GGuest UserI had a very pleasant stay at NH Centre Utrecht and would recommend it, especially for short business trips or city visits.
The location is the biggest advantage — right in the historic center, within walking distance of restaurants, cafés, shops, and key sights like the Dom Tower. Getting around the city is extremely easy, and everything you might need after work is just a few minutes away.
The staff were friendly and helpful, making check-in and check-out smooth. They were also happy to give directions and local tips, which made the stay more comfortable.
The room was clean and well maintained, with all the essentials like good Wi-Fi, a comfortable bed, and basic amenities. It’s worth noting that the rooms are a bit on the smaller side, which is common for central European city hotels, but still perfectly functional for a short stay.
A small downside is that you may hear some street noise depending on your room location, and the building has a more classic style rather than a modern business-hotel feel. Still, for the price and location, it offers very good value.

However, it's worth noting that the location might be a bit far from the train station, making a personal vehicle quite advantageous for getting around. The rooms, while comfortable, were on the smaller side. Despite the slightly remote location and smaller rooms, the delightful atmosphere and wonderful staff.

GGuest UserThe stay itself was fine. The room was neat and clean, and the service was friendly. However, the price of the room was very high. This was despite the fact that the floor I was on was being renovated, meaning you step into a dilapidated building first. This was not mentioned during booking and was therefore an unpleasant surprise.
The hotel does not serve meat at breakfast. A letdown. Yet, they do charge the standard price charged in hotels.
The price, the lack of bacon at breakfast, and the unpleasant surprise of the renovation have ensured that I will not go elsewhere in the future if I am in the area. Not worth repeating.

GGuest UserIn terms of hygiene, the shower wasn't clean (hair from previous guests).
The location is excellent and easily accessible. The service is excellent, and even with bacteria (enterococci) in the water, they do offer bottled water. Breakfast was a bit behind schedule on Sundays, not quite prepared for peak times. The breakfast menu could be better structured.
They do have parking, but they could do with some more maintenance in the parking garage due to clogged drains, which cause water to pool on the deck, resulting in large puddles.

GGuest UserAt the entrance of the parking, there is a small panel with a P (such as parking) with (in English) Reserved to our guests, but at the reception I was told that the parking was paying, not cheap, I must admit, but yet. And the ground of the shower had a defect that made there always was water that sleeps, and that I found at my arrival, which means cleaning leaves to desire.

GGuest UserAll very good, service and hospitality, a beautiful and good (and affordable) restaurant on the property, fine bed, very clean etc. And especially: unlimited free coffee and tea, fruit. The only thing I regret is that the doors fall hard in the lock (wood on wood) in the building where we were sleeping, and I stopped the door softly, but it is not all. Between 22.30 and 6.30 hour the mouse is still before and after that is accepting that issue. It would be nice if something was done. All together: enjoy our stay.
