Location and amenities were great but only one big issue I really can't swallow. For the two days that I went out and clicked on the Do Not Disturb tab, both days my room was entered and cleaned up. I called the front desk to clarify if that was routine - the cleaners entering the room even if the DND button was up - and the reply was ”如果旅客不需要打扫卫生可以跟前台说一声我们再通知保洁 (If travellers doesnt require a room makeup, they can inform the front desk and we will inform the cleaners” which I asked then what's the point of installing the DND button and make up room button separately. I am pissed because I trusted that no one was going to enter the room and technically, supposedly could be in contact with my belongings as had my luggage was unpacked and lying around. Now that they breached this trust and while nothing was missing, who can possibly assure that no one touched my things or had strangers entering the room in the process. I will avoid staying here in the future and choose another place that doesn't require me to go that extra step of pressing the DND button AND informing the front desk, which is pure ridiculous.

The room layout is well-designed, and it's very clean. It even has its own small garden, and the view from the street-facing window is beautiful. Yuyu Inn boasts an excellent location; it's right by Lion Grove Garden, just a three or four-minute walk to Humble Administrator's Garden, a ten-minute walk to Pingjiang Road, and only a few subway stops from Tiger Hill. Dining options are convenient too; right around the corner from the inn is Suyuanji Noodle House, which is clean and serves delicious food (I even included photos of the noodle house for fellow travelers' reference)..
Initially, I booked for one night. As soon as I left Huangshan North Station, I received a call from the inn's front desk asking if I needed a parking space and letting me know they had already turned on the room's heating. When we arrived, the room was warm and cozy, which felt incredibly thoughtful. After settling in, the front desk even helped us plan a reasonable itinerary, so we promptly extended our stay for another night.
On the second day, my mother wanted an apple. The kind front desk lady, with her hair in a bun, didn't hesitate and rode her own electric scooter to take me to the farmers' market to buy fresh fruit, saving me a lot of trouble. The lobby has a relaxed tea area, making you feel at home where you can enjoy tea. The inn also has a small courtyard, a miniature garden with a pavilion, a fish pond, and a very well-behaved cat. Since we were traveling with an elder, we booked a ground-floor room facing the street. Initially, I was worried it might be noisy, but I later found it to be quiet both day and night because there's no vehicle traffic or many pedestrians. We slept very well. All in all, I'm very satisfied; the value for money is outstanding. I'll definitely stay at Yuyu Inn again on my next visit.

Breakfast, environment, is a very good choice at this price. The hotel environment is very good, go out is the flower street scenic spot.
But it's the details that impress me.
I don’t like the pillow on the pillow when I sleep. I got it on the first day of check-in. The general cleaning may directly restore it to me, but when I come back at night, I found that the cleaning staff not only cleaned it, but also put the pillow I didn’t use in a humble corner. There is a way your little habit is being maintained by the staff.
Even before I left to catch the high-speed rail, the two intimate front desk ladies also taught me where to take a taxi is more convenient. With such a service, I can live for another ten years 🥰

An absolutely fantastic stay, worth returning to again and again!
This hotel completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I felt instantly refreshed – the minimalist yet grand decor, perfectly placed green plants, and warm, soft lighting immediately melted away my travel fatigue. The front desk service was efficient and enthusiastic; check-in took no more than 3 minutes, and they patiently explained the hotel facilities and local attractions, demonstrating incredible professionalism.
The guest room was full of pleasant surprises. It was spacious, bright, and well-laid out without feeling cramped. The bed linens were of excellent quality, the mattress was perfectly soft yet supportive, and combined with the blackout curtains, I enjoyed a wonderful night's sleep every night. The bathroom's wet/dry separation was thoughtful, the branded toiletries felt luxurious, and the hot water supply was ample and consistent with precise temperature control, making for a superb washing experience. What impressed me most were the cleanliness details: not a speck of dust in the room corners, hidden areas like under the bed and on top of cabinets were thoroughly cleaned, and the cups were high-temperature sterilized, making my stay feel incredibly safe.
The hotel's amenities were also excellent. The high-speed WiFi was consistently smooth, perfect for both work and entertainment. Public areas were regularly disinfected, and high-frequency touchpoints like elevator buttons and door handles were well-protected, providing a great sense of security. The location is convenient, with supermarkets and specialty restaurants just a few minutes' walk away, making it ideal for both business trips and leisure travel.
From check-in to check-out, I consistently felt the hotel's attentive service. The staff always had a smile, and their responses to requests were prompt and thorough, truly making me feel at home. Such a high-value accommodation experience is rare. I've already recommended it to my friends and will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit!

