The hotel was relatively clean but noisy, with doors slamming at 2 AM. Good location. Definitely do not park on the street, even if the host assures you it's fine, as our car was vandalized.

Enjoyed my stay here. The place is clean and the staff friendly. There are supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The bus stops right outside the hotel but it’s quite a walk to the nearest metro station. A small fridge would have been handy but I notice these are not common in Portugal. The lift is unusual but functional. Perhaps a real cup for making hot drinks would be preferable to the paper one provided. Overall, a positive experience and good value in Lisbon.

It was a very good experience. The bed was extremely comfortable, the room was quiet, and the bathrooms were always clean with hot water. The kitchen has basic utensils. The location is good, with a market nearby and a metro station about a ten-minute walk away. The metro is well signposted, which makes it easy to get around the city without much difficulty. The receptionist is friendly and helpful. Furthermore, for women traveling alone, it's a safe and quiet place to stay.

The location was fantastic, right near Liberty Avenue, perfect for walking around and shopping. The triple room wasn't huge, but it was clean and tidy, and the staff were friendly. I originally booked thinking there was paid parking available, but it turned out there was an issue with the car park, so we couldn't use it. This meant we spent our first day driving around looking for a spot. Parking in the city center is quite complicated, so we ended up using an underground car park beneath a commercial plaza. They charged every 15 minutes, and it cost over 37 euros for one night! Luckily, the next day was a Friday, and from 7 PM on Friday until Sunday, parking was free.

I regret booking this hostel immediately after enter the room. Room is too small and air circulation is not good. Not enough spaces to place personal belongings. I booked here based on the high reviews score but I think it is overrated. I hurt myself when I squat down to close the metal drawer. It has some sharp edges. Breakfast is okay if it’s is included in the booking. If buy it separately at 9 Euro it’s overpriced.

It was clean. Front desk workers were helpful and welcoming. The beds are somewhat hard, I had trouble syaying asleep but some might prefer these mattresses. The under bed lockers are terribly designed: the frontpiece gets pulled up so you cannot see into the locker and you have to lay on the floor to put your belongings in and out. Their height is similar to under an airplane seat so your overhead baggage with hard shell case likely won't fit into it. It does take your own lock so that's a plus. There is no kitchen; there is offered in April 2026 up to 11 euro breakfasts. In the lobby they offer hotwater via a machine but no mugs to use. If the hostel is reading this my recommendation is to have the lockers open differently so accessing belongings is easy. I only stayed one night, for longer stay I'd definitely like easier lockers.

Great stay in a clean and well-located hostel
I had a great experience staying at this hostel in Lisbon. The location is perfect — close to public transport, restaurants, and all the main attractions. The place was clean and well-maintained, with friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. Everything went smoothly, and I’d definitely stay here again.

AAnonymous UserThe room with bathroom inside the room with balcony.
No curtains on the beds, the light can bother, no privacy.
There is elevator, no problems with luggage.
There is a kitchen, but is closed in the night time.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Mmoke899I chose a room with a bathroom, which is actually the master bedroom of the house. It's quite spacious and has everything. The location is also very good. There is a subway station downstairs, and there are many supermarkets, restaurants, etc. nearby. The kitchen at home is also very easy to use and has everything. The parking situation is not clear. It may not be easy to park on the main road. Comparing the beds in the youth hostels nearby, the price was about twice as high as that in the youth hostels, but they were much more comfortable and comfortable, so I decided to change and did not continue to stay in the youth hostels. Although the landlord is not good at speaking English, he is still very enthusiastic about using translation software to communicate and help. Thank you very much. All in all, it is a very cost-effective choice. If you feel uncomfortable staying in a youth hostel, this is a good choice and highly recommended. (Note that the owner has more than one house, so different house types may not be in the same location. The two houses are not too far apart on foot for four or five minutes. Since there was no phone call in advance and the language was not well understood, the location on the map It’s just one of them, but it’s not where I live, so it doesn’t matter if I wait for a while. The specific arrangement is subject to the landlord’s arrangement)
GGuest UserThis is not a quality hotel, but it is in a great location and if you understand something about the rooms you might find it ok. We booked a superior double room and firstly it is not a double bed. The hotel told me they do not have double beds in these rooms, they are all singles pushed together. Secondly there definition of ‘superior’ is that the rooms have been recently decorated and are superior to what they used to be. The reality is that they extremely small rooms, a hanging space either side of the bed with 3 hangers, no wardrobe and no drawer space whatsoever. I think for 1 night this is manageable. Beware some sites show this room with sofas and wardrobe’s- they do not exist as a double room. These are triple rooms and these rooms are more spacious and have a double bed, wardrobe and drawers. Not all have sofas! I found all this out on a recent stay. I booked a superior double and the hotel moved me to a larger triple room. So good customer service. But in peak season I might have been stuck!
AAnonymous UserThe location was excellent, and the backyard area was wonderful—I met some very kind people there. However, when I entered the room, the smell was so strong it almost made me lose my sight. The beds were old and creaked with every movement. The person sleeping in the upper bunk sounded like he was drowning and was talking in his sleep, not to mention the other people snoring. It was only one night, and I will not repeat the experience at the same place again.
GGuest UserThe hotel is 8 kilometers from the Lisbon Passenger Transport Center and 7 kilometers from the main attractions, which is not convenient. The hotel is located on the third floor, there is no elevator, the stairs are narrow, and the luggage is a problem. The hotel room is large in size, with a balcony, windows can be opened, a public kitchen, and facilities are complete. There is a front desk on duty and check in is fast. Suitable for light traveler.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel locates at the city center of Lisbon and quite near to many of the tourism sites. It is convenient to reach anywhere by walking or by taking public transportation from the hotel. The service is quite good and the room has everything that it should have.

SStudentOverTheSeasstaffs are very welcoming. the location’s quite good as there’re supermarket, cafes and tram stations (line 28) nearby. the luggage storage is just putting your luggage on the floor, which feels not very safe. Also, someone who stayed there disturbed us RIGHT after 11pm saying that it’s the hostel’s resting time. but overall it was a good stay
