I'd highly recommend this hotel to everyone! It's easy to find and super convenient for food, drinks, and entertainment. I booked it for my friend, and they told me it was excellent – spacious, not cramped at all, and with great soundproofing, so they had a really peaceful night's sleep. The staff were warm and attentive, genuinely caring and thoughtful. Overall, the hotel is clean, comfortable, and very reasonably priced. It'll definitely be my top choice for every trip!

This hotel boasts an unbeatable location in Dandong! It's directly across from the Broken Bridge scenic area on the Yalu River, and you can step right out onto Jiangbin Road. Dining and shopping are incredibly convenient. The room even comes with binoculars, so you can gaze at Sinuiju across the river, and the Workers' Palace is right there too – perfect for striking a 'leader's speech' pose! 😉
Even though it's an older hotel, it still exudes luxury and attentive service. As expected from a Shangri-La hotel, the cleanliness is impeccable, and the atmosphere feels fresh and clean. The lady at the breakfast restaurant was very enthusiastic and helped recommend various must-see spots. The front desk staff were also very welcoming and friendly, and the complimentary welcome coffee☕ was a nice touch. I stayed for three nights, and the hotel's location is excellent – super convenient with subway access, high-speed rail connections, and various shopping areas right nearby.

Facilities: Good
The Shenyang Centre Hotel is conveniently located near Shenyang Middle Street, less than an 8-minute walk from the subway station. Downstairs, there are several snack streets worth checking out, including Laobian Dumpling. We stayed on the 26th floor, and our stay included breakfast and afternoon tea. Breakfast is served from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM, and afternoon tea is from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. The hotel also offers a self-service gym, a kids' club, and a laundry room. Room service can deliver food directly to your room. The staff's service attitude is excellent. The overall location is great for exploring. You can take the subway, a taxi, or even walk to places like the Forbidden City or other nearby attractions.

The front desk staff were very friendly, and the hotel's cleanliness was basic but acceptable for the price – no major issues that would prevent a five-star rating. However, there are a few things I need to mention.
On the first day of my stay, I requested two disposable razors. One of them was already opened, had no shaving cream inside, and the blade was even assembled. I'm not sure if it had been used before.
Also, the tissues by the bed in the room – I counted them, and only nine had been used before they ran out. The toilet paper in the bathroom was also a small roll when I checked in, and after just four uses, it was gone. It seems these consumables weren't replaced with every new guest. I also want to complain about how thin the bedside tissues are; they're about one-third the thickness of normal tissues and really poor quality – thin and easily fall apart.
Then, when checking in, I specifically said I didn't need housekeeping. Yet, at 10 AM the next morning, I was woken up by loud knocking. The cleaning lady said she was there to clean, which ruined any chance of sleeping in afterward.
Furthermore, the TV in the room was hit or miss. The first few times I tried to turn it on, the remote control didn't respond, and the set-top box flashed red, indicating a fault. Later, it suddenly started working, but only if you were very close to the TV; otherwise, the remote wouldn't respond.
Finally, there's the issue of sound insulation between rooms and the ceiling. The soundproofing isn't great; I could clearly hear conversations from the adjacent room and the upstairs guests. However, the window insulation is good – being double-paned, it blocked out most of the outside noise.

This hotel in Shenyang's Middle Street was a truly delightful surprise! Its location is absolutely superb, right on Dongshuncheng Street, adjacent to Exit A of Zhongjie Station on Metro Line 1, making travel incredibly convenient. Step out and you're directly on Zhongjie Pedestrian Street, with all sorts of food and shops readily available. You can even walk directly to the Imperial Palace and Zhangshi Ancestral Temple. The hotel's interior is elegant and tidy, and the rooms are spacious and airy. The cleanliness was impeccable, the bedding soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and check-in was super efficient. Overall, the stay was a perfect 10 – a must-choose for anyone visiting Shenyang!
I arrived at Shenyang Station at 6:30 AM, just as dawn was breaking, and I was starving. The breakfast options inside the station looked unappetizing, and there was nothing else nearby. I saw that a big hotel next door had breakfast, so I decided to roll my luggage over and check in. The front desk told me when breakfast started, so I went up to drop my bags in the room first. By the time I came back down, the buffet-style restaurant was just opening, and the food was excellent. After eating, I walked back to Shenyang Station, feeling energized and ready to catch my train. Coming straight here from the train station for breakfast and a stay was a fantastic decision.

