The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! Sitting on the balcony, I could quietly sip tea while gazing at Tiandu Peak, Renzi Waterfall, and the lush forest below, truly communing with the mountains. In the early morning, I’d take a stroll, heading up the steps right outside the hotel, listening to the murmuring stream, and breathing in the abundant negative oxygen ions while meditating. This meditation spot is so peaceful, like a secluded paradise, with the pond water crystal clear and emerald green. It truly brought to life the descriptions from Liu Zongyuan's 'The Little Pond in Stone-dwelling': 'Through the bamboo grove, I heard the sound of water, like jingling jade pendants, and my heart rejoiced. Cutting through the bamboo, I found a small pond below, its water especially clear and cold. The bottom was entirely rock, and near the bank, a rocky base emerged, forming islets, shallows, and crags. Green trees and vibrant vines intertwined, swaying, and gracefully draping.' This is truly another wonderful way to experience Huangshan! The hotel also provided attentive and detailed butler and transfer services. Every meal was unique and incredibly delicious. On our last day, with a flight at 10 PM, the hotel kindly allowed us to extend our check-out until 8 PM and even drove us to the airport. My sincere thanks to every staff member for their help. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Huangshan and staying here again.

The location is undeniably perfect, right at Lion Forest, making it super convenient for catching both sunrise and sunset. Since there aren't many people around, the room was really quiet. I absolutely loved the big balcony facing the majestic mountains, and I even saw squirrels hopping among the branches – that view alone is worth at least 3,000 yuan, in my opinion! 😂 However, the room rate of nearly 7,000 yuan felt a bit inflated, probably due to it being peak summer season. On the other hand, the butler service was very warm and enthusiastic. They even gave us a souvenir when we checked out. I left my phone charger in the room, and they kindly mailed it back to me. If I ever get the chance again, I'd love to see Huangshan in the snow.

The newly opened five-star hotel in my hometown has a great environment, especially the night view, with its beautiful fountain and light show. The room window offers a view of Sleeping Beauty Mountain. The hotel service is also excellent; they called to ask if I needed anything and helped arrange a higher floor. They even gave me a Mid-Autumn Festival gift bag with snacks and an eye mask – very thoughtful! I'm so happy that my hometown has such a wonderful hotel.

Having lived abroad for many years, I’ve experienced quite a number of world-class hotels and the highest standards of service and facilities. Even compared with those hotels, the overall design philosophy of Luming Valley, the meticulous attention to both interior and exterior details, the restaurant cuisine, and the service provided by the staff are all truly top-tier. Mr. and Mrs. Zhu are exceptionally warm and hospitable, and the story behind their creation of this hotel was deeply moving. It added many wonderful memories to our trip to Huangshan. Location, location, location! The most important advantage said three times! The hotel's Chinese restaurant serves excellent food, and the price is comparable to what you'd find on Jiuhua Street. We ate lunch and dinner there on our own. The service was also great! The facilities are a bit old, though. The room's carpet and bathroom were very clean, but there was a slight odor, probably due to the humidity in the mountains. However, it's convenient for getting around, the location is fantastic! They also allowed a late checkout until 2 PM, and even gave me two sachets when I checked out! (As pictured)

I chose to stay at The Langham Hefei for Eric Chou's concert, and my experience exceeded expectations. Mindy, a staff member, arranged the room perfectly in advance, and the front desk even gave me concert merchandise, making my check-in very pleasant. The hotel is super close to the concert venue, about a 5-minute walk, and I could even hear Eric Chou's concert rehearsal from the hotel – it was so exciting! After the concert, returning to the hotel, they thoughtfully prepared ginger tea to ward off the evening chill, showing incredible attention to detail and warmth. The room was comfortable and quiet, the location was convenient for getting around, and the service was attentive throughout. Such thoughtfulness made me feel incredibly warm, and they even helped arrange a late check-out! 👍 I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I come to Hefei for a concert!

During my trip to Mount Huangshan, I stayed at the Xihai Hotel. The location is quite convenient, right by the Xihai Grand Canyon, making it ideal for an in-depth exploration of the canyon. The front desk staff were very welcoming and attentive, and there are evening performances as well. It's very convenient for watching the sunrise and sunset at Danxia Peak, and the hotel even organizes guided sunrise-viewing tours. They also provide down jackets for guests to use, which is a nice touch.

