I had an early morning flight the next day, so I chose to stay overnight near the airport. I initially thought it was a capsule hotel and didn't expect much arriving early, but it turned out to be a huge bathhouse with all sorts of facilities! After soaking in the hot spring, there were various relaxation areas, a ping-pong room, and a gym. The bathhouse itself was also very spacious. After showering, they sold milk, had various vending machines, and even a small shop. I really regretted arriving so late! There's a shuttle bus for Terminals 2 and 3, but not for Terminal 1. You'll need to take another airport shuttle from there. Terminal 2 has the most frequent services, from platform 23B on the 1st floor (it's at the end of the central lane after you exit, the sign looks a bit makeshift and was a little hard to find).
too much convenient, it's just right beside the station MAKUHARI TOYOSUNA, which is just a station away from MAKUHARI MESSE event hall, or probably we can just walk via AEON to arrive at MAKUHARI MESSE.
Hotel staff are friendly and approachable, check-in process was also quick via the automated machine (check-out can be done via the TV in the room!). Amenities are all available at the lobby, they restock them up real fast, i never see them going empty at all despite i had been walking in out several times during the day! Wide range for facilities on rental, got myself the iron and hair straightener was helpful.
Charging cable for microusb/typeC/lightning was already available in the desk drawer for quick access as well. Wonderful room layout with the table right beside the bed for easy access to anything, even though there's space made for phone on charging at the bedside. Love the bedside lamp as well, then the massager, the air purifier, their choice of shampoo with KNOLL series! Nothing going extra in the room or anything i need but wasn't available. There's even an accessory case on the table!!!!
Would like to visit Hotel Mets again, some other branches even if im not off for events at MAKUHARI MESSE like this time round. Came on a solo trip with a big suitcase, with sufficient space, it should get crampy with 2 pax, but way wide for a single traveller.
Keep it up guys! I had so much a wonderful stay this time round, which my cousin did as well when i found this hotel for her, she herself loved this hotel soooooooooo much!
I've stayed at many Toyoko Inn hotels before, but this was my first time at the Narita Airport branch. I originally booked a single room for myself, but they upgraded me to a twin room, which was incredibly spacious. Being on a high floor and a corner room, I had an unobstructed view outside. I was worried it might be noisy staying near the airport, but to my surprise, it was very quiet with no disruptive sounds. There's a shuttle bus to and from the airport every 20 minutes, which is super convenient. The only downside was that I wanted to store my luggage overnight, but the hotel only allows same-day storage.
The hotel is highly accessible and much closer if you use the Narita Station East Exit. It is an easy, walkable distance and very luggage-friendly. The staff provides excellent service, and I highly recommend trying their buffet-style breakfast. The food was fantastic—especially the unagi rice, Japanese curry, and miso soup (though of course, tastes may vary!). The room size is pretty standard for Japan. Please note that while they provide a convenient shuttle service to Narita Airport, they do not offer a pickup service from the airport.
Nice staffs. Walk 5-10 mins from station. Free breakfast from 5-8am. AC-Heat in room was good. Sorry quite low cost quality Shampoo & Bath, better prepare yourself. Water station on lobby G floor. Luggage scale provided at lobby.
The room isn't big, but it's sufficient. It was very clean and reasonably priced. However, the daily cleaning wasn't satisfactory; they basically never washed the cups (am I, the guest, supposed to wash them myself?) and didn't restock the disposable toiletries in the bathroom. I wasn't very happy with that.
Narita Airport Immigration clearance took quite a long time ( mine was a full flight) and queue was long. Maybe because Narita still haven't implemented Automated Lane, Face verification, etc... which other well known airports have implemented. So it was a big stress to try to catch the hotel shuttle at 8.50 pm at Bus stop 16 outside.
Our room has a view of the Temple at Omotesando Street where we could walk 10 min to reach for shopping, food,...
Hotel Breakfast is good with great variety and worth to purchase.
The hotel offers a shuttle bus to Nishi-Funabashi Station, which is very convenient. Self-check-in and check-out are also very handy. Although the room is small, the attention to detail is excellent. The price is also very reasonable! If you need to buy anything in the eastern area, it's best to do so at Nishi-Funabashi Station before taking the hotel shuttle back. For those unfamiliar with the area, you can check the official website. Breakfast is on the 14th floor and offers a nice view!
This is a great hotel! While you can tell it's a bit older, the building and facilities are incredibly well-maintained, clean, and tidy. The interior has a charming, traditional Japanese style. It's a small place but has everything you need. The front desk staff, both younger and older, were incredibly polite, friendly, and professional. They were very thoughtful about storing and moving my luggage. The room was meticulously cleaned, and it was quiet and comfortable to stay in at night. The location is also excellent; it's a five-minute walk to JR Narita Station, with plenty of dining options nearby. Narita Omotesando and Shinsho-ji Temple are just a ten-minute walk away. I highly recommend staying here if you're passing through Narita on your way to Tokyo.
First time in Chiba, and choosing this hotel was absolutely the right decision. It's a three to five-minute walk from Chiba Station, making getting around super convenient. The Perie mall at Chiba Station is also fantastic for shopping and dining, and it even offers duty-free services. Although the hotel is a bit older, the facilities are well-maintained, clean, tidy, and attention to detail is evident. You can choose daily housekeeping or just towel changes. If you opt for just towel changes, the staff will hang a bag with fresh towels on your doorknob and even provide a complimentary bottle of water, which is a nice touch! The front desk on the second floor offers free toiletries, tea bags, and coffee sachets, which is great! The front desk staff and floor attendants are all warm and polite, making for a very pleasant experience. A Japanese male staff member at the front desk, whose name tag read Kudo, even spoke Chinese, which made communication seamless. I have two suggestions: first, it would be perfect if the TV had screen mirroring functionality, and second, the queen-sized mattress has a slight dip in the middle and should probably be replaced.

