A short trip at the tail end of the Chinese New Year holiday, staying at the Tianlai Hot Spring Villa for 2 nights. The lakeside view, warm private hot spring, mahjong table in the room, and the thoughtful butler and housekeeping staff were all great. Plus, the Moon Bay Food Court was super close, and the kids had a blast! The service during the Chinese New Year holiday deserves praise. Despite the large number of breakfast guests, it was organized and orderly, with efficient seating guidance and quick table clearing. The queue for the noodle station during peak hours must have made the chef feel both happy and overwhelmed! 😄 In the mornings, we hiked Renhuang Mountain to work up a sweat, spent the afternoons sunbathing and soaking in the hot springs, and evenings playing mahjong and cards. It was absolutely relaxing, and next time we definitely need to stay for more days! Hahaha.

It was a pleasant stay at the hotel. A plus for free boat shuttle service to the hotel. The breakfast is simple but tasty. It also located at the spot with the best night view. The hotel staff especially, 李小姐 is very patient and helpful when attending to our queries. She has helped us to arrange for private transport from Nan Xun to Hangzhou at a reasonable price. Thanks Ting Jian for everything provided to us during our stay. Will recommend to friends

This is my third stay at Building 2 of Xizi Hotel, and I'm consistently impressed by the warm and enthusiastic service from everyone. Especially Xiao Yu: 1. Trustworthy: I wanted to travel light, and Xiao Yu proactively took my bag, which contained valuables, back to my room. 2. Enthusiastic Service: Due to weekend traffic restrictions, she very enthusiastically explained via voice message how to easily exit the hotel. 3. Conscientious and Responsible: On the last day, when I switched rooms, she proactively moved my luggage to the new room. Yining was also great; she enthusiastically came to my room to fix a faucet and informed me of the night shift hours, which was very helpful. The young lady for travel photography, Guoguo, was professional with her shots, had many props, and worked with impressive efficiency.

I originally planned to book a Marriott or Hilton, but switched to Nanhu Hotel instead. It turns out that was a very wise decision. The hotel's location is superb, perfect for a run or a stroll. You really can't beat it. The design is also very nice; the rooms have a beautiful, spacious Chinese style. The air conditioning heats up incredibly fast, and the view of the pagoda outside is lovely. Someone pouring coffee at breakfast was a nice touch, showing they're moving towards international 5-star standards. However, the lamb noodles, which everyone raves about for breakfast, were just average for me personally. Also, I really liked the red boat-themed ceramic cups in the room and bought some from the hotel. The front desk helped me inquire, and two staff members from housekeeping went back and forth several times during the process – I really appreciate your trouble, thank you 🙏🏻. If I had to point out areas for improvement, the dinner at the hotel was good value and the taste was decent, but the service was a bit slow. The air conditioning made a slight noise at night, and there was a faint renovation smell in the room. But for people who aren't sensitive to these things, it should be fine.

Our stay was fantastic! Special thanks to Ms. Zhan at the front desk for her thoughtful service and help during check-in. She upgraded our room when possible and gave us recommendations for evening activities. What really stood out was when she offered us two warm, yes, warm walnut cookies – they were so comforting and delicious, like coming home, especially since we were a bit hungry! We extended our stay for another night, and Ms. Jia at the front desk was equally warm and attentive. The entire hotel, from its facilities to its soft services, feels grand and well-designed. The bedding is incredibly comfortable, and the breakfast and dinner buffets offer a wide variety of choices. I also appreciate their strong commitment to environmental protection, with trash cans that have ditched plastic bags – excellent!

The room was really spacious, especially the balcony, which was huge – you could practically play badminton on it, haha! The view was superb. The staff were very friendly, and the housekeeper, Ding Xinjiao, proactively offered extra bottles of mineral water; she was particularly enthusiastic. The only minor drawback was that food delivery couldn't come upstairs. It would be great if that could be improved.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable. The TV had a lot of very interesting shows including English language movies and movies with subtitles. The bar in the lobby is also very nice, the bartender makes very good MaiTais. Definitely recommend!

The hotel service was excellent, and the staff were all very warm and attentive (unlike some places where they have a poker face). The room was spacious and clean, perfect for families with kids – my little one especially loved the bathtub! The dining options were good; staying on the 37th floor was convenient as I didn't have to go to the 2nd floor (the 2nd floor has more variety but gets crowded). Parking was also easy, either above ground or in the underground garage (it's best if the garage elevator goes directly to B2). Overall, I had a great experience. I didn't find it as old as some people mentioned on Xiaohongshu; in fact, it felt newer than places I've stayed in Beijing and Shanghai. A really good stay!

Hotel Facilities: The decor in the lobby and public areas is very luxurious and aesthetically pleasing. The in-room amenities are also excellent; the TV supports screen mirroring, and the air conditioning was very powerful, providing ample cooling even in the summer. Service Attitude: The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, and their training was clearly very thorough. Hotel Breakfast: For a five-star standard, it still fell a bit short. I suggest improving the variety of hot dishes, as they were a bit too monotonous.

Booked a courtyard view room in Building 8 of the Xihu State Guest House through a Trip.com promotion, 3780 RMB for two nights. Overall, I'm very satisfied. The hotel's garden environment is absolutely stunning, with beautiful scenery at every turn. Building 8 is new and the space is comfortable. The service was attentive throughout, from check-in to room service, all very professional – a true state guest experience. The only minor disappointment was the breakfast, which was just average. During the magnolia season, there were quite a few external visitors, which slightly impacted privacy. Overall, it's still a top-tier experience by West Lake and offers great value for money. Highly recommended.
