2-Star Hotels in Lower-Saxony, Germany

We came to the Christmas market in this picturesque city with a perfect face. The hotel is in the heart of Celle This makes you stand on the edge of this Christmas market. The reception in the nearby restaurant was good and was brought to the hotel by Mrs. Great large room at the first floor. The kings of the shower can be cleaner but not serious. Prima residence

It's a nice little bed and breakfast. It's old, and it shows in certain amnesties like no socket in the bathroom. Which means you've to blow dry your hair in the sleeping room. The beds are old, too. 😅 However, the rooms are spacious and clean! Unfortunately, the internet didn't work for me, at all. You are only a 3 minute walk away from a supermarket, and there are several restaurants around. The bakery across the street is amazing and delicious. And the breakfast at the b&b is typical for Germans. I really loved the hot boiled eggs. They were fresh and still hot. The breakfast is plenty! You can't do anything wrong for the price!

There will be no private bathroom and elevator. My room has odd smell (from paint smell?). The public facilities are okay clean. One of the shower didn’t work properly and the light automatically turned themselves off quickly. I had to wave my hands multiple times directly under the detector when I was showering. Location is not convenient. I arrived during weekend and I can’t find any supermarket still open nearby. I had to go back to hbf eventually. But if you prepare well it is okay. Overall it is acceptable.

Nice and clean at a good price. The room was sufficient for a family staying one night. Bed and toilet door needed to be tightend as they were very noisy an vending machine gave the wrong product but staff was not helpful. I think the ”service-lack” was due to understaffing. Looked like 1 guy had to take care of both breakfast and reception and we saw nobody in reception from morning and until we left at 12.

The room was very friendly furnished and the beds were comfortable. Unfortunately there was a unpleasant smell in the bathroom - I would say after the deflux. Although we were confirmed at the reception that you would take care of it immediately, it smelled in the night when we came back, unfortunately, even as penetrant.

The hotel has a very good photographer because the pictures promise more than it is actually. In fact, more a hostel than a hotel, in container construction. But it is good to reach, parking is sufficient and the charges are very visible. The container construction is used to be necessary, but the rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. Only the bathroom is VERY small, especially the washing basin, and shower hangs are not really practicable if you want to avoid floods. The shower baths need urgently a swallow. The shower can cause serious injuries in the current conditions if you don't care very well. The breakfast room has a beautiful atmosphere and the buffet offers everything you can wish. The service is immediately on the site if something is missing. All in all through good breakfast a very good price-performance ratio if you book with the right expectations here.

Das Hostel ist an sich ganz okay. Es liegt sehr gut und zentral, alles ist fußläufig zu erreichen wie zB den Hauptbahnhof, die Innenstadt, diverse Restaurants und Bistro, die Uni, Kultureinrichtungen etc. Die Zimmer sind sehr klein und ohne Fenster, dafür aber mit Waschbecken. Die Zimmer sind top sauber! Handtücher werden gestellt, Hausschuhe nicht. Ein Fernseher ist nicht vorhanden. Gemeinschaftsduschen und -Toiletten. Es gibt keine Duschkabinen, es sind quasi offene Duschen.

They’re only small and relatively unfurnished. There’s no air-conditioning. Checkin was easy and the staff was great. The word airport is in the name, it’s not very close to the airport. However, there is a bus that leaves right outside the door. Overall state was decent, good place to sleep. Good places to eat nearby.

We stayed here with family and had a very pleasant experience. The room was clean, tidy, and spacious enough for us, and the bedding felt safe and fresh for the kids. One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is the free on-site parking, which made our road trip so much easier.

Lovely stay at Hotel Aegidienhof. The location is excellent, and the owner gave such a warm and welcoming reception. The property is over 100 years old but beautifully maintained, full of charm and character. The room was spacious, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious 😍
