We had to scramble to Jinzhou due to medical emergency from overseas. We happened to book this hotel in a great hurry and it was truly the only thing that helped us preserve our sanity at a very fraught time. It was also our first time using trip.com as I could not find much options in Jinzhou on ***********, my long time app of choice. I was worried about how things would turn out since I didn't know if I could trust trip.com or fully research my options as we had to rush to pack as well. As it turned out, I'm 100% sure that no other hotel in 4th tier Jinzhou city could have given us the experience, comfort and ambience that Manxin Hotel did. I don't say that lightly as a seasoned international traveller who's stayed at many types of hotels/guesthouses/motels over the years, it takes *a lot* to impress us enough to earn my praise and endorsement in a review. Manxin Hotel felt like a small boutique hotel feel with 3 floors of rooms. It was only opened in Jan 2024, so it really feels nice and new with a high ceiling foyer /lounge area. The rooms are huge with huge floor to ceiling windows. Although it's next to a train station, the triple glazed windows amazingly cut out most of the noise. The beds were very comfortable, with great toiletries, great Laifun hairdryer and free drinks replenished daily. Even the tea bags they provided were of great quality. We stayed in the hotel for 2 weeks so we were very happy to be able to use the complimentary washing machine service which saved me the hassle of having to hand wash my clothes daily in my room! There were some drainage issues in the shower but the hotel staff did try to sort out the problem. There's also a spacious gym available for those who are fitness fanatics. The hotel breakfast had great variety with quality coffee (not easy to find good coffee in China). They even had a singer in the foyer 3 nights a week. Though I usually love listening to live music, the singers were students who were not quite able to deliver a performance befitting the old world charm and ambience of the hotel foyer. Any hotel can have the best of facilities but often fall short on the service front. Since we were staying there for 2 weeks, we often had to deal with the hotel staff on a daily basis. We found them to be very competent, sincere, friendly, understanding and helpful for the most part, willing to do all that they could to assist us during our time of considerable distress and strain due to our family emergency. Even the housekeeping staff and the lady clearing plates in the breakfast area were warm and helpful! As foreigners , we would sometimes need help with paperwork, scanning, photocopying, and other assistantance communicating with the outside world to make arrangements for international medical evacuation, WeChat/Alipay tutorials etc. We will always be grateful to the staff for all their efforts to assist in our time of need. In particular, we would like to thank Sales manager XY Yang and duty manager Hong for their tireless assistance and consideration. If we were to go to Jinzhou again, Manxin hotel would absolutely be our only choice.

Staying in Shenyang for a few days, I chose the Northeast Asia Hotel, and it left a very good impression on me. The overall decor is simple yet grand, and the public areas are kept neat and organized. The guest rooms are well-maintained, with all facilities functioning properly and no signs of aging or malfunction. The bathroom has a wet and dry separation, keeping the floor dry, and the cleaning was very thorough. The bedding was clean and comfortable, allowing for a full rest after a long day. The hotel's location is excellent, convenient for both city sightseeing and business commutes. The staff were patient and communicative when issues arose, providing a pleasant service experience. With all sorts of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby, life here is incredibly convenient. This hotel is highly recommended whether you're traveling for leisure or staying temporarily for business.

Excellent service, the butler was very prompt in answering all our questions. Everyone here is so welcoming! The sea view is stunning, and the breakfast selection is quite extensive. In the evening, you can even enjoy a couple of drinks at the beach bar. Plus, at night, you can just sit outside and gaze at the moon, completely lost in thought.

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the train station, making travel convenient. The surrounding area has a full range of amenities, making daily dining, living, and shopping easy. The front desk service is professional and enthusiastic, and check-in and check-out are efficient and smooth. Special thanks to the Front Office Manager and the front desk staff for their thoughtful and meticulous service, prompt responses, and patient assistance in resolving any issues, which made for a very comfortable stay. The guest rooms are clean and tidy, with excellent hygiene, comfortable bedding, and quiet, providing a high level of comfort. The dining options are good, with a rich variety of dishes and delicious flavors, making for a great dining experience.