The location is about a ten-minute walk from Laomendong. It's away from the hustle and bustle, but occasionally a tour boat passes by, and sitting on the terrace is very pleasant. Definitely choose a room with a terrace. The family room's small bed is fine for adults too. I'll stay here again next time I visit!
Cleanliness: Very clean and comfortable.
Environment: Simple and cozy, perfect for solo travelers.
Service: The front desk staff were very polite and friendly.
Facilities: The surrounding area is very convenient, close to Wenchang Pavilion and Dongguan Street. It's also easy to catch a bus from Zhenyuan.

The front desk offers free luggage storage, and there are laundry and gym facilities available. Across the street, there's the newly opened MixC World, and diagonally opposite that is the Rainbow Shopping Mall.
Service: The service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and enthusiastic. Full marks! 💯
Freshly ground coffee: The coffee tasted great.
Cleanliness: Surprisingly clean and hygienic, and the bed was very soft. Full marks!

This time I stayed at Qiongdu Hotel, the overall price is very high.
The mattress in the room is very comfortable, and the bath set equipped in the bathroom is a good smell of white tea, reflecting the hotel's control in the details. The layout of the room space is reasonable. From the real room environment, it can be seen that the layout of the room is very reasonable. The three boxes with friends can be completely opened and opened, and it does not occupy the aisle space, which is very convenient. The hotel service attitude is very good, call the front desk to send some toiletries at night, and the response speed is fast. And the hotel door is very well recognized, very close to the surrounding business district.

This hotel is really great. I made the right choice when driving through Lianyungang. The hotel has its own parking lot, which is very convenient for road trips. The front desk also upgraded my room for free. It was very quiet all night, and I slept well. The room was also large and very clean. I must give it a good review!

The hotel environment is elegant and fresh, and the stay experience is extremely comfortable. The staff provided considerate and meticulous service, and the entire process from reception to check-in was efficient and smooth. The rooms are well-equipped with exquisite details, and the bedding is soft, skin-friendly and spotlessly clean. The geographical location is superior, with supermarkets and restaurants everywhere around, making life and travel very convenient. The room is well soundproofed, ensuring a peaceful and restful sleep. Overall, the quality far exceeded expectations, and it is rare to get such great value at such an affordable price!

CChuanshangxiaozhiA very satisfying stay! The environment was lovely, and the front desk staff were incredibly warm and helpful, even offering to carry our luggage. Check-in was quick, and the room was well-equipped with a very comfortable bed. Housekeeping cleaned the room and replenished supplies daily. Upon checkout, they even gave us two hairpins as a gift. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserI booked Hanyuan because it is within walking distance to my folks home. And my grandma used to work at Nanjing Agricultural University, which the hotel is affiliated with. I read others’ reviews and knew it is an old facility. I did not have unrealistic expectations.
We arrived late at night. Taxi driver dropped us off at the side entrance that has numerous stairs to the door. We had lots of luggage. As we got out of the cab, we saw some staff member in the lobby looking out. Instead of coming out to help us, he walked away. My husband, myself and our seven year old all carried/dragged multiple items up the stairs to get into the hotel lobby.
We checked in and decided that we would need to add a bed for the kid. House keeping came quickly to set up the bed but was reluctant to provide pillows for the additional bed. I had to repeatedly ask before they agreed to bring an extra pillow. Don’t understand why there is such resistance to equip the additional bed with pillow- after all, we did pay for the additional bed.
Everything else was pretty good during our first three-day-stay. We then went away to visit families elsewhere for a week before coming back to this hotel.
This time, our car drove onto the ramp at the front entrance. As soon as we entered the building, lobby manager came to offer us help. He helped us deliver luggage to our room. We are very appreciative of his assistance.
We ran into some issues at the front desk this time. They asked for our passports again and took our pictures for a second time. When I mentioned that we were just here a week ago and all information was taken already, we were told that all information has been erased as we checked out. When we checked in/out the first time, we informed front desk that we were making the hotel our base camp and will be coming in and out a few times. It’s strange that they would delete our information and redo everything all over again.
Again we need to add a bed. House keeping brought a roller bed which has a stained mattress pad. I asked them to bring a clean one, they said they could not. They said they didn’t have any clean pads. They said the only option is to remove the pad and put the sheets directly on the mattress. They further suggested that since the sheet is clean, dirty pad doesn’t matter and that every mattress pad under bed sheets has urine stains. His words made my stomach turn but I was too tired to fight so they went ahead put sheets on top of the mattress pad that has a big yellow stain. Again I asked for pillows for the additional bed, they refused at first, upon my insistence, they agreed to bring pillows. They also took out a blanket from the cabinets under television and put it on the bed.
When the seven year old was ready for bed, I opened the blanket and realized it’s cover is dirty. It’s dusty and has multiple stings of hair on it. I called house keeping, a lady quickly bought over a clean duvet cover for the blanket but refused to take away the dirty one. She insisted that we keep the dirty duvet in the closet. I did not understand her rationale but there isn’t anything I can do. So that dirty duvet cover stayed in the closet.
Maybe I should not have come back to this hotel.

