During my stay, the front desk staff, particularly Xiao Yu, provided professional and excellent service. They were polite and welcoming to guests, and handled check-in and check-out efficiently. They diligently answered all inquiries and proactively offered helpful directions and information, demonstrating outstanding service. I'd like to specially commend them for their dedicated and responsible approach.

This hotel is nestled in an alley in Laomendong, right opposite the popular Pioneer Bookstore, which is a great location. The only downside is that it's 1.5 km from the metro station, but we took taxis everywhere, so it wasn't a big deal for us. We originally booked a tatami room, but only found out upon arrival that it was on the B2 level. It had a musty smell, was damp, and poorly ventilated, making it quite uncomfortable. We paid an extra 1000 RMB to switch to a room on the second floor, which was much better. If you're booking, definitely avoid the basement rooms. The hotel has three adorable cats! Aside from the little hiccup with the room upgrade, everything else was pretty good, even though the price doubled during the holiday.

The location is fantastic, just a ten-minute walk from Humble Administrator's Garden and Lion Grove Garden. The room was clean and relatively quiet. It's even closer to Pingjiang Road. The front desk staff were all incredibly enthusiastic and even helped with our luggage. It would be even better if the room had a mini-fridge. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Suzhou.

Self-driving with parents to travel. The hotel's own underground parking lot is very spacious and convenient. The location of the hotel is relatively close to various scenic spots. The triple room is very spacious, the facilities in the room are very new and the smart facilities are very convenient. The soundproofing of the room is also better, not far from the train station but not noisy. I hope to continue to maintain it, and I will book this one next time I come to Zhenjiang to play.

I was in Changzhou for a business trip and originally just picked a random hotel, but this Totoro Spirit Hotel completely won me over! The front desk service was incredibly thoughtful. Seeing me with my luggage, they immediately helped me with it and even proactively asked if I needed a late check-out. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and I slept really soundly. The next morning, when I checked out, the front desk even gave me a small souvenir, which was such a nice touch.

The room was clean and tidy, the staff were very enthusiastic, and they upgraded the room type for free. They also prepared slippers and fruits for the children. I will choose Ji Hotel next time I come to Zhenjiang

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Nanchang Street and Nanchansi, both reachable within a ten-minute walk. Parking is also very convenient. However, the staff's attitude was quite indifferent and very formulaic. Compared to other Ji Hotel branches I've stayed at before, the service needs improvement. The soundproofing in the room also wasn't great; noises from adjacent rooms and footsteps in the hallway were a bit disruptive. My overall stay wasn't particularly good and definitely has room for improvement.

This stay was perfect and must be given a full score. The hotel is strategically located, it is very convenient to travel for food, the room is spacious and bright, the whole house is clean and the corners are clean and there is no smell. The mattress is moderately hard and soft, and the rest is very stable at night. The overall price is very high. I will choose this next time. I recommend it to friends who give it.
I've stayed at other hotels, but this one truly deserves a great review. They called before check-in to ask if we were driving and even provided free parking. The front desk staff were incredibly polite during check-in, helping with our luggage. It was raining when we went out, and they reminded us to take an umbrella – those little details really impressed me! Our stay was also fantastic. All their facilities are very new and easily comparable to other high-end hotels. Traffic in Suzhou city center can be quite congested, especially with the rain lately, but they offer free electric scooter rentals, which perfectly solved the transportation issue. Check-out was smooth. I'll definitely choose them again for my next trip to Suzhou!

Amenities: The hotel has complete facilities, with a refrigerator and stove all in one.
Hygiene: This is a common issue with serviced apartments – the air conditioning vents had a fair amount of dust, and there were some blind spots for cleaning in the corners.
Service: The service was excellent. The butler was very responsive to our requests and even helped us store our luggage. Overall, the good points outweighed the minor flaws. Recommended.

