe hotel isn't to far from the Portola Palace (a short taxi trip). I wouldn't say its a true 4 star hotel.
The room was a good size, quiet and didn't smell of cigarette smoke. The room was a little worn out; I couldn't get the TV to work, the mirror on the wet bar area was cracked, there were marks to the walls where paintings/pictures had once been. Most annoying was the shower cubicle and the shower over the bath had only cold water! On my last morning the power was off in my area of the hotel and the lift was not working due to the power outage.
The hotel staff do not speak English, but one lady working on reception was especially nice and helpful and we were able to communicate by using the translation app.
There are lots of restaurants near by, but next time I think I'd prefer to stay closer to the Portola Palace.
GGuest UserDiscover a hidden gem hotel at the foot of Mount Kailash! ✨ The environment is absolutely stunning, with a pristine starry sky overhead. The tranquility and healing atmosphere allow you to fully immerse yourself in the sacredness and grandeur of the holy mountain.
The facilities are superb. Rarely seen at this high altitude, the hotel is exceptionally clean and tidy. The rooms are warm and comfortable, with reliable oxygen, hot water, and heating. The bedding is soft, and toiletries are provided, ensuring a truly restful experience.
The service deserves special praise! The staff are warm and attentive, reminding you of altitude sickness precautions in advance, proactively helping with luggage, providing oxygen equipment, and always available when needed. They are incredibly attentive and considerate, like family.
Finding such a thoughtful hotel in such a place is such a delightful surprise! Highly recommended for anyone visiting Mount Kailash – a perfect stay!
GGuest UserFeitu: I stayed in the hotel for 7 days and was very satisfied with three things. The first was the service of Xiaochen, a girl from Sichuan. She always gave you the best service anytime and anywhere. If you were short of oxygen, you could ask her. If you wanted to change to a more satisfactory room, you could ask her. If you wanted water, slippers, or a toothbrush, you could ask her. Anyway, she would meet all your needs and make you feel at home. Before leaving, I couldn't help but give her a lamb 🐑 plush toy. I hope she likes it 💕. The second thing is that the hotel is very clean and tidy. The bathroom and the bed are separated, and the view is great. I was in a sunny mood every day. The third thing is that the breakfast at the hotel is delicious. There are not many varieties, but it is enough to meet all needs, especially the spicy rice noodles. I have to eat a bowl every day. I will come again next time~
GGuest UserI checked into the hotel on March 28th. I had severe altitude sickness. I saw a reminder on the Ctrip backend that the hotel would start supplying oxygen at 8pm, so I had to buy a few oxygen cylinders myself. There was a problem with the humidifier in the room. The room attendant came in without saying hello, just filled the humidifier with water and left. There was no minimum courtesy or kind reminder to customers about the instructions. There was no training or assessment on weekdays. At 8 o'clock, there was still no oxygen, and my oxygen cylinder had been used up. I called the front desk and she told me that the oxygen supply would start at 8:30. At 8:30, I called her again and she said the technician had gone to open it. At 8:33, she called again and asked me to wait. I arrived directly at 8:37. I questioned the front desk, but they still didn't feel uneasy. I went to the VIP building of Tibet Hotel as a person with altitude sickness. Many other hotels provide oxygen all day long, but they didn't provide oxygen from 8:30 pm to 7 am the next day, which is very unfriendly. I didn't expect that they didn't provide it during the time period and there was no apology. I had a severe headache from altitude sickness and found the front desk to question them. High-quality service should open oxygen for customers in advance and care about their physical condition. This front desk was arrogant and had no sympathy for the customers. Altitude sickness is very dangerous. I accepted such a cold and ruthless service experience of the VIP building of Tibet Hotel when I was extremely uncomfortable. I will never come again! !
