For us, the location near the airport and shops (especially Telstra and an electronics store) was very convenient. We didn't experience any noise disturbance from the attached ******.
Lovely vibes, cool chill areas, community bar and community events plus the staff especially the lovely guy who booked me in was Amazing. However it's a very crappy old building with Nil working properly showers and broken toilets. I had 1 night in a nice female room which I barely even saw as I was out and Tried to rest at a 2nd booking being shoved into a mixed smelly weird noisy dorm on a top bunk with ****** knocking on the door at all hrs, one guy snoring and another twat on the phone I told off. Was stressful and I hadn't a Warm shower in a working functioning bathroom in 2 days. Not returning. If you like noisy rude tourists and old buildings with no lift carrying your bags everywhere and no showers, great!
Clean and spacious, good environment, good service, complete surrounding facilities, convenient for eating and shopping, free parking spaces, clean and spacious, good environment, good services, complete surrounding facilities, convenient for eating and shopping, free parking spaces, and a washing machine and dryer. Convenient for laundry
Two families traveling together, and this place had two bathrooms and a small kitchen with a dishwasher. We just bought groceries from Woolworths and cooked dinner and breakfast there. It was perfect!
I cannot recommend this accommodation enough! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the spotless presentation and cozy atmosphere. The location was absolutely perfect—close to everything but still peaceful at night. Our host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even providing thoughtful local tips. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep after long days of exploring. If you are looking for a hassle-free, relaxing, and wonderful place to stay, look no further. We are already planning our return visit. Thank you for a memorable trip!
The staff were so friendly, and the hotel itself was absolutely charming and adorable. It's perfect for exploring Fitzroy and grabbing a croissant from Lune. I loved that they gave us a list of nearby attractions when we checked in. We went on our last day, but I wish we had gone on our first! It was the most wonderful hotel in Melbourne!
I stayed here 35 years ago
It was good then and still good now
The unit block is still the same the room had some renovation good hot water
No power point beside the bed but there are few behind the bed once pull the bed out
Upgrade could have modernize the needs by providing power extension make it more accessible
A clean quiet older style motel, well-managed and excellent value. The hosts are friendly and welcoming and live on site. The rooms have a small fridge which is very handy and a split air conditioner which also works as an effective heater. Parking is outside your door and the WIFI is fast and reliable. We would happily stay here again.
I recently stayed at this ocean views lakes entrance hotel, and while the overall experience was comfortable, there were a few issues that definitely stood out.
The room itself was spacious and well-lit, which made the stay quite pleasant. The bed was comfortable, and the overall ambiance was relaxing. However, there were some cleanliness concerns that left me disappointed. I found dead cockroaches in the room, which is a huge turn-off and really affected my comfort level.
Additionally, the room was lacking some basic amenities. There were limited pieces of cutlery, which made it inconvenient if I wanted to grab a quick snack or enjoy room service. I also noticed that there were no toiletries provided, which was surprising. To make matters worse, the shower gel in the bathroom was completely empty.
Overall, the hotel has potential, but attention to cleanliness and better maintenance of in-room amenities would significantly improve the guest experience. Wouldn’t consider returning unless these issues are addressed.

RRO_+I had a very pleasant stay overall. The service was friendly and attentive, and the facilities were clean and well maintained. The room was comfortable, which made for a great night’s rest. I also enjoyed the view, it was fresh and satisfying. Overall, a smooth and enjoyable experience, and I would happily stay here again.
AAnonymous UserGood for one people stay caused it is not much space. Ameities can requested at reception. Location quite good can walk to Southern Cross station, Flinder Station or Town Hall station. For Uber, driver might drop you at the closest street, Flinder Lane. Easy walk just 1 mins but quite hard if you have 2 luggages.
RRhuyann HoIt’s my second night staying here in Melbourne before heading to the airport on the next day. I find it very convenient staying here. The room is okay and good enough for a short stay or on a budget.
GGuest UserThe photos on there site show a pool, we got there the pool has weeds growing out of it . Very disappointed and the Beds are very hard as well. The restaurant has closed down as well. The room was clean but know room service so your on your own if you run out of tea and coffee. Thank god we had a microwave so we could still eat.

I recently stayed at Quality Hotel Melbourne Airport and wanted to share my experience for anyone travelling in or out of Melbourne. We have stayed here a number of times, the first time was because we had flight delays and didn't want to head home to return the following day. It made sense and ever since then we have used it as our little night before we go on the next adventure stop over. So if you are like me, and you’re looking for something close, easy, and stress-free before a flight… this place really delivers. The location is incredibly convenient, just minutes from the airport, and the shuttle service makes everything feel seamless especially when you’re travelling early morning or arriving late. That alone takes so much pressure off. And if you are like me and need to have a change of suit case for clothing it makes a great base between flights and countries.
The rooms are simple, clean, and comfortable. Not overly luxurious, but they have everything you need for a short stay. It feels more like a practical stopover than a holiday destination and that’s exactly what it’s meant to be.
What I appreciated most was the ease of everything…
No overwhelm, no complications — just a place to land, reset, and move on with your journey. If I had to describe it energetically… it feels like a “pause point” between destinations.
A couple of things to note:
It’s more of a classic, older-style hotel, not modern luxury but its a great base and we leave our car there for convince. Dining options can be limited depending on timing, but we ate next door a Sheesh and plan to go there again. You may hear a little airport noise (as expected) But overall, for value, convenience, and simplicity, it does exactly what it promises. We will definitely stay again when I need a smooth airport stopover, like in September with a group of travelers heading on.a cruise. The place suits business, family, couples, solo and groups.

Very Good
AAnuradha Ganesh (Anu)Spacious, hearthy and very comfortable stay. Right next to the famous 12 Apostles (10 min drive) it is extremely convenient for sunset and sunrise visits and also close by to so many other viewpoints on the last stretch of the Great Ocean road!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cute home style unit, with all thoughtful amenities in the kitchen and bathrooms, car parking right next to the unit, nice sitout area in the back with a wooden bench. While there were only 2 of us, but we felt that this unit is great valu for money as it can easily accommodate a large family of 5-7 people (1 queen bed, 3 bunk beds and large couches in the living room)
Very warm & welcoming and definitely recommend if you're passing through Port Campbell!
GGuest UserVery clean, nice renovated rooms with all amenities including microwave. Very comfortable bed and pillows, plenty of luggage space. Coffee/tea/sugar and biscuits. Each room has it's own designated parking. Reception woman was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend it and will definitely be staying again soon
GGuest UserThe location is super convenient, close to both the bus and train stations. The staff were really friendly, and the mattress was one of the most comfortable I've experienced in a hostel! The neighborhood was also pretty quiet at night. Overall, I'm very satisfied! I'd recommend checking out the terrace for a cup of tea – the view overlooking the neighborhood is lovely.
GGuest UserIt's an old place..carpets are too old and looked unclean..Unclean beneath and beside the cots..Need a good tidy up and freshness...
Friendly staff..
Food area was well looked after..
KKam Ning CheungThe service is very good and the location is nearby Ballarat Station. It takes about 20 walks to Sovereign Hill. And there are too many restaurants next to there, such as McDonald's, Pizza Hut, Chinese restaurant and Indian restaurant .