Very Good
DDantianniziThe hotel provides a shuttle bus service to Disneyland and the subway station, which was really convenient for our trip to Disneyland the next day. The only slight inconvenience is that it's a bit of a walk, about 1.2 kilometers, from the subway station. However, the hotel's location around Tokyo Bay is quite peaceful, and you can even enjoy sea views.

JJRCaliLocation was great! right by the west exit for JR Chiba station - very luggage friendly station as well a 24hr Lawson right outside the 2nd floor entrance and a 7/11 down on the ground floor. Staff were polite, easy self storage for luggage by the check in area. Self check in was great, amenities and robes by the elevator before heading up and overall loation is perfect for sightseeing and oneward travels to and from Narita airport or into Tokyo.
GGuest UserWe were looking forward to the The Farm stay to end our fiat Japan trip. We were 3 kids below 10 and 2 adults. The best parts of the trip were,
1. Staff - mai and Narumi were very helpful. Mai especially took a lot of trouble to explain everything at the farm by using Google translate. Even the staff at the cafe at breakfast time and reception were all very very nice, though I don’t have their names.
2. Hot springs - was super experience and we loved it. Everything clean and proper and very comfortable, even though we were walking around naked.
3. Rooms- I stayed at Habita. It was good and kids loved it quite a bit. The loft, the futon on top, though the projector didn’t work too well.
4. Strawberry farm trip was amazing. The strawberries were all super nice and melting in the mouth with the right textures and flavours.
Even better if?
1. BBQ- we wanted to do a bbq. Habita package didn’t come with free BBQ. The cost to do one was crazy expensive. 3,300 per adult and 2,200 per child just for ‘equipment’ cost. That’s 13,000yen or around USD80, without any meats or anything. Felt really excessive, so we opted out.
2. Board and card games- our family wanted to play some board games and there were plenty of those at the reception. When we asked if we could get a pack of UNO, we were told it was only for the ‘cottage’ occupants. Considering most of the property was empty, it was a bit sad that they did not allow us a pack to play with.
3. Though not the fault of the property, the lack of any public transport and the very taxi costs to outside world for anything was a negative. It would have been even better if they could arrange a couple of more shuttles to narita or to local town etc.

KKei.missingWhat a place to stay !! For a first Onsen style capsule pod hotel, this blew all expectations out the water. Massage facilities as well as electric massage chairs, study/work nooks, a shop, and four restaurants to cater any craving needs. Remove your shoes immediately and place them in a locker (located to the right when you enter the hotel). Exceptionally clean facilities, the onsen has numerous washing areas, a cold plunge pool, Sauna (90-100°C), Jacuzzi bath, three mineral hot baths, and outdoor hot bath, plus Ion bath. The Onsen is open until 1am and is busy from 5pm-10pm daily.
Massages start from around 2000¥
Sleeping pods are spacious, although the lockable lockers within the pods are around 9 inches deep. There’s a hanging rail, and beside the sleeping area you’ll find a TV, power outlet, and standard USB charging point.
Access: The hotel is located on the 1st floor. Use the outdoor escalators beside the bus terminal. There’s a McDonalds plus various other eateries and shops within the shopping mall, including a supermarket that sells everything from lighting, small/large electronics, and bicycles.
If you’re visiting Makuhari Messe like I did, Uber will cost you 2000-3000¥ each way - taking around 10 minutes in peak hour traffic.
The local staffed train station is located beside the Bus Terminal, providing decently quick access into Tokyo.
Staff were extremely friendly, smiling, and always happy to help.
There is a smokers lounge room within the hotel.
GGuest UserIt was a pleasure staying at the Famy hotel clean good breakfast and a very good reception staff specially Kozo who was friendly and very helpful highly recommended closed to Makuhari hongo st.. only 45 min from Tokyo ( suidobashi st. ) I stayed there 8 night straight got Onsen with sauna at the top and local Hal’s see food restaurant at the top if you lazy to go out to eat basic and good buisiness or if you want to have a cheaper solution and don’t mind a 45 min ride to Tokyo also easy to get to the airport one way with Kristi line so give good solution .
QQinglongxiaoziThe front desk staff were very warm and patient. To get to the hotel, you just turn right after exiting the ticket gate at JR Funabashi Station, and there's an elevator directly to the 6th-floor reception, so you don't even need to leave the station building. If you're heading to Narita Airport by train, it's a direct ride, taking about an hour to reach the terminal. There's also an airport shuttle bus stop next to the building, though I didn't use it myself. Getting to Tokyo from here is also convenient, with a direct 30-minute train ride to the bustling city center. There are several large shopping malls nearby, along with many convenience stores, restaurants, a Don Quijote, and drugstores. I'd highly recommend this place for tourists visiting Japan, especially for its great value for money. My only minor wish is that the room could be a little bit bigger. Overall, I had a very good experience.
GGuest UserIt was my second time booking this hotel. The hotel is very clean, and I love about the common area which is located on the 2nd floor, where we can sit and read some books there. The breakfast provided is also very tasty with many choices to choose from
