The Grand by SkyCity

Busy hotel and a base hotel for China aircrew. Room size is decent and bed is comfortable. Daily housekeeping seemed to be a little slow probably because of high occupancy. Nice restaurants within the hotel. It be good if they can vary the breakfast spread, spread is the same everyday during my stay. Filtered coffee offered at breakfast. If you want something else like flat white, extra charges apply and extra charge for milk.
Fable Auckland, MGallery

The location of the hotel is very good, just in the center of Auckland, it is very convenient to go everywhere. The Sky Tower and the Harbor Bridge can all be reached on foot. The overall hotel is a bit old, but it is well maintained. Especially worthy of praise is their breakfast, which is delicious.
Woodhouse Mountain Lodge
4.4/540 Reviews
A mid winter retreat with a group of friends. The lounge areas are spacious and the open wood fires welcoming and cosy. Three separate lounges to separate groups. Meals were good, not amazing. Over 3 days the menu did not change which might have been monotonous for vegetarian with no choice offered. The staff were friendly and accommodating, at times seemed very busy. The accommodation is in little units which apart from numbers 1 to 4 require a long walk or car ride to the main lodge area. Umbrellas needed (unfortunately ) and torches essential. Spacious, comfortable, well appointed and private offering fabulous long views over the countryside. Only complaint is we found the bathroom very cold, tiles freezing underfoot, and the spa bath was out of order.
Mövenpick Hotel Auckland

We had a delicious lunch here to celebrate a birthday. It serves Asian fusion, and as the chef is Korean, I believe it has a lot of delicious Korean inspired dishes. We had the Grilled Prawns, Fried Chicken and Meat Balls. All served beautifully, the tastes a delicious explosion of flavors in the mouth, and so yummy, I could have kept on eating. The views are enormous!! So lovely - soaking up the sun, being served by a lovely friendly chatty waitress, and eating delicious food, with amazing views and eating yummy food with great company. We will be back.

I'm in LOVE! Cosy, Welcoming, Boutiquey. Went for a night away from my boys felt like I'd had a week at a spa. The staff were attentive and kind without being stiff necked. Room service from the restricted late night menu was DELICIOUS and the in-house breakfast was a perfect selection of light continental or eggs any way. The open fire was warm and inviting being tended by a waiter but i really did feel like I could put a log on it if I had I had itched that urge, My room had views of the city ferry's coming on a gloomy day. I happily watched them from my bed tucked up with my selection of pillows and the soft cotton and wool blanket. I'll be back sooner than later I expect and I'll be asking for the same room. An awesome example of the best of what our city has to offer. Made me proud to be a JAFFA!
Sofitel Auckland Viaduct Harbour
4.3/569 Reviews
Clean and sanitary, well-equipped facilities, very good service, convenient transportation, Uber for travel nearby is not expensive, breakfast is good, and rich. A great experience. The room was very quiet. Breakfast is simple but real. There is a set menu for lunch. Although the amount is smaller, there are appetizers, main dishes, and desserts. The concierge is very active in taking luggage and borrowing umbrellas is convenient. The only bad thing is that the bed in the twin room is too small, it is estimated to be only 90cm wide.
Park Hyatt Auckland

From the beautiful lobby, minimalist architecture, helpful and friendly staff, 5 star room - the quality and experience is second to none. Highly recommend this place if you are staying in Auckland. Its in the heart of Wynyard Quarter around great restaurants, the ASB Theatre and vibrant vibes.
Cordis, Auckland by Langham Hospitality Group

The room is relatively large, the facilities are relatively new, there is a shuttle bus to Queen Street on the hour, you can use Didi taxi, it is relatively fast, the hotel's breakfast buffet has a rich variety, the front desk service is a bit poor, I extended the room in the morning, I couldn't get into the elevator in the afternoon, and I had to queue up to renew the room card.
Pullman Auckland Hotel & Apartments

Easy late night check-in. Staff member gave us a SIM card so that we could connect locally immediately. Very comfortable room. Easy access to all Central Business District restaurants, galleries, buses etc. but away from the CBD noise.
SO/ Auckland

Very, very modern design, the car stopped in front of the door and was impacted by the luxury and high-end visuals, leaving the lobby alone, see picture. The suite we booked, although the room is not large, is understandable in the harbour area of downtown Auckland. However, the room's facilities are complete, and the hotel's grades are displayed everywhere. The supplies are divided into two sets of his / her, and all kinds of beverage snacks in the mini bar are also casually eaten. The hotel's breakfast is on the 15th floor and things are very fresh and delicious. The location of the hotel is also quite good. Walking to the famous Queen Street shopping, gucci shop, lv shop, dfs duty-free shop are all only a 5-minute walk, and naturally there are many high-end restaurants. In short, a modern, high-end, comfortable and convenient hotel choice is highly recommended and will enhance the overall experience in Auckland.
