I am from Holland and my stay at Dar Tamatert was very good!
I liked everything. The room was so beautifully decorated and comfortable.
It's spacious and has a balcony too!
Very good location with amazing mountain views.
Very friendly family who runs the place.
Great food too!
I highly recommend this place to all travellers and tourists who visit Imlil area. Dar Tamatert is the best choice!
The staff were incredibly accommodating, and the apartment was spotless – a really pleasant stay overall. Having a large Carrefour supermarket nearby was a huge bonus, especially for those who dislike haggling, as big supermarkets are scarce in Marrakech.
It's a 20-minute walk to the train station, 20 minutes to the Majorelle Garden, and 25 minutes to the Medina. We were really happy with our choice. For us, it was ideal to be slightly outside all the chaos and just dip into it when needed. Our friends stayed in the Medina and didn't have that luxury!
A hidden gem nestled in the heart of the old medina. The location is excellent with the main attractions only a small distance away, this hotel is perfectly situated for your trip. The staff were all lovely during my trip, and went the extra mile to ensure that everything with up to standard. The hotel was clean and well kept which was great, however the WiFI didn’t work very well in my room, cutting out regularly which was a little disappointing. All in all an excellent experience!

I had a great stay at this hostel! It’s very well located — just a short walk from Jemaa el-Fna Square, right in the heart of the Medina. The place is clean, and the staff is truly dedicated to keeping everything tidy. Everyone on the team is also extremely friendly and welcoming, which makes the atmosphere even better.
The rooftop terrace is lovely, with a nice vibe and a cozy little common area.
I stayed in the female dorm, which was comfortable, but the only inconvenience is that it’s located on the ground floor, right next to the main entrance — so there’s more foot traffic and some noise. The bathroom for this area has one shower and one toilet cabin.
Towels are available for an extra fee, and you need to leave a deposit for the locker key. There’s also a small city tax to be paid at check-in.
Overall, I was satisfied with my stay and would definitely recommend this hostel!

BBarsukvzapaseA comfortable hostel with friendly staff. They always offer tea and food for an extra charge! It's clean, cozy, and in a good location. A great option for those on a short stay in Marrakech or who frequently book excursions.

AAdrianaA lovely place to stay, Marrakesh Medina is a labyrinth, we are glad that the riad (Rachid)picked us from the door the taxi left us, anyway we found the place with the instructions - map, explanations that Hasna gave us, she was kind and always ready to help with whatever we needed, Rachid also helps us with transport and information, I love the square pancakes and Mouna patiently taught me how to make it. It was a pleasant stay even though we had tours everyday we just slept in the Riad. The only downside is the bad smell from the pipes in our room toilet, we think is due to old pipes, Hasna apologised and tried to fixed it. They are aware of the problem.

MMarianne :)We had a lovely time staying at Riad dar Medina Land. Staff were fantastic and gave us a warm welcome. Breakfast was great. Great location as well, on a more hidden street but easy to walk to/from the centre and it was nice to be on the quieter side of the Medina at times. Only issue was on the first night there was a double booking so we had to stay in another riad, otherwise all good and even this situation was dealt with nicely.
Would recommend staying here!
BBill AlaouiHonestly, such a good hotel for the price. Sharing a bathroom and shower can be a little annoying but easy to work around and the staff are extremely friendly. The service is amazing, the hotel is clean, and everyone was very respectful. The location honestly is amazing, a 1 minute walk to the Medina centre where all the magic happens. I 100% recommend this hotel for those on a budget and solo travellers who just want a good place to rest.

GGuest UserWe had a wonderful time at Riad Medina D’or! From booking to our warm welcome, the delicious breakfast and the staff’s guidance, and assistance with luggage etc really made it an incredible experience. The courtyard is beautiful and a lovely place to relax.
Meloud and Zuhair went above and beyond to make it a memorable stay for us! Would love to stay again.
