I chose this hotel because of the free airport pickup and drop-off service, which was a decisive factor for me. The butler contacted us in advance and arranged the pickup, even sending us a small guide and restaurant recommendations, which were all very clear. The hotel environment is also excellent, the driver was very friendly, and the room was super comfortable. I do have a small suggestion though: there seemed to be too few trash cans. It would be much more convenient if the small tabletop bins were replaced with larger ones. The hotel breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and there was also complimentary late-night congee available, so if you don't feel like going out in the evening, you can easily have a satisfying meal here. The surroundings of the hotel are also lovely; on a clear night, you can even enjoy moon gazing. Overall, I give my stay a full 5 stars.

The basic room type at this hotel is very spacious and even has a vanity table. The hardware facilities are excellent. The hotel staff are also incredibly friendly, especially Tian Lele, who was enthusiastic, patient, and very helpful in resolving issues. I will definitely stay here again when I come to Yinchuan.

Location: The hotel is conveniently located near Yinchuan Municipal Government and Ningxia Museum, making it easy to access attractions and the train station. Its prime location is a definite plus. However, the hotel entrance is situated between two buildings, and many ride-sharing drivers get misdirected to the parking lot by their navigation, making it difficult for them to pick up guests. It's advisable to factor in extra time when booking a ride. Room: This time, I used my points to upgrade to a Mountains and Rivers View room. The facilities are pretty similar to the standard rooms, but being on a higher floor offered a nice view of the Helan Mountains. Unfortunately, the window glass was very dirty, making it impossible to take good photos. I suggest cleaning them. Also, the air inlet cover on the handle of the hairdryer in the bathroom was missing, indicating that some facilities need prompt maintenance. The TV was quite old; it couldn't cast, and both the picture and sound quality were poor. Food: The breakfast selection was rich and varied. However, some of the English translations for certain dishes were significantly flawed and need immediate correction. For dining out, Jin Feng Wanda Plaza is nearby. Alternatively, if you turn left twice after exiting the hotel, within 50 meters, there's a restaurant called 'Bai Xing Han Can' which offers a wide variety of dishes that cater well to Southern palates.

This hotel is a well-established five-star in Yinchuan. Its location, service, and quality are all excellent, and the breakfast spread is fantastic. We stayed in a family connecting room, and we'd like to thank Nancy, the front desk supervisor, for assisting us and upgrading our connecting rooms to a suite. The room offers a superb view of People's Square and the Ningxia Museum. We stayed for two days, and my family was very satisfied.

This review is based on an off-season nightly rate of 3,000 RMB. **Pros:** Located directly in the desert, offering an escape from the tourist crowds. The hotel design and environment are impeccable. However, for a hotel at this price point, there are several significant issues: 1. **Shower Pressure:** The water pressure was insufficient for both the handheld and overhead showerheads. You could clearly see clogged nozzles, making it worse than a standard Atour hotel. 2. **Duvet Cover Odor:** Around 11 PM, as I was preparing to sleep, I noticed a faint but unpleasant odor emanating from the duvet, similar to the stale smell of a wet towel left overnight. I had the cleaning staff who came to change it confirm the smell. 3. **Check-in Process Not Smooth:** It had been raining heavily in the desert all day. After driving to the hotel and parking in front of the reception, we had to unload all our luggage, then drive the car out of the hotel gates ourselves to a nearby parking lot, and then walk back to reception. Although it wasn't far, doing this in the rain is unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber (at the very least, they could offer valet parking). 4. **Unprofessional Photo Shoot:** The complimentary photo shoot required advance booking, and customer service strongly emphasized being punctual, warning that tardiness would affect other guests due to high demand. We arrived 5 minutes early, but ended up waiting 10 minutes before a novice photographer was dispatched. About an hour after the shoot, I received a call saying there was a memory card issue, and all the photos taken were lost, requiring a reshoot. Only then was an experienced photographer assigned. 5. **Stinginess at Yellow River Shuji:** My second night was spent at Yellow River Shuji, another hotel in the same group. The service attitude was good, but they were incredibly stingy. I accidentally left behind an original charger, and when the hotel staff mailed it back to me, it was sent **cash on delivery (COD)! COD!** Even Atour hotels don't send items COD, seriously. I know it was my own oversight, but for a hotel of this price, it's quite unbelievable. Tengol did send some goji berry eight-treasure tea as a parting gift, but I'm still incredibly disappointed.

Zhuang Zhuang Ge (Brother Zhuang Zhuang) is handsome and kind, providing thoughtful and meticulous service. Check-in was efficient and smooth. Any requests were handled quickly with a gentle and patient attitude, making the whole experience great. The environment was quiet and comfortable, ensuring a peaceful stay. It was a very satisfying experience. For hotel bookings, look for Zhuang Zhuang Ge, he's amazing!

