3-Star Hotels in Inner Mongolia, China

When bringing kids to Inner Mongolia, how can you not experience a yurt? I carefully selected this one on Trip.com after a long search. It's clean and the staff are very polite and friendly. In the evening, there's a lively bonfire party. The curtains in the stargazing dome don't block out light very well, so the entire room gets quite bright once the sun comes up – that could definitely be improved. The owner also has bunnies and lambs, and provides vegetable leaves for children to feed the animals, which was a fantastic experience. The scenery of Huiteng Grassland is truly beautiful; stunning views can heal everything. Finally, a note for those with high sleep quality requirements: I feel one night here is probably enough.

I had a pleasant stay at this place. The rooms and facilities were very clean, and the manager was exceptionally kind and welcoming. The service was also friendly and attentive. Although the breakfast selection was somewhat limited, the food was tasty and enjoyable. Another thing I appreciated was that the hotel was not overcrowded, which made the atmosphere quiet and relaxing. Overall, I had a very good experience and would be happy to stay here again. Since I was traveling with elderly family members and was concerned about them getting cold at night, I decided against booking a ground-level yurt and instead chose this 'Starry Sky Pasture' accommodation. I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival. First, parking was incredibly convenient, which is crucial for a group of five traveling in a 7-seater minivan. Then, we were greeted by charming Mongolian-style buildings, topped with yurts perfect for stargazing. The rooms were fantastic, and the owner was incredibly kind – he even upgraded our room because we were with seniors. The room was spotless, the bedding was clean and comfortable, and disposable toiletries were provided. The 'starry sky yurt' had air conditioning, so it wasn't cold at all. We could even watch the sunrise and sunset from the third floor, which I thought was great value! The restaurant food was absolutely delicious. We ordered roasted lamb ribs, mushroom with sliced meat, cold beef slices... and even some kumis. Wow, both the taste and price exceeded my expectations – so tasty! Especially the beef and lamb ribs, they were incredibly fragrant and highly recommended! The owner even gave us a small gift when we left, which was a very thoughtful touch. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends because I feel I made the perfect choice! It's very unique, clean, and tidy, in a great location with easy parking, and delicious food! The main thing is, the owner is wonderful!

This was my first time staying in a family room, and as soon as I walked in, I felt the layout was very convenient. The front desk lady checked me in quickly and gave clear directions when I asked how to get around. It was also easy to get a taxi from here or go to the East Station 🙂 The room was comfortable to stay in. The bedding was neatly made, felt very soft to the touch, and both the pillows and duvet were clean and dry. I slept really well at night, and the soundproofing was good too; outside noises barely bothered me at all 😌 The gym was a pleasant surprise. It was clean and bright, and the equipment was sufficient for a daily workout. It was very convenient to go and get some exercise after a long journey, and it didn't feel stuffy in there 🏋️ The breakfast variety was richer than I expected, with both hot and cold options, all tasty. Overall, my stay was very hassle-free, suitable for family trips or an overnight stopover 😊

The location is fantastic, very close to all the nearby attractions, and within walking distance. It's right next to 'Shaomai Street' and Jokhang Temple. The front desk staff are all really welcoming and helpful, and the self-service coffee is a nice touch! They even gave our child a breakfast voucher. 😊😊 I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time.

The hotel is in a good location, just over 10 minutes' walk to Wanda, with many choices for food. Downstairs is the hotel's own parking lot 🅿, which is convenient for parking. The facilities of a newly opened hotel are relatively new, and there is almost no taste. There are many varieties of breakfast. The yam, sweet potato, and corn that I like are all gathered together. I can't eat too much. I cooked wontons and cooked half a portion. The kitchen lady also kindly told me how many half portions there were and asked if it was enough. ~ Good reviews ~ The laundry room is open all day without limit. The overall stay was not bad. I will book again next time

I went to Xiangshawan with my kids and compared a few hotels. The other three were all-inclusive, but since my kids are older, they'd have to pay extra, and they weren't really interested in the activities at Xiansha Island, so I chose this one instead. We drove to the Hualian Tourist Resort reception center to check in. After getting our wristbands and handing over our luggage to the staff, we took Cable Car No. 3 to the island. I added the butler on WeChat and contacted them after getting off the cable car to arrange a shuttle. The jeep shuttle drove quite fast, which the kids loved. They said our luggage would take 2-3 hours to arrive, but it actually came about half an hour after we got to our room. Because I left a note when booking asking for a quiet room, we were assigned to Zone 3, which is quite far away. It was a bit of a walk in and out. I noticed most guests around us had kids; some played late into the night, others woke up early to play, so I guess no matter where you stay, it won't be perfectly quiet. The room facilities were pretty good, and the space was quite large. The bathroom was very similar to those in Japanese hotels. There was a wooden drying rack, which many people moved outside their doors to air-dry their swimsuits overnight. The service was excellent. The WeChat butler answered all my questions promptly. The only issue was the light and noise affecting sleep; it was as bright as midday at 6 AM. Luckily, I had brought my own eye mask and earplugs.

I would recommend the horse riding off the main area, as they suggest, but the Happy Ranch was not that fulfilling—most of the rides and activities there weren't worth the time or money. That's an external activity though, so no discredit to the hotel itself. While we didn't end up using the actual amenities, the hospitality and cultural performance alone made the visit worthwhile. Everything was good, even without a window. The cleaning lady was really nice, and so was the front desk staff. The air conditioning was quite cool too. It just felt a little stuffy sometimes because there was no window, but it was still pretty good overall, hehe.
