We had a great stay at the Pollera. Many of the 4 or 5 star hotels we looked at were lovely but after some research we realised the Pollera was in an equally great location, maybe 1 to 2 minutes walk away from such hotels, but way cheaper! The hotel is in traditional Polish style which we really enjoyed. The rooms were large and comfortable and had everything we needed. We slept well and had zero issues. The staff were very helpful and kind too! We did not have breakfast at the property as we noticed there were many cafes and bakeries nearby and this worked better for us. As mentioned though, the location was the real draw! We were a 3 minute walk (if that) away from the main square and a similar walk away from what seemed to be the main high street. The hotel is around 20 minutes from the airport and cost us PLN 80 in an uber. Other than that journey, we were pretty much able to walk everywhere. Any trips we went on picked up from a location that was a 7 minute walk away too.
Overall, a great hotel with traditional charm. Great value for money!
Arleta was kind and efficient. She made sure to deliver the keys to us even when we didn’t manage to check in until almost 4am. The conditions of the room were good, bottles of water were left for us and the beds were super comfortable.
I congratulate the Staff as I am very grateful for this experience.
The hotel is well situated in the old quarter. Very convenient for getting around. The tram stop is right out front.
Our room was an odd setup. Twin beds positioned on different walls, more like for college roommates than a couple. The rooms aren't big, but they have kettle, closet, and a compact bathroom. It met our needs, with no extras, e.g., fridge or USB charging plugs.
Breakfast buffet has many options. It caters primarily to European tastes, but there are scrambled eggs and toasts for those who prefer a hot breakfast. The coffee options are plentiful and there were several types of tea. At $25CDN per person, we found it on the high side.
Tip: On arriving at the hotel we were faced with a long flight of stairs. With 2 large suitcases, it was a bit daunting. However, if you follow the sidewalk to the other side there is a ramp. Definitely a better option for people with bad knees or heavy bags.
Shalom Kazimierz located in the Katzimizh district of Krakow, Poland, which is famous for its Jewish cultural history, and the restaurant is a warm dining place that combines traditional Jewish flavors with modern cooking skills.
Transportation
The restaurant is conveniently located within walking distance of many of Katsimir's famous attractions such as the Jewish Museum and the Old synagogue. It takes about 15 minutes by tram from the old city of Krakow to make it easy for travelers to explore the area. There are also street parking spaces nearby, suitable for self-driving tourists.
Food
The food is mainly Jewish traditional dishes. The menu ”Cholent” (beef and beans) and ”Latkes” (potato pancakes) are must-order classics, with freshly baked Jewish bread, which is delicious. The chefs in the restaurant have a clever balance of taste. And choose high quality ingredients, whether vegetarian or meat lovers can find favorite dishes. Special desserts such as ”Kugel” are recommended, sweet and not greasy, very special.
Facilities and ambiance
Nice hotel, clean, very good breakfast.
A night without a good sleep
On March 29, there was a quarrel in the next room 202 all night.
As soon as I entered the room, my next door neighbor started.
Originally, the two drunk people were happily chatting and singing in the room, but then a few more people came in and started shouting loudly, which lasted for about two hours before they left. midnight……
1:15 someone came in
At 4:50, a man came in, started taking a shower, and began talking.
The strange thing is that I don’t get drunk.
The room is not soundproofed and I can hear it very clearly.
It was a very good experience because I had a fun trip with friends together, forming a good atmosphere between friends, it was a relaxing place that made me go to a place that never been to.
A perfect hotel that I adore!
1. Superb location: 3-5 minute walk to Vietnamese restaurants catering to Chinese tastes, as well as many other Asian restaurants.
2. I absolutely love the hotel's decor! Industrial style, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is also good.
3. The front desk provides a map at check-in.
4. 15-minute walk to the main square, about 20 minutes to the castle (the one with the fire-breathing dragon).
5. You can check in first, store your luggage, and then go out to explore.
6. There are two bottles of water, paper and pens, Wi-Fi, toiletries, and a toothbrush cup (no toothbrush).
7. The bedding is very comfortable and soft, and it's very quiet at night.
Incredibly high value for money! I love it! I'll definitely come back and recommend it to friends.
Relaxed Hampton hotel with parking option (surcharged, if remember correctly, but not too expensive). Nice location for Auschwitz, Krakau, Trip to Ukraine / Slovakia and Energylandia.
Very friendly and kind staff at reception and breakfast buffet. Buffet is very decent and everybody will be served plenty (cold cuts, yoghurt + musli, fruits, eggs + sausages, all coffee types (incl. cappuccino).
Trip.com was cheaper than booking in hotel, better to compare!
For us best option around - checked also other hotels around, but here you get a Hilton daughter quality for just a bit more than other options around.
Room was clean, bed comfy (bit on soft side).
Fitness room has multifunctional machine + dumbbells and bench + cardio options - enough!
Nice hotel, fully recommend!
The room is quite nice and clean, and the service is great. However, the elevator is a bit dodgy, and the building's staircase is generally in poor condition.
Overall, it’s a good clean place to stay for 1–2 nights. Despite its central location, the area is quite peaceful. If you book a room on the 3rd floor, you might hear some noise from the room right in front of yours. I appreciated the coffee machine with capsules — a nice touch.
However, there were a few downsides: the two single duvets were quite small, and I felt cold; a larger, warmer duvet would be preferable. The mansard room isn’t ideal for tall people, and the shower tended to clog quickly. Also, the showerhead holder was placed too high. Lastly, the carpeted floor made it difficult to drag a heavy suitcase around.