WWangxiaohuatongxueI will always recommend this place without hesitation. Suzhou is truly beautiful; every photo turns out perfectly. Since I was traveling with my parents, the front desk helped arrange a more suitable room, which greatly eased my anxiety. Fearing we might have trouble, the staff even personally brought the room cards to our room. Everyone was so handsome and responsible, and spoke so gently. They even brought me hot water and didn't forget to give me an extra bottle of mineral water so I could dilute it and avoid getting scalded. Oh my goodness, their warm hospitality made me feel so embarrassed! They truly embodied the feeling of 'home away from home'!
There's a separate lounge area on the first floor, which is convenient for dining or meeting guests, and there's even a small play area for children. I'll definitely choose this place again when I bring my kids next time. Highly, highly recommend! Wishing them prosperous business!

WWorld wonders 探险者Nestled in the heart of a picturesque landmark, this guesthouse offers stunning views of Pingjiang Road at night. There's a cat café right across the street, which is a lovely touch. The breakfast spread is generous, and you can even do your laundry for free. The staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, making this a fantastic choice for your stay.

RRentaichangThis hotel was a hidden gem for my short trip – such a pleasant surprise! It's incredibly conveniently located near tourist attractions. The hotel itself is elegant, quiet, and peaceful. The rooms are cozy, comfortable, and impeccably clean. The bed was very comfortable, and the toiletries and storage facilities were all complete. The staff, Mango, Orange, and Apple, were warm, friendly, and efficient in processing my check-in. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I've already recommended it to my friends!

Check-in Experience
We arrived early at around 6 AM due to the difficulty of booking train tickets during the holiday season. Although check-in was at 3 PM, the staff kindly accommodated us with an early check-in for an additional fee.
Accommodation
We stayed in two types of rooms during our visit:
Single Room - Spacious and located in a peaceful, quiet area of the property.
RV Room - Situated near the camping area where families and friends gather around a large bonfire for singing, BBQ, and games.
**Ratings**
Staff: 8/10 - Friendly and accommodating throughout our stay.
Shuttle Service: 10/10 - The driver was exceptionally pleasant and always smiling. Since my daughter has asthma and walking long distances is difficult for her, we frequently requested shuttle service between locations. This was especially helpful as ride-share drivers typically drop off at the entrance, which is quite a walk from the rooms and facilities.
Breakfast: 10/10 - Excellent variety of traditional Chinese dishes. They were accommodating when my husband requested takeout.
Cleanliness: 10/10 - Both rooms were clean, including the beds, towels, and bathrooms. As my daughter’s asthma is triggered by dust, I was pleased that the rooms were clean enough that she didn’t experience any sneezing or symptoms. We all slept well for the entire five days.
**Things to Consider**
It’s highly recommended to have your own car, as the property is quite far from the city center.
If you enjoy nature and outdoor activities, this place is ideal. Activities include:
- ATV rides
- Fishing area
- Playground (note: adults are charged rather than children, so it’s more economical for only one adult to enter)
- Small animal area featuring rabbits, ostriches, and llamas (15 RMB entry)
- Train ride (30 RMB)
The coffee shop has a wonderful atmosphere and aesthetic appeal, making it popular for photos. The property itself is spacious and perfect for leisurely walks. There’s also a temple nearby, approximately 20 minutes away by car.
**Challenges We Faced**
My daughter developed a fever and experienced diarrhea during our stay. When I called the front desk for help, the staff member wasn’t very accommodating and suggested my husband go buy medicine. This was difficult for us as foreigners who don’t speak the language well. I felt sad and helpless, especially when we couldn’t get any taxis or cabs to pick us up. We wanted to take her to the hospital, but no cabs were available.
However, the next morning, a staff member spoke with me who was extremely kind and accommodating. They even offered to drive my daughter to the hospital, which I declined because we needed to catch our train and she was feeling better after taking medicine. They drove us to the South Railway Station and thoughtfully gave my daughter bags and drinks. It was a very kind gesture that we truly appreciated.

SShengsaerwaduoguojiaThe hotel is right in the middle of Pingjiang Road, making it very convenient for exploring this old town area. It's not far from the subway station, and there's a shopping mall nearby for some retail therapy. The room was clean, and they provided plenty of snacks and drinks. The service was excellent, and they even gave us tickets to a Pingtan (storytelling and ballad singing) show, which my parents absolutely loved. The only downside was that it was May Day, so Pingjiang Road was incredibly crowded. Coming here during an off-peak season would be much more enjoyable.

