No curtains on the beds, the light can bother, no privacy.
There is elevator, no problems with luggage.
There is a kitchen, but is closed in the night time.

AAnonymous UserGiven the price, some of the issues are somewhat understandable, but the facility was significantly more dilapidated than shown in the photos, and it had a distinct odor. I was looking for an inexpensive private room, but if I had known the extent of its condition, I absolutely would have spent more money to book a different place. The chair cushions were falling apart, and the old window wouldn't open or close properly. The clothes hangers themselves looked like salvaged, dented, and paint-peeling items.

Mmoke899I chose a room with a bathroom, which is actually the master bedroom of the house. It's quite spacious and has everything. The location is also very good. There is a subway station downstairs, and there are many supermarkets, restaurants, etc. nearby. The kitchen at home is also very easy to use and has everything. The parking situation is not clear. It may not be easy to park on the main road. Comparing the beds in the youth hostels nearby, the price was about twice as high as that in the youth hostels, but they were much more comfortable and comfortable, so I decided to change and did not continue to stay in the youth hostels. Although the landlord is not good at speaking English, he is still very enthusiastic about using translation software to communicate and help. Thank you very much. All in all, it is a very cost-effective choice. If you feel uncomfortable staying in a youth hostel, this is a good choice and highly recommended. (Note that the owner has more than one house, so different house types may not be in the same location. The two houses are not too far apart on foot for four or five minutes. Since there was no phone call in advance and the language was not well understood, the location on the map It’s just one of them, but it’s not where I live, so it doesn’t matter if I wait for a while. AAnonymous UserThe location was excellent, and the backyard area was wonderful—I met some very kind people there. However, when I entered the room, the smell was so strong it almost made me lose my sight. The beds were old and creaked with every movement. The person sleeping in the upper bunk sounded like he was drowning and was talking in his sleep, not to mention the other people snoring. It was only one night, and I will not repeat the experience at the same place again.

PPingyihuiziConvenient transportation and smooth travel. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful scenery and is very convenient for sightseeing. Every area of the hotel is clean and tidy, and the bedding is comfortable and breathable. The kitchen is equipped with a self-service coffee machine, which is super convenient. The hotel staff are friendly, polite, helpful and handsome young men from Lisbon. They answer all questions and meet all requests, which is very heartwarming.

The location is very convenient—central and about a 7-minute walk from the underground. The room was clean, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Management were also responsive and accommodating when I had a few additional enquiries.
There was an unexpected issue with my bathroom, but the team handled it promptly and professionally, relocating me to another room and following up appropriately.
Overall, a well-run hotel with a strong focus on customer service, and I’d consider staying here again.

SSharon ShaminiDom Sanchio 1 is a charming rustic-style hotel with a fantastic location. It’s well-connected, with plenty of taxis, the train station, buses, and the iconic Tram 28 just around the corner. Victor and Tarsis were absolute gems—always ready with helpful recommendations and suggestions, which made our stay even better.
That said, there are some downsides. Housekeeping was very minimal, limited mostly to towel changes and a quick bed tidy-up. Breakfast was repetitive and quite basic throughout our four-day stay. The biggest challenge, however, was the bathroom—it was incredibly small, probably the tiniest I’ve ever come across in a hotel or hostel, requiring you to walk sideways just to get in.
Overall, it’s a convenient and welcoming place if location and friendly service matter most, but be prepared for the compact facilities and simple amenities.
