The hotel is located by the lake and is uniquely located. Open the window, it is the blue wave of the lake, the mountains in the distance are rolling, the clouds are lingering, like a natural ink painting. In the early morning, I was awakened by the first ray of sunlight and birdsong, opened the curtains, the lake was sparkling, the mist was light, like a dream. In the evening, sit on the terrace or on the lake benches and enjoy the sunset. The sky is dyed bright orange and red, and the lake is reflected in the sunset, which is suffocating. The hotel was very good to stay after museums visits in Doesburg and Ruurlo. But after the report it was solved, it was a pity that the glasses and bottles were not put in the minibar just a minute. Lawful wine and glasses beer ...... The kingsize bed had a good matrace, the jacuzzi worked (but some drops missed) and breakfast was well cared. That's good for a night stay!

The environment is good. We checked in late. There was only one room left. The quilt was not ready. Only the front desk staff got us the sheets. Everything else was good.

Wij hebben een fijne tijd gehad in het hotel. We vonden alleen het ontbijt heel armoedig voor mij als glutenvrij persoon en de broodjes werden zo laat gebracht dat mijn gezin steeds al klaar was met eten en ik nog moest beginnen

Decent sized room, reasonably priced. Although we didn’t have dinner there (attending a concert which ended much later than the dinner service), the option was available. Comfortable beds and pillows, bathroom had a generous sized walk in shower (very easily accessible for visitors with limited mobility. Although other guests had alleged issues regarding the renovation works, we were fortunate that this didn’t affect our stay. The hotel appears to have taken onboard earlier reviews mentioning tired decor - we can attest to the fact that the hotel are implementing some significant improvements. Friendly and welcoming staff. Would love the opportunity to return and see more of the area.

Although the room is small, the overall service, hygiene and environment are good.

Op onze kamer was de verwarming niet goed en de wc bril zat heel erg los. Toen wij dit aangaven werd er goed actie ondernomen. Dit was gewoon goed. De bediening was ook netjes en vriendelijk. Het diner in het restaurant daarentegen was zeker niet goed. Basis gerechten waren al behoorlijk aan de prijs moet je groente en aardappelen of patat bij bestellen. Dan wordt het erg prijzig. De porties waren erg klein en gedeeltelijk niet op temperatuur. Echt een afknapper. Hotel dus goed, restaurant qua eten niet best.

I stayed here for 5 nights. The hotel is in a good location. It’s close to the train station. The closest park is 6 min walk from the hotel. The amenities can be requested from the front desk. The room is small but sufficient for a one person traveler. The bed is a single bed and quite small. The bathroom is also small. The shower section is partitioned by a glass but it covers only 50%, so the water will splash outside the shower section when you take a shower. The floor is usually wet after a shower. At the lobby, there is a meeting section, you can have a business meeting there. Coffee is also free at the lobby. Recommended for business trip. Not many restaurants nearby, but there are many restaurants in the 10-15 minute walking range.