AAixubaobaoI have to give full marks to the front desk at this Hanting hotel! The service was professional and incredibly warm, they answered every question, and their efficiency was top-notch. The hotel's location is superb, just a 2-minute walk to Nanchan Temple Metro Station, making it super convenient for getting around and sightseeing. The room was clean and tidy, and the value for money is outstanding. Highly recommend!
GGuest UserMy mom and I visited Yangzhou before the New Year, and the hotel's location was fantastic! It's just over a kilometer's walk to both Slender West Lake and Ge Garden. There are also tons of tea houses nearby, making it super convenient to find delicious food. The hotel room was very clean, and the staff were really friendly. They even had a robot deliver our takeout! I didn't take any pictures of the room, but we had a very comfortable stay. Highly recommend!
GGuest UserThis spot in Xinjiekou is absolutely perfect for exploring Nanjing at a relaxed pace! It's super close to Deji Plaza, the Presidential Palace, Xuanwu Lake, and Jiming Temple. Getting to Yihe Road and the Nanjing Museum is also a breeze. Downstairs, you'll find a ton of local eateries like Hongmiao, duck blood vermicelli soup shops, and traditional salted duck places.
The low-saturation, minimalist decor creates a wonderful, atmospheric vibe, and the entire room is controlled by a smart speaker for ultimate convenience. The soundproofing and blackout curtains in the room are excellent. The KingKoil mattress offers fantastic support, perfect for easing weary legs after a day of walking, and the Dyson hairdryer paired with the comfortable shower delivers a top-notch experience.
The lovely lady at the front desk even gave us insider tips for less-known spots. Whether you're into shopping, enjoying the lake, or taking photos along the Wutong Avenue, this location makes everything incredibly convenient. It's truly the best choice for a leisurely exploration of Jinling (Nanjing).
JJaJaa.Fantastic hotel experience overall! The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the front desk service was warm and attentive. The location is also excellent, right across from Deji Plaza. It offers great value for money, and I'll definitely choose this place again for my next stay!
HHalf Gwailo ABCOverall an enjoyable and relaxing one night stay at this tiny cosy hotel in Zhouzhuang, for our final leg of our 6 days Suzhou trip. We took a didi over to Zhouzhuang, which was faster and cheaper than I expected, just a little over half an hour.
The hotel staff called me the day before to arrange for pick-up near the watertown ticket office. Actually I can't speak Mandarin and their English wasn't too good but we ended up chatting on Wechat as Wechat has a built-in translate function in their chat.
So, 15 minutes before we arrive, we just had to let them know on Wechat. And the staff is already waiting for us, helped us with the luggage and guided us through the ticket buying process.
You do have to pay for the ¥100 RMB ticket to get into the watertown and the ticket is good for 3 days. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the entrance.
I picked this hotel because it was right inside the watertown and it had the ancient Chinese interior, although all the amenities are modern, including a robust and high-tech Kohler smart toilets in each bathroom.
There is a nice coffee shop inside the hotel and the coffee shop owner is friendly and takes his coffee craft seriously. The hotel gives you 2 free drinks during your stay and the coffee menu is quite extensive. If the hotel rooms are not booked on that day, we are told the hotel opens their doors to coffee customers.
The hotel owner is actually younger than I expected so I am impressed she meticulously created this authentic experience and the attention to detail. She was friendly and helpful and was open to accommodating our needs.
We booked the entire 2nd floor, which was 3 bedrooms and we had 6 adults in our group. This tiny hotel only has 3 bedrooms so if you booked all 3 rooms, you pretty much get the entire hotel to yourselves which include the first floor which is spacious and comfy.
When I visit Zhouzhuang again, I am looking forward to stay here again. It's certainly not cheap, but you do get what you pay for - which is people passionate about hospitality (in a Chinese way) and also a hygiene and staying experience that is certainly up to international standards.
