Hotel room doesn't have its own bathroom. Location wise it is very near the center of kalibo. Staffs are friendly. Room was clean enough. A bit of letdown was the absence of a private bathroom had to use a common one outside down the hallway.

We loved the room and the terrace. Rwally nice people that work there. Our room was cleaned daily with fresh towels which was really nice. Hotel is located close to the Willy's rock and the beach is just 2min away. Also, really nice breakfast and dinner options at the caffe/restaursnt with decent prices. A lot of options to transfer to other beaches like Puka beach but also 10/15 min walk to the boracay central mall and shops.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent stay! We had a very pleasant stay at RedDoorz Plus @ Hotel Metro Kalibo. The room was clean and well-maintained, which made us feel comfortable right away. The location is very convenient—close to key areas and easy to get around. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and always ready to help. Amenities were complete and met our needs during the stay. Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable experience. Highly recommended, especially when traveling with friends!

10min walk to the beach, shuttle bus to/from Station 2 4x a day. Clean, nice staff. Beds could have some curtains for more privacy - that's only one thing I can complain about, all other things are great

This seems to be the best hotel in the area. They have an excellent coffee bar on the top floor that faces a view of the church. The staff is accommodating and even provided us an umbrella for the heavy downpour. On our checkout, they verified the room was not damaged and called for us a trike to get us to the airport. Very happy to stay here.

Room was nice at first, light bulb was not working in the toilet. I did not bother to report it as I was too exhausted and my things are all over the place. After a few hours, the toilet becomes smelly. I had to close the door so the room wont smell like it. Also, the rooms are located at the third floor and they have no elevator. This is nice for a weekend stay. Great location as well. They also have free drinking water to refill your tumblers and have coffee. AC is working fine and the TV has many channels (local and intl). They only have one socket which is intended for the tv and cable. Good thing I brought an extension wire.

We chose this hotel for its location – it’s right across the road from the seaport and only 7 minutes from the airport. Perfect for a layover or an early flight, that’s a huge plus. The hotel itself is new (or recently renovated), you can tell by the paintwork and furniture. The bedding is good, the room isn't tiny, and the shower is relatively spacious. The air conditioning blows powerfully. Nearby, in the building next door, there's a Watsons (cosmetics, all sorts of useful bits and bobs) and a 7/11 across the street – handy if you've forgotten something and need it urgently. On the downside, there's the food. There are absolutely no cafes nearby. It's either a local greasy spoon with trans fats (like a local KFC) or hot dogs from 7/11. You couldn't stay here for a week, but for an overnight stay – it's fine. There's no kettle in the room. You'd think it's no big deal since there's a water cooler on the floor. BUT! The hot water in the cooler on our floor wasn't working, so we had to go down the stairs to the next floor for boiling water. A minor inconvenience, but annoying. The next downside is the water in the shower. In the evening, there's simply none. Neither cold nor hot – just a drip, as if someone decided to save money. Want to wash up after your journey? Wait until 5 AM. That's when the water pressure wakes up with the roosters. (No kidding, that's what we did!) And then there's the elevator – that's a whole other story. Folks, it's a nightmare. The elevator constantly gets stuck and breaks down. We had to lug our huge suitcases up and down the stairs from the fourth floor – that was annoying enough. But in the morning, when we needed to leave urgently for the airport, we got stuck in the elevator with our suitcases. Just like a bad movie! I have a panic fear of getting stuck, and here we were, pressed for time, and thoughts of 'what if it's for a long time?' started creeping in. Anyway, thanks for fixing it, but it left a significant bad taste. Verdict: This hotel is a one-time stay – if you need to be close to the port and the airport. But only if you're lucky with the water and the elevator doesn't decide to give you an extreme experience. Management, the elevator is no laughing matter, it's a safety issue, please take action!!