The location is fantastic, making it incredibly convenient to get around. It's right next to the subway, which made traveling a breeze. The room's cleanliness was impeccable; the entire place was spotless with no odd smells. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, ensuring a wonderful night's sleep. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and check-in was very efficient. The breakfast had a rich variety, and the freshly made wontons were exceptionally delicious. The value for money is superb, and my stay was perfect. I'll definitely choose this place again for my next trip!
Overall, the stay exceeded my expectations! The hotel's general environment is quiet and elegant, and the room was spacious and airy with complete amenities. The staff were gentle and patient, and they responded promptly to any requests. The soundproofing was excellent; it wasn't noisy at all. Hot water for showering was consistently supplied, and the location is superb, making it very suitable for both business and leisure travel. Highly recommended!
This was a very satisfying stay! The hygiene details were incredibly well-controlled, with every corner tidied perfectly. The French pastries at breakfast were exquisite and delicious, and the overall ambiance was fantastic. The transportation is convenient, being close to the commercial district. The overall value for money far surpasses other hotels in the same category. I've already recommended it to friends and will continue to stay here on my next visit!

I drove to Zhongjie and saw this hotel had its own parking lot, so I booked a room after parking. The location is indeed excellent; Zhongjie Street is right downstairs, making it super convenient to get to Toutiao Hutong, and the Forbidden City is also very close. The subway station is right outside the hotel too. I was initially worried it might be noisy, but when I returned to the hotel around 11 PM after exploring, it was surprisingly quiet. The pillows were great – I slept really well!

My recent stay at this hotel completely exceeded my expectations. The entire experience was fantastic, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting for leisure or business!
Right from the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the thoughtful service. The doorman promptly helped with my luggage, and check-in at the front desk was very quick. The staff were gentle and patient, thoroughly explaining the hotel facilities, local transportation, and sightseeing tips. There was no perfunctory service at all, making me feel comfortable and welcome as soon as I walked in.
The guest room was spacious and bright, with excellent natural light and ventilation. The overall decor was simple, elegant, and stylish, impeccably clean. The bedding was soft and pleasant to the touch, offering perfect comfort for a full night's undisturbed sleep. The bathroom had an excellent wet/dry separation, and the toiletries were of high quality. Hot water came out quickly and with stable pressure – you could feel the attention to detail in every aspect.
The hotel's public areas were elegantly designed, with complete amenities. Breakfast offered a rich and diverse selection of both Chinese and Western dishes. The ingredients were fresh, and the taste was great, perfectly satisfying different dietary needs. The cleaning staff were meticulous and attentive, cleaning promptly and quietly without disturbing guests. Any requests made to the front desk were quickly responded to and resolved efficiently and courteously – their service efficiency and attitude were flawless.
The location is also superb, with convenient transportation. Nearby, there are supermarkets, shops, and various dining options, making it incredibly convenient whether you're traveling for sightseeing, shopping, or business. The value for money is definitely among the best in its class. I will choose this hotel first next time I'm in the area and will recommend it to my friends. A hotel that puts such care into its service and pays attention to details truly deserves a perfect rating!

