Classic hotel , clean . Small’ big bath ‘on the top but offer two different type of hot spring .
(One is milky color) Nearby restaurants mainly for locals. Better book in advance, but as foreigner I dunno how . The soba shop I wanna go was closed on Sunday 😰. I top up 660yen each for Breakfast.
Great location within walking distance to jr train station. Friendly reception although do not speak much English. Great healthy bento set for breakfast available for jpy700. Clean, efficient and simple hotel. Daily offer of free snacks or drinks. Washing machine and dryer available downstairs next to reception. Microwave is available for use too.
I came here on a business trip in a truck, and the receptionist was very helpful and allowed me to park my truck in the back parking lot, which I am grateful for.
The room was very spacious and had an open feel.
The location is also convenient as you can walk to the station. The roads seemed to be quite crowded in the morning.
I would like to use this service again in the future.
The HOTEL RETOUR HIMEJI (Adults Only) is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. The HOTEL RETOUR HIMEJI (Adults Only) offers a pleasant stay in Himeji for those traveling for business or leisure. Kameyama Station is located approximately 1km away from this hotel. With Iidaomatsu Park, Nakajihayase Park and Shikama Chūō Park all within a short distance, there is no shortage of things to do in the area. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. This Himeji hotel offers parking on site.
If we ignore the ”Love Hotel” connotation, which can be a little confusing at first, the hotel is fantastic, and for this price (during the week), it's VERY difficult to find equivalent quality.
A huge TV is opposite the bed, and with a little fiddling with the cables, you can even put your computer on it...
The bed is huge and comfortable, the bathroom is large and luxurious, frankly superb, I've rarely stayed in such a good hotel.
The hotel is a bit far from the city center, and the nearest station isn't right next door, the only minor complaint.
I would happily return!!!

Satisfied with room service. However, there was something wrong with the address displayed on Ctrip. I located another hotel, dragged my luggage up and down, and finally found it at the information center, which wasted a lot of time.

AAnonymous UserThe hostel is very close to Oishi Station, only 200 meters away, just across an alley. It's a bit further from Rokko-dori Station, about a kilometer away. There are convenience stores and bakeries nearby. You can walk to Mount Rokko and Kobe University to watch the sunset and night view, a popular spot for taking photos. It's also convenient to take a bus to Kobe Sannomiya (around 200 yen). Compared to other hostels, the facilities are a bit older, and there's no elevator, so you have to carry your luggage upstairs yourself. However, it's clean and tidy. The lady who checked us in spoke English and was very friendly. There was also an elderly gentleman there at other times, who was also very nice. Initially, seeing a 4.3 rating, I was worried about a bad experience, but the actual stay was quite good.
KKangfushishuijing- LeonaThe location is superb, nestled in an alley next to Jizo-yu (a traditional Japanese bath), quiet and away from the main street, so there's no noise from passing cars or the clatter of wooden clogs.
Check-in is at 4 PM. Arriving early might mean no one's there; just leave your luggage at the door and wander around. There are security cameras everywhere, so it's very safe.
Rooms vary in size; your assigned room is entirely based on luck. But rest assured, each room has its own unique character, very Japanese, with fragrant tatami mats and thoughtful touches.
For one night's stay, each person receives two bath passes, so plan accordingly: one in the afternoon, one in the guesthouse's private bath in the evening, and one in the public bath at 7 AM the next day, then you can leave.
The meals were surprisingly delicious, all Japanese home-style dishes. We were lucky enough to get snow crab, which we loved.
The only inconvenience was communication. None of the staff at this family-run guesthouse spoke English, and even translation software wasn't accurate. Basically, they spoke their Japanese, I spoke my English, and my friend spoke Chinese—a three-way conversation! However, the owners were very welcoming.
GGuest UserI made a reservation on the day, so I gave up the parking lot and stopped nearby. I should have gone to the partner, but I was relieved that the parking lot I used all the time, so
But the room was clean and I was able to stay on the day, so I think it was good.
I stayed in Osaka to go to see live performances, so I had a meal, but I didn't eat, so I don't know a little, but I wish I had a pot in my room that I could drink tea.
GGuest UserLoved this nice little place. Excellent location right near the Nada station and bus 92.
My private room was larger than expected, great AC, opposite the showers and toilet. Most important the bed was very comfortable! There is a train passing by now and then. I didn’t bother and slept well. There are free earplugs available. If you can sleep in a train, you won’t have any problem to sleep here.
On the 1F a kitchen, relax and meetup area. Great to meet and talk with the other guests.
Staff was excellent, very welcoming, in English 🙃.

Number of Guests/Purpose: 2 people, Sightseeing
Overall Rating: B
Pros:
* The room was clean and looked exactly like the photos.
* Wi-Fi was available.
* Check-in was smooth.
* Rental service for boots and umbrellas was provided.
* Came with tickets for touring Kinosaki Onsen, and the room had a convenient onsen set for taking out.
* There are private baths within the building.
Cons:
* The room felt a bit old.
* At night, hotel staff were loudly arguing outside the annex, which left a bad impression.
Location/Surroundings:
* About a 10-minute walk from the station. It felt a bit of a walk, but being in the center of the onsen town made access to all hot springs excellent.
Host's Service:
* Friendly and good service.
Summary:
Considering the price and location, it was good. However, it's not somewhere I'd definitely want to stay again, but rather I'd be interested in trying other ryokans next time.
SSun PierreA very good youth hostel. The front desk is very friendly and the explanations are very clear. It is located in Zuo Shopping Street, very close to Himeji Castle. It is only a five-minute walk away. There are many restaurants nearby. I will definitely stay here again!!!
GGuest UserIt is a cheap Japanese-style hotel in Arima Onsen. The store is friendly and amiable. The breakfast is great and worth the money. There is a gold and silver hot spring in the store, you can go there directly and play table tennis after the bath. One thing to note is that if you have large luggage, you can discuss with the store to stay on the second floor, as there is no elevator in the hotel.
OOnlykianthe food is most generous and sumptous, and very high standard. We stayed in couple room with a private onsen tub. This make our stay most memorable as my wife was recovering from a major surgery. When we request the staff to add another layer to the futon mattress, he told us to do it on our own since the futon are in the room. When we told him that my wife is unable to do so due to the surgey, he oblidge to our request but unhappily. Apart from this unpleasant encounter, we decided to return again to this place.
GGuest UserNice hotel nice location spoiled by **** lady staff. Maybe she really hate Asian. Everything is No! I asked how much the buffet as I was hungry upon checked in and saw they have food behind the counter. When I was going to find a seat outdoor with sea view, I was chased away by her without even given a menu or a chance to sit down. So rude!! I’m not there for free food or free seat!! I’m paying ok. The room at 2nd floor is blocked by the roof of the restaurant, waste my money for this stay.
GGuest UserThe town isn't very lively, but it's perfect for seeing authentic Japan, far from the tourists! The owners are very kind, and the Japanese-style room is beautiful. They even offered us tea and beautiful kimonos in the room.