Traveling alone to a foreign place can be exhausting and lonely, but at Atour Hotel, I was deeply touched by the incredibly kind and gentle service from the front desk staff. It was truly the most memorable and moving warm moment of my trip. After a long journey, I rushed through check-in. It was only later that I suddenly realized I had lost a precious souvenir charm – a priceless keepsake carrying cherished family memories. In that moment, panic and anxiety washed over me. The feeling of helplessness in a strange city instantly overwhelmed me, so I approached the front desk, hoping they might be able to help. To my surprise, the staff member, Qiruo, showed not a hint of perfunctoriness or carelessness. She gently and patiently calmed my distressed emotions, softly reassuring me not to worry. Her kind words instantly soothed my inner turmoil. Following that, she was incredibly thorough and responsible, meticulously tracing my route. She proactively reviewed the CCTV footage from the lobby's public areas, repeatedly and carefully checking everything. She immediately contacted the cleaning and patrol staff to assist in the search, doing everything she could to help me find my lost item. Even in the middle of the night, when she could have been sleeping, she dedicated that time to helping me. She was like a good friend by my side! During the long wait, she stayed by my side, constantly reassuring me, offering warm water to ease my anxiety, and patiently listening to my concerns. She was gentle, meticulous, and incredibly dedicated throughout, never showing any impatience despite the trivial nature of the matter. Persistence paid off, and thanks to her tireless efforts, my precious charm was finally found. When the item was recovered, my heart was filled with emotion and gratitude. Afterward, she even thoughtfully reminded me to take good care of my belongings when traveling, a gentle detail that touched me deeply. In a cold and unfamiliar journey, the most precious thing isn't a perfect environment, but this genuine warmth and kindness from the heart. Atour's service is never just a mechanical process; it's a heartfelt empathy and a sincere, warm commitment to treating people well. A seemingly ordinary job, yet through the purest kindness, it warms the hearts of every traveler. This unexpected warmth dispelled all my travel fatigue and allowed me to truly understand Atour's unique human touch. From now on, I will always choose Atour for my travels, and I hope to always pass on this kindness and beauty!

Let's start with the positives: **Excellent Location:** The hotel boasts a prime location in the heart of Shenyang, surrounded by popular 'influencer' spots. The Imperial Palace and Marshal Zhang's Mansion are within walking distance, and it's situated right on Middle Street Pedestrian Street. Transportation is convenient. Downstairs, Wang Houyuan Dumplings are delicious, and the Qianlima BBQ across the street is also highly recommended; you should try their chicken racks too. It's incredibly convenient for getting around and dining. However, I wouldn't recommend the Xiaohuyan Morning Market or the Caitadian Night Market nearby; they're overpriced, the food is mediocre, very commercialized, and rarely frequented by locals. **Good Sleep Experience:** The soundproofing in the rooms is quite good, and the bedding is clean and comfortable, ensuring a high-quality rest. **Prompt Service Response:** When issues like a clogged floor drain arose, the hotel manager was patient and resolved them promptly. On the morning of the 24th, while dining at the buffet restaurant, I noticed obvious stains on the edge of a plate (as shown in the picture). A male waiter saw it and reacted quickly, immediately taking the plate away. His actions were timely and appropriate, which is commendable. He immediately informed a female waitress on site about the issue. However, it was disappointing that the female waitress responded, 'So many people eat at the buffet every day; it's impossible to check every plate.' Now for the negatives: **Severely Outdated Hardware:** The room furnishings are old-fashioned and stained, the clothes hanger was broken, and the room door sagged, making it difficult to open and close. The carpet had large areas of old stains, which looked quite bad. After I reported this to Ctrip, the platform was very helpful in coordinating a solution. The hotel manager was patient and proactively offered a room upgrade. Ultimately, we declined the upgrade and opted for free breakfast instead, but the hotel's attitude towards resolving the issue is commendable. (Although, when communicating with the manager, I overheard a female waitress next to her quietly questioning if I was 'looking for trouble,' which made me feel a bit uncomfortable. I was simply providing honest feedback.) **Poor Attention to Hygiene Details:** The floor drain in the shower was clogged, leading to standing water. Also, as mentioned, there were obvious stains on a plate during breakfast on the 24th. **Management Awareness Needs Improvement:** Regarding the cutlery hygiene issue, the on-site female waitress explained it away by saying 'there are too many people to check individually.' This reveals a lack of standardized procedures and treats an objective difficulty as an excuse for a management oversight. Finally, I'd like to say that while this stay wasn't perfect, Ramada, as an established four-star hotel, generally has good service and staff quality. However, it definitely needs some reforms. The hotel occupies an excellent location, but the current hardware completely fails to live up to its 'four-star' rating and 'prime location' value. I recommend considering phased renovations (for example, renovating one floor at a time and then progressing through the others). Although this would result in a short-term loss of revenue, in the long run, improving the hardware to recover ratings and reputation would yield a far greater return than simply 'resting on its laurels' as it is now.

