5-Star Hotels in Ningxia, China

Environment: Located across from the Yinchuan Municipal Government, some rooms with a view offer a斜向 view of Helan Mountain. Yinchuan isn't a large city, so getting anywhere is very convenient. Facilities: It's genuinely old. Even as we're about to pass 2025, you still see TVs with 20-year-old picture quality, and of course, no screen mirroring function. There are no convenient outlets by the bed for charging, and the front desk doesn't provide power strips, only a short 3-in-1 charging cable. The Wi-Fi signal is only one bar, and even when connected, it's unusable. There are no delivery robots; there's a locker downstairs for self-pickup. The diverter knob for switching between the overhead shower and handheld shower in the bathroom is almost broken. There's no smart toilet, not even a heated seat. Service: Very good, excellent attitude.

The hotel is located at No. 163 Beijing Middle Road, Jinfeng District, opposite People's Square in the city center, and not far from the museum and Phoenix Magic City. I booked through Ctrip and requested a non-smoking, quiet room. Upon arrival, Sarah, the lobby manager, was at the front desk. During check-in, she proactively upgraded me to a 270° view room. Her service was polite and always accompanied by a smile, demonstrating high professionalism. I hope other staff members can learn from Sarah. The hotel lobby is spacious and bright, with sparkling crystal chandeliers, and the high-speed elevators provide safe transport. The room offers excellent views. The wear and tear on some facilities simply reflects the hotel's occupancy rate and room usage frequency. I suggest the hotel provide non-slip slippers in the showers.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, I chose the Yinchuan Wanda Realm Hotel, and it turned out to be exceptionally wonderful. The front desk service was very attentive, and a young man surnamed Su patiently introduced nearby attractions and affordable restaurants. The location was convenient, and the room was clean and tidy. They called in advance to inquire about my needs before check-in. I mentioned buckwheat pillows, and to my surprise, a buckwheat pillow had already been prepared and placed on the bed. There was also a handwritten note in the room, and extra water had been provided. Ms. Liu Xiaoqin was very thoughtful and valued the guest experience. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to my friends!

The service attitude of the hotel staff is excellent. From the reception at check-in to room service, they are very warm and professional, making you feel extra comfortable. The hotel room was also very clean and tidy, with comfortable beds and all the facilities in the room, making my stay very comfortable and convenient. In addition, the hotel's catering is also very good. The breakfast is rich in variety and of good quality. All in all, I was very satisfied with my stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to other travelers!

The Desert Star Hotel was by far the most amazing hotel on my trip to Ningxia! The five-star main building has a futuristic feel, and when lit up at night, it looks like a galaxy falling into the desert. The rooms feature panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows and a stargazing skylight, allowing you to watch desert sunrises and sunsets during the day and fall asleep under the Milky Way at night. The stargazing experience is truly top-notch. The hotel's facilities are excellent, including professional stargazing explanations, desert activities, and a rich and delicious dining selection. The staff are warm and attentive, and the shuttle service is convenient. Enjoying luxurious comfort deep in the desert, it's perfect for photos and offers a full-mark experience. Highly recommended!

Yinchuan in April is cool in the mornings and evenings, but very hot during the day. I'm not sure if it was the heating or something else, but the room temperature at night reached over 30 degrees Celsius! After a long discussion, there was still no solution. The air conditioning couldn't be turned on, and they could only provide a fan. Even that didn't help much! Our two-night stay was pure torture, and my whole family didn't get any good rest. Think twice before booking if the AC isn't operational yet!

We booked a room at Hyatt House. Rebecca enthusiastically checked us in. Seeing that my order only included one breakfast, she sent us another one and also gave the child a small camel doll as a gift. The room was clean and tidy, with complete facilities. Parking was convenient and travel was stress-free. I was very satisfied with my stay.

The hotel is perfectly located above Yinchuan's bustling shopping mall, offering convenient transportation. Nearby are a variety of restaurants, entertainment venues, and a night market. Tea House is just a short walk downstairs. The rooms are fully equipped and very clean. The mattress is incredibly soft and comfortable. The breakfast is plentiful, and the space is spacious, so there's no need to wait for a table. The service was excellent and attentive, especially Li Jiyan, who was very helpful. I look forward to staying here again!

I'd call this my current number one hotel in China, with Luxes Chongzuo coming in second! The scenery, environment, service, and food are all fantastic! Before coming, I did a lot of research, choosing between Tengri, Xingxing, and Diamond. First, Tengri's hotel style is unique, but it's on the outskirts of the desert, not immersive enough, and I heard the service is mediocre, so that was out! Xingxing and Diamond are under the same management group, so the service should be comparable, but Diamond's food is significantly better. Diamond has only 30 rooms, while Xingxing has over 200, so you can imagine the service difference. Crucially, Xingxing's rooms are smaller and not my preferred style. Let's talk about the food, which is what I value most. Breakfast and dinner are included. During the off-season, you can order in advance via a mini-program. You can order as many dishes as you like – literally, you can order multiple portions of anything. This is amazing! Most importantly, the quality is superb. Not a single dish felt like an afterthought; the presentation and taste were both incredible! There's even a late-night bowl of noodles delivered to your room before bed! The hotel is shaped like a diamond necklace. I took a drone shot, and it looked like a scene from a blockbuster movie! With fewer rooms, it's incredibly quiet. You can step out of your room and play in the sand, undisturbed. I feel like I could stay here for days and never get bored. Regarding the children's amenities, even though we didn't bring kids, every room has children's products, including face sand masks and shoe covers for kids. There are sandboards and digging tools right outside the door, which is so convenient. The room facilities are excellent: a SMEG coffee machine and kettle, a Dyson hairdryer and humidifier, a Zeppelin speaker, and Acqua di Parma toiletries... The service is beyond words. They respond to messages instantly, and almost all your requests are met! This hotel is the only reason I'd want to return to Ningxia!

We came to visit my mom who was unexpectedly hospitalized. The hotel is right across from the hospital. This is a brand new hotel. The staff, Ms. Candy Wang, had excellent attention to detail and service mindset. I told Ms Wang just incidentally that we were only there for a night but may need to extend it on demand due to family care requirements. Ms Wang gave me an upgrade to a bigger room in case my mom needed to come in to rest for a while before we catch the flight home. We exercised this option when my mom eventually discharged, which I am so grateful for. Ms Wang made sure that travel and breakfast was well taken care of. She also helped me in my busy state of affairs to take care of parcels that I received on behalf of my mom. We have travelled to many places and countries. This has been the best experience ever!
