I stayed at this hotel during my recent trip, and my overall impression is mixed. The location is quite remote, set in the mountains far away from the city center and the train station. While the natural surroundings are peaceful and quiet, getting in and out of the hotel is not very convenient. The only public transportation option is a bus that comes every thirty minutes. If you miss it, you have to wait, which can be frustrating, especially when you have plans in the city. Because of the distance, it takes a long time to reach shops, restaurants, or the train station. This makes the hotel less suitable for travelers who want easy access to urban activities. However, if you are looking for a retreat in nature, the mountain setting may be appealing. The hotel itself is old in design, with decoration that feels dated. Still, the atmosphere is comfortable, and the rooms are cozy enough for a good rest. The staff were polite and helpful, which added to the positive side of my stay. In summary, the hotel offers comfort in a quiet mountain area, but the location and transport options are not very convenient.

The hotel was pretty good and clean. The hot cocoa from the coffee machine in the lobby was delicious, which was a real lifesaver for someone like me who doesn't drink coffee. The only downside was that the bathroom in my room wasn't great; after showering, the floor would flood because the drainage was poor, and there wasn't a mop nearby. This meant I had to walk through puddles every time I used the toilet afterward, which was really unpleasant. The hotel's location is a bit out of the way, but Luxembourg is small and public transport is free, so I guess it's acceptable.

The location is excellent, less than a ten-minute walk from the train station. The hotel is elegant, with a piano in the lobby and free lunch rolls in the afternoon. The front desk was professional and polite, with a cinematic feel. The room, while small, was perfectly adequate. There's a small supermarket directly across from the entrance, making it convenient for shopping. Adolphe Bridge is a ten-minute walk away.

Hotel was well located nearby hiking trails and other attractions. The room was very nice, and the facilities in the hotel (sauna, gym) were also great. Breakfast was plentiful. Dinner was just ok. generally, i would recommend this place and would stay again. lastly its important to note: they originally tried to give me a different room than the one i had booked (of course one 'inferior'). the staff tried to say that there was nothign to be done as the platforms (such as Trip, Booking, etc) ”oversell” rooms and then the hotel can't fulfil this request .... this is the first i've come across something like this, and after some insisting, i was placed in the room i booked. still, this left a strange note for the start of my trip.

Friendly staff, perfect location next to the airport (you can walk from there). I'd definitely stay at the Mandarina Hotel again.

The breakfast is very good. The room is great. The hotel's location is excellent. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to stay.

Conveniently located near the bus station, the hotel is really clean, the rooms are very well decorated, the front desk and room service can communicate in German (the check-in manual is available in French, English and German). The continental meals are delicious (there is an ice cream shop and Subway nearby if you are not used to it)

Nice hotel, great location, staff friendly. Would have been nice to have had a mini fridge, the shower, small and open concept, so couldn't enjoy the a really good shower without getting water everywhere. The a/c incredibly noisy. Overall it was ok for a short stay.

Located halfway between the airport and the city center, it's easily accessible via the T1 tram. The surrounding area feels like a newly developed CBD, dominated by high-rise buildings. There's a small shopping mall nearby, but it closes quite early, and a few restaurants. To get to the city, besides taking the bus, you can also enjoy a fun walk through the canyon and take an elevator up.