CChifanpeiyinliaoThis hotel is definitely a great place to walk your kids! The ecology is very good! We even saw a hare! But maybe it’s because it’s outdoors! It seems like the door to the candy room is a little broken! Not so easy to close! Then the electric cars in the park require money to use but they are too slow! And the cost is a bit high!
The service attitude at the front desk is very good! Very eager to help!
The road to the swimming pool is not easy to walk! Must be very careful! It's easy to fall! The locker room environment needs cleaning!
The interior of the room is clean and acceptable!

AAnonymous UserMy family and I totally enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean and amenities are really good. The service staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. The location is actually very good for tourist because it is very convenient to assess a lot of food and photo taking sceneries. The thing is, it is not exactly easy to find the taxi will only send you to a place nearby and then you would have to figure out how to go to the hotel. There are some rooms on the second level so it might be a bit tiring to climb up the stairs but we were fortunate to get rooms on the ground floor with a courtyard view. Do look out for mosquitoes but there are mosquito repellent provided. Breakfast is also provided, we had noodles and some condiments. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel.

MM734247****Great, super comfortable and a very satisfying stay! Hanting truly lives up to its reputation as a reliable national chain. The location is incredibly convenient, right next to a transportation hub, making shopping and dining easily accessible. The room was clean, fresh, and odor-free, with soft and comfortable bedding. The soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a wonderfully peaceful night's sleep. The front desk service was warm and efficient; check-in was super quick, and any requests were promptly addressed. The breakfast offered a good variety, making it excellent value for money. It's perfect for both business trips and leisure travel. I will definitely choose Hanting again next time!
HHalf Gwailo ABCOverall an enjoyable and relaxing one night stay at this tiny cosy hotel in Zhouzhuang, for our final leg of our 6 days Suzhou trip. We took a didi over to Zhouzhuang, which was faster and cheaper than I expected, just a little over half an hour.
The hotel staff called me the day before to arrange for pick-up near the watertown ticket office. Actually I can't speak Mandarin and their English wasn't too good but we ended up chatting on Wechat as Wechat has a built-in translate function in their chat.
So, 15 minutes before we arrive, we just had to let them know on Wechat. And the staff is already waiting for us, helped us with the luggage and guided us through the ticket buying process.
You do have to pay for the ¥100 RMB ticket to get into the watertown and the ticket is good for 3 days. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the entrance.
I picked this hotel because it was right inside the watertown and it had the ancient Chinese interior, although all the amenities are modern, including a robust and high-tech Kohler smart toilets in each bathroom.
There is a nice coffee shop inside the hotel and the coffee shop owner is friendly and takes his coffee craft seriously. The hotel gives you 2 free drinks during your stay and the coffee menu is quite extensive. If the hotel rooms are not booked on that day, we are told the hotel opens their doors to coffee customers.
The hotel owner is actually younger than I expected so I am impressed she meticulously created this authentic experience and the attention to detail. She was friendly and helpful and was open to accommodating our needs.
We booked the entire 2nd floor, which was 3 bedrooms and we had 6 adults in our group. This tiny hotel only has 3 bedrooms so if you booked all 3 rooms, you pretty much get the entire hotel to yourselves which include the first floor which is spacious and comfy.
When I visit Zhouzhuang again, I am looking forward to stay here again. It's certainly not cheap, but you do get what you pay for - which is people passionate about hospitality (in a Chinese way) and also a hygiene and staying experience that is certainly up to international standards.
GGuest UserThe most considerate hotel I've ever stayed in! Check-in was super quick, and the staff thoughtfully recommended nearby attractions. The room had a cozy ambiance, and the smart home features were incredibly convenient. The overall experience was fantastic. Highly recommend!

