It was above my expectations. I stayed at hampton the earlier day and then shifted here to accommodate with my budget. Indeed turned out the same experience, even better . Clean and tidy. Nice ambience.
The motel is cheap and clean. Parking right out front of your room. Try to get a room on the back side. There is a wooded area on the back, a park, with trails. The motel is nicely renovated with decent design. The carpets outside in the open-air hallways need to be cleaned desperately. Service was normal (the East Indian guy working quickly had us checked-in).
Best priced accoms in banff during summer, very well equiped with shower gel, hot water, hair dryer, laundry, cafe for breakfast and dinner. Hostel provides free roam transit bus pass for routes 1, 2, 4, 6 and is valid for 3 days, very useful to get to town and around even lake minnewanka, two jack, johnson and cascade ponds! Comfortable room, top notch service.
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The swimming pool was great for children, which was a big plus for our family. Everything was well maintained, and the atmosphere was pleasant. We truly liked our experience and would be happy to stay here again.
Good room and spacious. The bathroom is a bit small. Everything is clean and delicious breakfast. However, way excessive use of plastic ( plastic cover on each single use cup!).
The breakfast is relatively simple. The only regret is that the breakfast is made of plastic plates. If you need hot eggs, you can only use a plastic tray to heat the microwave. The reception is very good and the room is clean and quite large. It was found that the air-conditioners of cheap hotels in North America are as loud as tractors. They are all domestically produced, the kind of products that were made more than a decade ago. This hotel is scheduled to be Samsung's, compared to the domestic, it should be Hanting. At the same time found that the foreign hotel star rating can not believe, the day before yesterday lived in a hotel in the United States, plaza inn, Samsung, because with the inn, I thought it was good, the results are vomiting, the room door is on the side of the road, the room is The stupidity of the feet, the smell of smoke, and the flies make people creepy. The next day, Cangjie left, and the computer sea fell to the ghost place. Fortunately, the hotel that stayed last night was particularly good. It was a suite, similar to the domestic five-star, and it felt like returning to hell from hell.

The hotel is located in Hinton, 70 kilometers away from Jasper Town. During the tourist season, Jasper hotels are not easy to book. The hotel here in Hinton is a good choice. There are also many large supermarkets and restaurants around, which is convenient for supply.
When we went on June 20, the road at the entrance of the hotel was under construction. Check-in is still very convenient, free parking, but you need to inform the front desk license plate number, vehicle color brand and other messages. Check out - you need to put the key in the KeyBox at the front desk door.
Motel, room facilities are relatively old, provide refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine, bathroom bath ~ provide soap, no shampoo, shower gel, hair dryer. As a simple excessive night, the requirements are not high and can be received.
There is self-service laundry, laundry 2 Canadian dollars, drying clothes 2 Canadian dollars, the counter staff is very enthusiastic, I have no Canadian change, she also assisted me in these things

GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is very close to the shopping mall, which is convenient for shopping
GGuest UserWe chose this hotel at random while driving down the highway. We were VERY glad that we did. The following day, we kept congratulating ourselves on the great choice.
It was very easy easy to get to off the highway. But yet it was protected from the busy highway noise.
The staff were absolutely 5-Star. Every single individual that we encountered, both hotel and restaurant, seemed to be genuinely friendly and professional. Specail shout-out to: Jei, Jasmeen, and Maltin. ( hopefully i got the correct names)
We used the pool in the evening, and it was a surprisingly nice facility for the price of the hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed it until an excessively noisy family showed up with undisciplined kids. But that's not on the hotel.
I don't know why the restaurant was empty because it was exceptionally good food and good service. Even the breakfast buffet was far above most free breakfasts that are on offer.
The guestrooms were very quiet (even the a/c fan was quiet). Beds were comfortable. Good quality linens, pillows and towels. Beds were especially comfortable and seemed new. Carpet looked new.
The only thing I might suggest for the rooms is that they might add a floor lamp to improve the lighting. Also, they might think about bringing up the quality of bathroom amenities to current trend in higher quality in larger affixed bottles instead of small disposables
It's obvious that they're gradually upgrading an older property and haven't gotten to the hallway paint yet. But that doesn't affect the guestrooms experience.
I highly recommend this property.
GGuest UserThis motel is not Econo Lodge in & suites university. Which we stayed also, and was much better than this one (econo lodge motel village).
The room was small and the bathroom smelled unpleasant. The smell came from the shower curtain, which touches the bath tub water. When taking a shower, the water doesn't drain as fast so your feet end up soaking in that water along with the smelly fabric shower curtain. Also, the bath was weirdly higher than the ground so be very careful when getting in. During our stay, there were several bugs that found their way into our room during the night (Mosquitos, flies). The buzzing sound prevented us to sleep so we had to kill the bugs and go back to sleep each time. We also had problems with our room key, we had them replaced several times and you have to slide the card quite a few times before it unlocks. I think it's loose and you need to get the exact right angle, which is annoying when you have your hands full. I recommend the other econolodge situated behind this one. The staffs here are very friendly. For breakfast, they offered coffee, tea but without lids. There's bread and juice served in a solocup (but u can just use the coffee cup). There were muffins. If you have allergies, I suggest you to bring your own food. The price for this motel vs the other econolodge were the same. We try to avoid staying at the same place for our whole trip in case we don't like our room but we ended regretting not booking the other econolodge for our entire trip.

AAMissGreat hotel. Grabbed the cheapest room possible for my sister to come along with the hubby and I but wanted our own privacy. Got her the single queen bed room. It was REALLY nice. The value for money was exceptional and the breakfast was fantastic!
GGuest UserThis was a convenient place for us to stay, close to our niece for a visit. The staff were very nice, welcoming and friendly. However, the Inn is very old and it shows. It needs fresh carpets, paint and although the lady preparing the free breakfast was wonderful, the facilities and variety of food was very poor. It was set up in what appeared to be a converted hotel room on the 3rd floor, so not very roomy for the number of guests attending. There was pancakes, toast, boiled eggs, some yogurt and fruit and coffee. We didn't bother, especially as there was a lineup out into the hallway.
GGuest UserLeft our keys in the room and the front desk gentleman was kind and efficient and quick to get us a new one and comforted us that it was no problem at all
GGuest UserWebsite and receipt said breakfast included but not the case. Manager was not in so front desk called him/her and refunded us $10 per person. Otherwise the place is new and clean.
GGuest UserThe place was really clean and very quiet and peaceful. The sheets smelled fresh and the toilet was clean as well. They even had free shampoo. Did not use their facilities nor their service, but their staff were really friendly. The breakfast spread was quite small, but it was enough. Located very near the Banff train station, which made travelling a lot easier. Overall a really pleasant stay!

JJun-jun0424You get what you paid for. If you are looking for a very affordable place to stay and your only concern is your budget then this is your go to place in Edmonton area. Location wise, it is in an odd place and there aren't shops close to this location so you'll have to go out and drive if you need to buy something. With regards to service, they went above and beyond my requests and are super friendly and welcoming. I requested for a portable heater because they have no way to adjust the heat temp in each room (it's centralized) and they offered me this option for free. Their TVs are smart TV and I'm super amazed because you don't get this in bigger 3 star hotels where you pay almost double the price of what you pay here! You will just have to request in the front desk for the TV's remote control if you want to use the smart tv features like logging in on your streaming apps or casting/mirroring videos from your phone or tablets to the TV's screen..
GGuest UserI stayed for only 1 night and was super excited and ready to rave about this place when I first got to the hotel. The front desk person was great. The place is a lil run down but I don't mind. Got the themed room with a jacuzzi tub which was super cute and smelled super clean - but again a slightly run down. As cute as the bed was, it was SO uncomfortable. It was so stiff it didn't feel like there was an actual mattress on it while also being uneven. The more time i was in the room i noticed that it wasn't fully cleaned properly and found some stray litter from previous guests. When i went to leave I asked about the airport shuttle I arrived at the airport on. During check in i didn't notice the sign saying it needed to be pre booked the night before. The front desk working just said i had to find another way to the airport and left it at that.