## A Relaxed 2-Day Huangshan Itinerary with a 6-Year-Old This time, I took my child to Mount Huangshan and chose to stay at the newly renovated Beihai Hotel on the mountaintop, which far exceeded my expectations. The hotel reopened after renovation in 2025, and the rooms are equipped with a coffee machine, Bose sound system, calf massager, and smart toilet. A calf massage after hiking was a lifesaver! The room also provides down jackets and flashlights, so you won't freeze watching the sunrise. The butler proactively informs guests of sunrise and sunset times and meeting points, with a leader guiding everyone. **Day 1: Easy Hike on the Back Mountain** From Tangkou Transfer Center, take the scenic bus to Yungu Temple, then the Yungu Cable Car up the mountain (10 minutes, saving 2 hours of climbing). Walk about 30 minutes to Beihai Hotel to drop off luggage and rest. For lunch, you can bring your own self-heating pot, instant noodles, or snacks. *Afternoon: Relaxed Hike with the Kids* Hotel → Shuguang Pavilion → Qingliang Terrace → Monkey Gazing at the Sea. This route offers expansive views, and Monkey Gazing at the Sea is one of Huangshan's classic bizarre rocks. The entire trip takes about 1.5 hours, with gentle slopes that aren't tiring. Upon returning to the hotel, you can enjoy the complimentary Hanfu photo experience or afternoon tea. If you still have energy, you can continue: Hotel → Pen Holder Peak → Umbrella Pine → Black Tiger Pine → Shixin Peak. Shixin Peak is an excellent spot to see unique pines, with a round trip of about 1.5 hours. In the evening, after the hotel buffet (198 yuan/person), you can try making incense seals and interacting with NPCs in the lobby for small gifts, which the kids loved. *Reminder*: The hotel organizes guided trips to Shixin Peak for sunset daily (around 6:30 PM, depending on sunset time). A leader will guide the way, so you don't have to navigate in the dark. **Day 2: Classic Front Mountain Highlights** Morning: Watch the sunrise (organized by the hotel, waking up around 4 AM, specific times will be announced by the hotel in advance) → Return to the hotel for more rest, breakfast, and check-out at 11 AM → Walk about 1 hour to Bright Summit (the second-highest peak in Huangshan, offering expansive views of Lotus Peak and Flying Stone; there's a restaurant at Bright Summit for lunch, or you can bring your own food) → Aoyu Peak → Hundred-Step Ladder (steep downhill, protect your knees) → Greeting-Guests Pine → Yuping Cable Car down the mountain → Dinner in Tangkou Town. **🎒 Essential Packing List** ID card, power bank (20000 mAh recommended), sun hat + sunglasses, trekking poles (adjustable ones are recommended, use two poles), knee pads (essential for downhill), non-slip hiking shoes, disposable raincoat, water bottle (drinking water is available on the mountain), hard-shell jacket, quick-dry clothes and long pants, light snacks like chocolate/energy bars, trash bags (you must carry your trash down the mountain). **⚠️ Important Notes** 1. **Book Tickets and Cable Car in Advance**: Huangshan operates on a system of ”limited capacity, reservation, and staggered entry.” Make sure to purchase tickets on the official platform in advance. 2. **Layering Strategy**: There's a big temperature difference between day and night on the mountain. ”Onion-style” layering is recommended: a quick-dry shirt + hard-shell jacket is usually sufficient. The hotel provides down jackets for sunrise, so you don't need to carry a heavy coat. 3. **Tips for Traveling with Kids**: The route from the back mountain up and the front mountain down generally has fewer crowds. The back mountain is gentler, suitable for the first day to adapt. The front mountain has many steps, so let your 6-year-old rest when tired, no need to rush. 4. **Dining**: Prices are high on the mountaintop. You can bring some dry food. The buffet dinner is recommended and good value for money. The biggest advantage of staying on the mountaintop is enjoying the tranquility after the crowds disperse in the morning and evening, and having the magnificent Huangshan sunrise and sunset all to yourself.

This InterContinental truly lives up to its high standards. The food selection is incredibly generous, a real treat for anyone who loves to eat – you'll be full all day! I was pleasantly surprised by such an extensive spread for the price. They were also incredibly accommodating with my special requests, preparing everything meticulously in advance. The service was top-notch all around. I absolutely loved it here; it's a perfect spot for a staycation.

Banyan Tree Huangshan 💚 For my dad's birthday, the hotel prepared a delicious strawberry mousse cake! We couldn't finish it because the portions were so generous 😋. There are three peacocks 🦚🦚🦚 in the courtyard (they are super smart and will come right up to you for food), and the scenery from the balcony is picturesque (the sunset was absolutely stunning) ❤❤❤. The entire hotel is filled with the Banyan Tree's special essential oil scent, and there's an essential oil diffuser in the room too. During check-in, the butler offered Huangshan Maofeng tea and special pastries and then introduced the hotel's evening ceremonies: 'A Night of Fish and Dragon Dance' and 'Intangible Cultural Heritage Iron Flower Display' ✨. Even though I've seen them many times on TV, the shock of seeing them in person is still indescribable!!! We also received evening gifts: a small Banyan Tree turtle doll and cookies. Since it was a birthday celebration, the Baiyun Restaurant reserved a central scenic table with breathtaking views. The hotel's signature dishes — Huizhou Maofu Tofu, Huizhou Smelly Mandarin Fish, and Huizhou Daobanxiang — were all incredibly delicious and perfect with rice! 😋😋😋 The important thing is that they weren't spicy at all! I feel like this is probably the best hotel in Huangshan City at this price point! Finally, a shout-out to our butler, Amy!