MM419600****Staying here for my trip was definitely the right choice! The hotel has a serene environment, and getting around is super convenient – it's just a few minutes' walk to the scenic spots. The room decor is warm and elegant, with excellent natural light and ventilation. The facilities are comprehensive, and being a newly opened hotel, the soundproofing is also quite good. Screen mirroring on the TV and high-speed WiFi worked flawlessly. The cleanliness was impeccable; the towels and bath towels were undamaged and odor-free. The front desk service was warm and attentive; they proactively helped with my luggage during check-in and even gave me a small souvenir upon departure, which was such a thoughtful touch! The price is also very reasonable. This experience truly offered great value for money. I've saved this place and will definitely stay here again next time!
CCyfer3185Stayed at this homestay for 3 nights in July which is peak season for summer domestic travel in China. The rooms are comfortable and had all the amenities you’d expect of a 4 star hotel - comfortable beds, lounging area, balcony, TV, good toiletries, hair dryer. Other positives were very friendly service staff, hearty breakfast from the cafe with is on the same premise. There’s also local restaurants nearby to dine at which are not bad, just 5-10 mins walk down the road. I also enjoyed waking up to run across the bridge which has a great sunrise view. A lot of tourists visit the cafe for the sunset views. The hotel staff can do room service and bring food ordered from the cafe to your room if requested.
Note though that location wise it is not as close to other cafes and stuff. You’ll need to travel a fair bit if you want to venture and do other things. I wanted a peaceful retreat with a good view but nearer to mainland (compared to the main 西山岛) so this worked for me.
I stayed in 3 different rooms (Rm 1,4,5) for my 3 nights as I had asked for a room with a view but was initially assigned one that was completely blocked by trees. In trying to accommodate my request I ended up having different rooms (to no fault of the staff and property) each night. There are 8 ‘normal rooms’ and one suite room that is round and more suited for honeymoon/romantic occasions. Rooms 3,4,5,6 are the ones with the better view. Room 1 (my first room) has a completely blocked view which is a waste staying by the lake. Rooms 4 and 5 have the best view. Note also that rm 1 and 4 have a skylight that cannot be blocked so by 5 am your room is gonna be bright although they do give you eye shades to help.
There is also no laundry facilities on site.
Only additional feedback to the property would be that they could consider a discount for guests to dine at the cafe, that could encourage guests to have more meals there.
Overall I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this for anyone looking for an escape for the buzz and want a tranquil place to rest!
MMochizbunnyzCleanliness:
Decent. The floor still felt a little dusty and dirty. The bed sheet has afew strands of hair. Otherwise, the room is relatively clean
Location:
It’s is two metro stops from the Wuxi railway station and a few stops from afew famous places in Wuxi. The location is great. However, if you are carrying a large luggage, do not follow blindly the map app. Exit 14 from 三阳广场 (Sanyang plaza) metro is the closest. However, there will be a flight of stairs to climb if the escalator is not working. However, it is only 1/3 of the flight of stairs to climb compared to exit 19B. If you do not want to climb stairs, I recommend going through exit 20A and come out of Suning Plaza Mall and cross diagonally to 锡上MoMo mall where the hotel is. The escalator at exit 20A is usually working.
Service:
We arrived earlier than the check in timing. Our original room wasn’t ready so they upgraded us to the one on a higher level from level 24 to 54. They kindly told us where the amenities are. They even helped to bring our luggage from our room to their office to help us store as we were going to visit another street during the checkout time before coming back.
Amenities:
The bed was too hard and the pillow is too soft, making it difficult for both of us to sleep. The TV was quite big and there is vip subscription for some Chinese streaming apps which allows my friend to watch her favourite drama series. There is a washing machine which has a dryer function that allows us to wash and dry our clothes within a day. The room is a smart room however it takes a while to get used to the control. Once you are used to it, it makes things more convenient.
Overall, I generally enjoyed my stay with my friend even though it was only for a night. If the bed and cleanliness could be improved, I think it would be perfect.