HhidinginplainsightWe had to scramble to Jinzhou due to medical emergency from overseas. We happened to book this hotel in a great hurry and it was truly the only thing that helped us preserve our sanity at a very fraught time.
It was also our first time using trip.com as I could not find much options in Jinzhou on ***********, my long time app of choice. I was worried about how things would turn out since I didn't know if I could trust trip.com or fully research my options as we had to rush to pack as well. As it turned out, I'm 100% sure that no other hotel in 4th tier Jinzhou city could have given us the experience, comfort and ambience that Manxin Hotel did. I don't say that lightly as a seasoned international traveller who's stayed at many types of hotels/guesthouses/motels over the years, it takes *a lot* to impress us enough to earn my praise and endorsement in a review.
Manxin Hotel felt like a small boutique hotel feel with 3 floors of rooms. It was only opened in Jan 2024, so it really feels nice and new with a high ceiling foyer /lounge area. The rooms are huge with huge floor to ceiling windows. Although it's next to a train station, the triple glazed windows amazingly cut out most of the noise. The beds were very comfortable, with great toiletries, great Laifun hairdryer and free drinks replenished daily. Even the tea bags they provided were of great quality. We stayed in the hotel for 2 weeks so we were very happy to be able to use the complimentary washing machine service which saved me the hassle of having to hand wash my clothes daily in my room! There were some drainage issues in the shower but the hotel staff did try to sort out the problem. There's also a spacious gym available for those who are fitness fanatics. The hotel breakfast had great variety with quality coffee (not easy to find good coffee in China).
They even had a singer in the foyer 3 nights a week. Though I usually love listening to live music, the singers were students who were not quite able to deliver a performance befitting the old world charm and ambience of the hotel foyer.
Any hotel can have the best of facilities but often fall short on the service front. Since we were staying there for 2 weeks, we often had to deal with the hotel staff on a daily basis. We found them to be very competent, sincere, friendly, understanding and helpful for the most part, willing to do all that they could to assist us during our time of considerable distress and strain due to our family emergency. Even the housekeeping staff and the lady clearing plates in the breakfast area were warm and helpful!
As foreigners , we would sometimes need help with paperwork, scanning, photocopying, and other assistantance communicating with the outside world to make arrangements for international medical evacuation, WeChat/Alipay tutorials etc. We will always be grateful to the staff for all their efforts to assist in our time of need. In particular, we would like to thank Sales manager XY Yang and duty manager Hong for their tireless assistance and consideration.
If we were to go to Jinzhou again, Manxin hotel would absolutely be our only choice.

The hotel environment was quiet and elegant, with attention to detail evident everywhere, and everything was spotless. It offers great value for money; I felt comfortable and at ease during my stay. TTanpacengguoquanHaving stayed at Ramada Hong Kong Kowloon with my kids, this Shenyang branch offers incredible value for money. You can overlook the Shenyang Imperial Palace right from your window, and the hotel is located in Zhongjie. Downstairs, there are plenty of dining options including dumplings, noodles, BBQ, and Malatang. The room is spacious and very clean. The only downside is that only two elevators are operational, and they stop on every floor, making it a 10-minute wait each time to go up or down.
AAnonymous UserI couldn't find the lobby at first, so I followed an arrow sign and went up to the fifth floor. There was a cleaning lady there, and I politely asked her, 'Excuse me, could you tell me where the lobby is?' She completely ignored me. I asked again, 'Excuse me, where is the lobby?' She then impatiently snapped, 'Who told you the lobby is up here? Haven't you ever been to a hotel before? Who told you the lobby is upstairs?' I replied, 'I couldn't find it, so where is it?' She haughtily said, 'It's on the first floor, obviously.' The whole interaction she was just very impatient and arrogant. I was here to take an exam nearby and had hoped to review at the hotel, but she completely ruined my good mood.
Then, the soundproofing was terrible and it was so noisy. The next morning, after my exam, I wanted to take a nap, but I could hear everything clearly from the room next door – I couldn't get any sleep at all.