DDar PoliskiAbout Wald’s Place Hotel (Boracay) Location: Situated in Station 2, Balabag, Boracay—just a short stroll (4–5 minutes) from White Beach, D’Mall, and other local attractions. Facilities & Features: Property size: 18 rooms across 4 levels, built around 2014. Offers free Wi-Fi in rooms, 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, communal kitchen, and common amenities like a vending machine, TV in the lobby, and conference space (~70 m²). Breakfast is available for a fee, typically cooked-to-order. Some sources mention additional features like a seasonal outdoor pool, spa/wellness facilities including a Turkish bath, steam room, and fitness center. (Note: these amenities aren’t consistently listed elsewhere and may not reflect current offerings.) Room Types & Pricing: Room types include: Basic Quadruple Room (2 Double Beds) – sleeps 4 Standard Single Room (1 Double Bed) Deluxe Quadruple Room (1 Double Bunk Bed) As of July 2025, prices start around ₱1,205 per night (excluding taxes/fees). Guest Reviews & Ratings: The hotel’s rating on ******* is notably low—2.0 out of 10, also described as 2/10 “Terrible” in its reviews. Reported issues include poor cleanliness, cockroach sightings, and unprepared room readiness at check-in. One guest review noted an instance of cockroaches in the bed, prompting an early check-out despite the location being praised. Another user noted a sarcastic remark from staff concerning transportation pricing, contributing to a negative service impression. Contrasting reviews from Google (via other aggregators) show a more mixed experience: One praised the helpful staff, clean rooms, fresh breakfast, and well-maintained lobby. Another cited serious issues like leaking ceilings and extra charges for linen cleaning. --- Summary: Is Wald’s Place a Good Choice? Aspect Observations Location Excellent—very close to the beach, D’Mall, and Station 2 attractions Amenities Basic – includes Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, communal kitchen, and optional breakfast Room Quality Mixed – some mention leaking ceilings and cleanliness issues Service Mixed – some guests report helpful staff; others cite poor service or tone Value Affordable pricing, but negatives could outweigh savings If you're looking for a budget-friendly spot with a fantastic location, this could be an option—if you’re prepared for simplicity and potential issues. --- Alternatives You Might Consider in Boracay If the concerns above give you pause, here are some alternative recommendations in Boracay that may offer a more comfortable experience: Nearby mid-range and upscale hotels: Opt for places like Henann Regency Resort & Spa, Boracay Vacation Club, or similar resorts located in or around Station 2; they tend to offer more consistent amenities and service. Guesthouse-Style Accommodations: If you want something affordable yet reliable, search for guesthouses or pensions with strong recent reviews or popular listings on ***********, Agoda, or similar.

KKhan064I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It's cozy, quiet, charming, and was the cheapest option, leaving me with only positive impressions. I will definitely be back! Pros: 1. It's exactly 400 steps or a 5-minute leisurely walk to the beach. 2. Excellent and delicious continental breakfasts. 3. Free daily massage. 4. Welcome drink upon check-in. 5. A clean, cozy hotel where it's always quiet and peaceful. An ideal place to get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy a good night's sleep. 6. A 15-minute walk to the best beach on this island – Puka Beach. 7. Only a hostel would be cheaper. This was the most affordable booking option available. Cons: 1. The shuttle to the center runs infrequently (only in the morning or evening). 2. Remote location from shops and cafes. 3. Few tourists in the immediate vicinity. It feels a bit like being in a local ghetto. I'm only deducting a point for the infrequent shuttle service to and from the center.

AAmazing CathThank you La Bella Casa de Boracay. The staffs are friendly and helpful. As a solo traveler I love the location of the hotel. It’s 2 minutes from the beach. There’s also a church near it. I also felt safe during my trip. The location is quiet. It’s near Grotto, Coco Mama, and a few minutes walk to Sunny Side Cafe. They even upgraded my budget room for FREE into the one with own bathroom. I highly recommend it if you want a nice and affordable place to stay in Station 1 Boracay.☺️😍

GGuest UserWe enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff were accommodating, and they granted our requests whenever possible. What I really loved was how friendly the staff were—they greeted us every time, no matter how many times they saw us. Requests such as early check-in were possible as long as there was an available room. The house rules were clearly explained and not too strict. What pleasantly surprised us was that we had access to the swimming pool at La Carmela Hotel, which made our stay even more enjoyable. This place is great for simple family trips and for couples. It’s within walking distance to the beachfront and close to everything.

EElaine BernadetteTheir service is good. If you have luggage, the location can be a bit of a hassle to get to, since some areas on the way to the hotel are bumpy. I raised an issue with the heater/shower, and they addressed it promptly. Overall, this hotel offers good value for its price and service. In addition, there are discount deals tied to this hotel—just ask them about it!

HHELLO00Experience details: We stayed at their room kubo style for 2 nights. 1500 per night. Hello owner, please hear us out 😊 -No Mobile Signal due to it's remote location. - No free wifi but piso wifi is available. 50pesos for 24hrs. - Aircon on our room is below 1hp, resulting to a hot temp situation. Electric fan is already present but still not enough. Recommended hp for our room is 1hp & above to compensate it's weather especially in the afternoon. - if you are a traveller with NO Transportation vehicle , this place is not for you. The location is not accessible from the road. 5-7mins walk from the property to the main road. - If you think there is an amazing beach to swim beside this property, For us There's None. View only. You can swim but considering its color & cleanliness, i think you cannot. Nasugbu Batangas is much cleaner. - Towels must be asked. - Free breakfast ( egg, rice & coffee) other food preference are optional in the menu. - The staff are very approachable & hospitable. Very good customer service💯 - If you just want a place to stay, you can book here. Thank you for the wonderful customer service you guys have provided us. Hoping that you may consider upgrading your pool & facilities. By the way, paintings are beautiful 😍

RRCMARFAThe location is perfect because it is at the center of station 2. It is very near to most bars, restaurants, shops and the dmall. The aircon is really cold excellent. The shower is perfectly working like they have heater and spacious bathroom. The only thing we have noticed is it is not a very new hotel like the others. The floors and tires are old and hairs are somehow everywhere. The bidet in our room is not working and the room to the balcony is hard to open. The pool is now converted into a bar. But overall it was a very nice stay. The staff are nice, the price is reasonable actually it is perfect for the budget and thè breakfast inclusion is a treat.
