5-Star Hotels in Ningxia, China

Environment: Located across from the Yinchuan Municipal Government, some rooms with a view offer a斜向 view of Helan Mountain. Yinchuan isn't a large city, so getting anywhere is very convenient. Facilities: It's genuinely old. Even as we're about to pass 2025, you still see TVs with 20-year-old picture quality, and of course, no screen mirroring function. There are no convenient outlets by the bed for charging, and the front desk doesn't provide power strips, only a short 3-in-1 charging cable. The Wi-Fi signal is only one bar, and even when connected, it's unusable. There are no delivery robots; there's a locker downstairs for self-pickup. The diverter knob for switching between the overhead shower and handheld shower in the bathroom is almost broken. There's no smart toilet, not even a heated seat. Service: Very good, excellent attitude.

Overall, the hotel was decent. Initially, I was given a strangely shaped room with an awkward layout and no view. After they moved me to a different room, it was much better. The capsule coffee machine wasn't working at first. A staff member came to fix it, and while it started working, no coffee came out. It only worked after I changed the capsule. When the staff member came to fix the coffee machine, she knocked and I said 'wait a moment,' but she just opened the door and walked in. This definitely needs some training. Other than that, everything else was good, and the service response was very prompt. There's one minor issue: after every service request, customer service would call to follow up. Personally, I found this very redundant and disruptive. Shouldn't departments communicate internally to confirm if service has been delivered, instead of repeatedly bothering guests?

An excellent hotel! The exterior looks high-end and grand, and the rooms are clean and tidy. What stood out was the front desk staff's smiling service and excellent attitude, which made guests feel right at home. The breakfast was also very satisfying. Highly recommended!

Due to unforeseen circumstances, I chose the Yinchuan Wanda Realm Hotel, and it turned out to be exceptionally wonderful. The front desk service was very attentive, and a young man surnamed Su patiently introduced nearby attractions and affordable restaurants. The location was convenient, and the room was clean and tidy. They called in advance to inquire about my needs before check-in. I mentioned buckwheat pillows, and to my surprise, a buckwheat pillow had already been prepared and placed on the bed. There was also a handwritten note in the room, and extra water had been provided. Ms. Liu Xiaoqin was very thoughtful and valued the guest experience. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to my friends!

Excellent and friendly service! Modern and clean hotel! We highly recommend this hotel. It’s modern and with spacious and clean rooms. And the staff is outstanding. We were very warmly welcomed by the staff and check in went super smooth. We got lots of information and it’s easy to communicate via the hotels WeChat. The staff didn’t speak so much English, but this was not any problem with translating apps and the translate function in WeChat. The staff felt us feel very welcome and they stood out as very professional and service minded. We have travelled a lot and the staff of Huanghe Xiyu hotel made a solid impression. The room was spacious and modern. It was very clean and nice. Good windows which could be opened. It also has mosquito nets. There were plenty water, a couple of complementary soft drinks and drip coffee and tea. Comfortable beds and several choices of pillows. The gym was also good. The breakfast was very good. Nice selections of diffferent items. Tasty and fresh. We enjoyed freshly made noodles and dumplings. The staff in the restaurant was very friendly and service minded too. Overall a very good experience which we do recommended.

The room is small in size and clean and tidy. The parent-child room I booked has a double bed and a single bed, which is especially suitable for a family of three. Toiletries come in large bottles and are of good quality. Breakfast is an absolute plus for this hotel. Cold side dishes, haggis soup, fried buns, and ramen are all great! Not inferior to international five stars. Although the breakfast area is not large, everything is of good quality. Wuzhong is not a big city, so I parked my car in front of the hotel when I was driving, which was very convenient. It takes one hour to go to Yinchuan from Wuzhong, one hour to Shuidonggou, and one and a half hours to Shapotou. I like the Northwest~

The hotel's parking lot is underground. Be careful to turn right in time and don't park on the ground. The above-ground parking lot is not owned by the hotel and is charged. 2. There is a big projector in the bedroom of the suite, and you can also use your mobile phone to cast the screen, which is super cool. 3. The hotel gym and swimming pool are open to the public, so there are no bath towels and toiletries. If you want to swim, remember to bring them from the room. 4. The breakfast is good. There are freshly cooked ramen. Although the taste is not as good as the ones outside, it is not bad. It is quite delicious.

The hotel is perfectly located above Yinchuan's bustling shopping mall, offering convenient transportation. Nearby are a variety of restaurants, entertainment venues, and a night market. Tea House is just a short walk downstairs. The rooms are fully equipped and very clean. The mattress is incredibly soft and comfortable. The breakfast is plentiful, and the space is spacious, so there's no need to wait for a table. The service was excellent and attentive, especially Li Jiyan, who was very helpful. I look forward to staying here again!

We just spent an absolutely wonderful four days and three nights at the Desert Star Hotel in Zhongwei. Nestled deep within the Tengger Desert in the Shapotou Scenic Area, this hotel truly delivered a magical experience far exceeding our expectations, making us feel like we could 'open our windows to an ocean of sand and look up at a river of stars.' **Exceptional Location and Accommodation:** The hotel is situated in the heart of the desert within the Shapotou Tourist Scenic Area. We experienced both the log cabin and the desert-view rooms. The desert-view rooms are cleverly designed, with huge floor-to-ceiling windows and private terraces that transform the rolling sand dunes into a private, exclusive landscape. Every morning, we could watch the desert sunrise from our room; at night, lying on the lounge chairs on the terrace, we were treated to a breathtaking starry sky that’s unimaginable in the city – a truly unforgettable and awe-inspiring sight. The log cabins are economical yet equally high quality, with well-appointed interiors, meticulous attention to detail, and premium toiletries. **Rich Activity Schedule:** Our four-day itinerary was fulfilling without being rushed. We fully enjoyed the various activities organized by the hotel, including professional stargazing lectures (held in the Stargazing Valley, where the guide was very skilled at pointing out constellations) and fun desert hikes (where we learned about desert plants and animal footprints). Our room key card allowed us free shuttle access to and from the Shapotou Scenic Area, where we easily enjoyed thrilling activities like sandboarding and camel riding. The hotel's activity arrangements perfectly balanced entertainment and education, delightful for both adults and children. **Delicious and Diverse Dining Options:** During our four-day stay, the hotel's dining offerings provided many pleasant surprises. Dinners were very generous, especially the local-style hotpot with delicious Tan sheep meat, which felt incredibly warm and satisfying on desert nights. The breakfast buffet also offered a wide variety of choices, providing ample energy for a day of activities. **Attentive and Thoughtful Service:** From the moment we arrived at the 'Gate of Time and Space' reception, the excellent service was constant. The staff were warm and friendly, proactively helping with our luggage and thoroughly explaining the hotel facilities and activity schedule. Our room was kept spotless, and the mini-bar was restocked efficiently, making for a very relaxing and comfortable experience.