As soon as we exited the station, we saw a driver in a neat uniform holding a sign. The car was a powerful off-road SUV, and inside, ice water, wet towels, and snacks were thoughtfully prepared – these small details instantly erased our travel fatigue. There's a stretch of desert driving from the station to the hotel, and the driver specifically took us on a 'desert rollercoaster' ride, which was exhilarating yet safe, and our child shrieked with delight the entire way. Upon departure, it was even more impressive; they drove us all the way to the airport departure gate, and we didn't have to touch our luggage once, truly experiencing the luxury of 'hands-free' travel. 🏨 Room Facilities: A Sparkling Diamond in the Desert The moment we opened the door, our whole family gasped in awe. The floor-to-ceiling glass window framed the continuous sand dunes into a flowing painting. The room was incredibly spacious, with smart home controls throughout, and the bedding felt like sinking into clouds. A Dyson hairdryer, premium toiletries, a complimentary mini-bar fully stocked with imported drinks and snacks, welcome fruits, and a handwritten card showed incredible thoughtfulness. The entire hotel is like a work of art growing out of the desert, with stunning shots at any time and from any angle. 🐫 Activity Arrangements: Fulfilling and Thoughtful The hotel's activities were so abundant that we never had a moment of boredom. Our butler arranged our itinerary in advance: early morning desert hiking to identify plants, camel riding across dunes in the morning, thrilling dune buggy rides in the afternoon, and a bonfire party and stargazing lecture in the evening. The biggest surprise was that they secretly arranged a desert candlelight dinner for our wedding anniversary – rose petals, champagne, exclusive service, so romantic it brought tears to our eyes. The infinity pool was equally surprising; playing in the water in the middle of the desert with dunes behind you – this contrast was incredibly captivating. 🍽️ Buffet: The Flavors of Northwest China on Your Tongue Breakfast and dinner can almost be described as 'luxurious'. For breakfast, freshly pulled beef noodles, steaming hot Mugwort noodles, and fresh lamb offal soup – both Chinese and Western options were excellent. The dinner buffet was king-level; unlimited Ningxia Tan sheep meat, hotpot, BBQ – all available. The meat was tender with a milky aroma. There were also freshly shucked oysters, various seafood sashimi, and an exquisite dessert bar. Chefs cooked on-site, and servers cleared plates very promptly. Every meal was so delicious we ate until we couldn't move, and the taste definitely rivaled high-end restaurants. 👩💼 Staff Quality: The Soul of the Hotel The most touching aspect of this trip was the people. From butler Xiao Yang to dune buggy driver Master Ma, from the front desk to every lady in the restaurant, they always wore genuine smiles. When my wife had mild heatstroke, the butler delivered medicine and mung bean soup in the middle of the night. When our child's clothes got dirty playing in the sand, the housekeeping auntie immediately helped wash and dry them. They remembered every guest's preferences, not with mechanical politeness, but with the sincere care of old friends. This genuine warmth is absolutely the pinnacle of the Chinese hotel industry. If I had to summarize in one sentence: Diamond Hotel made the desert feel like home, and turned travel into a truly moving experience. I'm already planning my next stay. Excellent hotel, great value for money. Check-in was fast and easy. It's located right next to the trade city, which was convenient for my taxi ride. The bedsheets weren't very comfortable, but everything else was good. It's a very stylish hotel, and the front desk is on the 5th floor, reflecting Yinchuan's city image. We flew in from Shanghai to join a local tour group visiting Wuhai Lake and the Western Dream Grand Canyon. The tour was very rich and comprehensive. We booked a group package deal for only 363 (RMB), and with other expenses, it came to less than 500 (RMB). This is an incredibly good value for a star-rated hotel.

The hotel lobby is huge and the room was clean. Their customer service was also impeccable. The front desk staff had shown that they are so willing to assist you in every way possible, right from the check-in. When my wife was feeling unwell, they brought food up to the room for her. They then gave us complimentary breakfast (I’d booked a non-breakfast room) and even provided us with a free clothes wash and dry service as our WeChat could not be linked to the QR code. The cleaning lady was also kind and was always asking us if we needed more toiletries. I must say that the hotel staff made a huge difference in our hotel stay. The room environment feels comfortable, the hotel is in a good location, and the transportation is generally convenient. Duoduo at the front desk said that there is Hengdian Cinema nearby. We went to the snack street in the evening, which is not far from the hotel and can be reached in a few minutes on foot. The room is comfortable and sanitary, the front desk and room attendants are happy to provide all kinds of help, the facilities are very smart, and the price-performance ratio is good. It is the first choice for next stay.