My main purpose for this trip to Dalian was to watch a match at the Suoyuwan Stadium, so I chose the Novotel Dalian Zhongshan Square. From my hotel room, I could see the entire stadium in the distance. The hotel rooms are located on floors 30 and above. There are a few smaller hotels on floors below 30. Although they share the same building, they don't affect each other! The elevators are shared with the Meilun Hotel, but the Meilun's lobby is on the 58th floor, so again, no mutual impact! **Facilities:** I booked a standard twin room on the 35th floor. The room was spacious and bright, with complete facilities. The shower, in particular, had excellent water pressure. The bedding and linens were clean and hygienic, which I was most satisfied with 👍👍. The soundproofing in the room was also good, ensuring a quiet and peaceful sleep. **Environment:** The hotel boasts a superior location in the city center, making it convenient for dining and shopping. Downstairs, several seafood stalls are quite famous locally, and the food is indeed delicious. The Times Square next door offers various luxury brands, perfect for a stroll after dinner. **Service:** As for the hotel's breakfast, the variety was rich and the quality was excellent. The staff were warm and attentive, efficiently replenishing food and clearing plates, demonstrating a high level of professionalism 👍👍. In summary, my stay was a great experience. I will definitely choose Novotel again on my next visit and highly recommend it to friends visiting Dalian!

The hotel as a whole is simple yet elegant. The guest rooms are spotlessly clean, even the corners are well-maintained. The water pressure in the bathroom is excellent, and hot water comes out quickly, making for a great showering experience. The staff are patient and always try their best to assist with any requests. The location is superb, making it easy to get around by taxi or public transport, and there are plenty of amenities nearby. The atmosphere is peaceful, and the price is reasonable, making it an ideal choice for a leisure trip.

Booked 3 rooms for my parents and me. Even though we aren't IHG members, Trip.com offered early check-in, which was fantastic as we could settle in and rest right after getting off the high-speed train at 10 AM. The larger rooms we booked were spacious, and we could open our suitcases without obstructing movement. There are good restaurants nearby, and the hotel is within walking distance of the train station, which is very convenient. It's also not too far from the Broken Bridge. Breakfast had a slightly limited variety, but it was still enough to fill us up. Overall, we were very satisfied.

I stayed in Dalian for three nights and chose Qing Song Ya Ju, which is right by Xinghai Square. It's only a few dozen meters from the sea, and Xinghai Square is a 10-minute walk away. The location is absolutely fantastic! 👍 I stayed in the Yuzhou room, and the view from the window overlooked the main section of Xinghai Bridge. When the lights came on, the scenery was incredibly beautiful. If you want a great view of the bridge, this is the room to pick. The hotel has been open for two years, and I was surprised by how spacious and clean the room was. As a picky Virgo, I can confirm the cleanliness was top-notch; my fellow clean-freak friends can book with confidence! 🥳 Finally, I have to mention the concierge. He was super thoughtful; seeing that we were hot and tired after exploring all evening, he even brought us ice-cold beers 🍻 – so nice!