Amazing
YYana MontenegroOur stay was perfect. We were looking for the closest hotel to the airport, as my husband wasn’t feeling well and we missed our flight.
The receptionist were amazing trying to help us with making my husband feeling more comfortable.
Breakfast seems to have a good selection, but unfortunately we couldn’t have it.
Extremely clean rooms.
UUrszula ZiółkowskaA wonderful, cozy apartment in the very heart of Zakopane, a few steps from Krupówki and other attractions. It's very convenient both for hiking and skiing, as it is very easy to get from there to Tatra Mountains trails and ski lifts. Also, a very helpful lady at the main reception desk. I would gladly return to this place.
EEliz RahmanOur stay in Krakow was perfect especially the hotel we stayed in was nice and comfortable. We would love to come here again should we go to Krakow in the coming years.

GGuest UserI really liked the Columbus Hotel. It's just a few minutes' walk from Grzegorzki train station, which is the next stop after the main station Rynek, coming from the airport. I was in a twin room with a balcony, bathtub, fridge, complimentary water, toiletries. Lovely, bright and clean, comfy beds and nice bedding. Breakfast was delicious. The scrambled egg and little sausages were so tasty. The cakes were lovely with coffee afterwards. Also cereal, meats, cheese, fruit, yoghurt and breads and juices. Lovely and quiet, never heard a sound from other guests in their rooms. A real calm and relaxed vibe. There's also an outdoor seating area and a shop across the road. The tram stops are just to the side and are so easy and frequent. Ticket machines are at the stop, or you can pay on board. Don't forget to validate your ticket. Great base for exploring the Jewish quarter and ghetto, Schindler Factory Museum and don't miss the Plaszow guided tour, a highlight so far. Tram 3 and 24 takes you there from outside hotel and coats 4 zlotys. They are in the process of building a museum there, so it's going to be much busier in the future. Go now while its not as well known. I would definitely return to Columbus hotel, an excellent choice, enjoy!

*Lovely spacious rooms with nicely refurbished bathrooms.
*The breakfast area looks presentable with a fairly decent selection.
*Bottled water is provided daily, you just have to make sure you hang the sign to request to clean the room.
*Hotel is centrally located right by the square. It’s near grocery stores, restaurants, donut/pastry shops & souvenir shops.
CONS
*The carpets “looked” dirty & old, not very pleasing to look at but they’re not - just gives that impression!
*The main downside for me is the noise. Our room was facing the front which is where pedestrians walk through to the square. Earplugs were supplied by Hotel but they didn’t make a difference. There were loud revellers until 4:30am daily, then once that ends, the delivery trucks & refuse collectors pass through which were just as loud! Needless to say I didn’t get a full night sleep for 4 nights.
Overall, it’s a clean & very reasonably priced hotel. May I also add we are a group that booked 4 rooms. 2 rooms were in the quiet side but the other 2 were in the noisy part. Not all rooms are the same. However, if you can sleep through anything then this wouldn’t be as much of an issue as it was for me.
GGuest UserFantastic hotel! Staff was super friendly and helpful. The location is great on one of the main tram lines and close to the bus and train stations. Room and bathroom were the perfect size and the bed was big and comfortable. Really enjoyed the fresh water dispenser in the hall for refilling water bottles and having cups of tea after coming in from the cold. Room and lobby were very clean and the bar/food counter in the lobby was great!
Ppdp11This is a nice small apartment. The kitchen has a saucepan and frying pan with a few utensils, which are enough for basic cooking. The fridge is handy.
The shower is warm and has good pressure. The air conditioning works.
I was on the top floor. There's a lift. I had a balcony overlooking the cemetery.
The basement has a washing machine but I didn't try it.
It's about a 12 minute walk to Krakov Glowny station. From there, it's about 10 minutes to the main square and another 20 minutes to the old town.
Communication with the property owner was good and generally fast.
Contrary to the Trip listing (May 2026), this apartment has no front desk. As I later read in a review, it's self check-in. Unfortunately, the instructions weren't sent to me. I called the property when I was there and they sent them via WhatsApp. Make sure you have the instructions before you go! I wasted time trying to use the QR code on the front door. This is not for the apartment.
I wanted to extend my stay but the property was booked.
I left my water bottle behind. The owner arranged for the service staff to meet me the following day to return it.

GGuest UserIt's about a 5-minute walk from Krakow Central Station, and about a 10-minute walk from Krakow's Old Town, and other tourist attractions are within walking distance.
There's a convenience store just a 1-minute walk away. The building is old, as it's close to the Old Town. The staff are cheerful and friendly.
I also went to the Auschwitz Concentration Camp Museum and the Weliczka Salt Mine, so I would be using Krakow Central Station as a base for sightseeing, so it was important that the hotel was close to the station. I decided on this hotel because it was the best value for money.
It turned out to be a good choice.
By the way, there is no air conditioning or refrigerator. This is common in Europe.