GGuest UserGave a perfect score 💯, providing my family and me with an excellent stay.
Ambiance: The first floor has a lobby, a fish pond, and a restaurant. The elevators feature nightclub-style purple lighting.
Cleanliness: The cleaning staff didn't slack off; the entire room was very clean. Disposable bath towels, regular towels, and toothbrushes were of good quality and safe to use. The breakfast could be described as 'small but complete.' The area is small, so the variety of dishes is moderate, but it has all the essentials. The stir-fries tasted great and were very clean. There were freshly cooked noodles and wontons, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
Facilities: The mattress and pillows were perfect for sleeping; not the type that's so soft you need to use your feet and waist to turn over. The in-room refrigerator was by the bed and cooled effectively! It wasn't just a decorative prop. The shower worked well, making for a very comfortable shower experience.
Service: The service was impeccable, with timely responses to guest needs.
Downsides/Areas for Improvement: 1. After returning home, I noticed a cigarette smell 🚬 on my pajamas, typical of thirdhand smoke. (Allowing smoking directly lowers a hotel's standard; if you're content with the status quo, then so be it.) 2. The afternoon tea cakes were of poor quality. At the same price point, small bread items would be a better option. 3. I chose this hotel from a list of luxury hotels. My experience was that of a superior star-rated hotel, but it doesn't quite live up to the word 'luxury.' The hotel's location is on a very ordinary intersection. The lobby and restaurant areas are just big enough for their functions. The guest room corridors felt overly casual even during the day, with daylight from emergency exits illuminating the entire hallway. A luxury hotel should have a sufficient sense of space, appropriate boundaries, and attention to detail. Currently, this establishment doesn't quite meet those points.
QQuinnomI had the most wonderful stay here. Firstly, the homestay itself is so clean and pretty. My room was exactly as it was in the pictures. I had a bathtub by the window with a seaview and a large room all to myself. The warm lighting made the ambience even more spectacular. I absolutely loved the New Chinese Style Interior Design. It is one of my favourite interiors, and it was such a dream to stay here. The complimentary Chinese tea set was refreshing. The staff here is excellent, too! I was attended by Mr. Sun, who spoke good English (which was very helpful for me as I am a foreigner with limited Mandarin). Upon my request, Mr. Sun provided me with a vegetarian breakfast and even brought it to my ropm to enjoy. It was a very substantial breakfast: millet porridge, warm milk, steamed sweet potato, corn on the cob, Broccoli, carrots, pumpkin, and a vegetable bao with fruits.
There is also a complimentary bracelet-making station for homestay guests. Mr. Sun also provided me with free-flow drinking water as the weather was lovely and sunny.
Location-wise, you can walk to the nearby theme park by crossing the pedestrian bridge and there are plenty of (high-end seafood restaurants) but there is also a supermarket and restaurant next door that was within my budget. The view of the bridge from my room at night was absolutely beautiful with the lights. Overall, I would really encourage anyone visiting Dalian to stay here! 😍😍 Thank you so much, Qingsong Yaju!
TTony Kwok Wah TamECheng Hotel near Shenyang North (Shenyangbei) Railway station has great amenities, convenient location being literally steps away from Shenyang North Railway station from which my party arrived, not to mention truly friendly staff as well as a fabulous breakfast that impressed us all. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend anyone who go to Shenyang to experience this fine hotel, its wonderful hospitality and nearby conveniences. Thank you ECheng and your professional staff.
YYuchuchuchuAbsolutely fantastic! From the moment you step inside, you can tell it's a guesthouse with a great artistic vibe. We traveled during the off-peak season, so parking right outside was incredibly easy. The rooftop view is amazing, and the tatami bed was super comfortable to sleep on. The soundproofing in the room is also excellent. There were five of us, and having two sinks in the room was really convenient and clean. The shower and toilet were also separate, which was great. I'm not much of a photographer, so I didn't take many pictures, but the room truly is beautiful. The basement level is a coffee shop, and I imagine taking photos there while having afternoon tea would turn out wonderfully! Since I had my child with me, I just took my drink back to the room. Next time, I'll definitely come without the kids!
Service: The front desk staff were incredibly kind and gentle. When we checked out, we had a small issue with the key card due to our own mistake, but they patiently helped us resolve it, allowing us to end our trip on a perfect note.
GGuest UserThe hotel boasts an excellent location, just minutes' walk from the subway station and shopping district, making travel incredibly convenient. The rooms were clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the front desk staff were warm and attentive. It's great value for money, and I'd definitely stay here again next time!
