This was my first trip to Harbin, and I booked a riverside hotel near the Songhua River on Ctrip. My stay at the Harbin Habsburg River View Hotel (St. Sophia Church branch) was overwhelmingly positive, especially regarding the service and breakfast. From the greeters and front desk staff to the restaurant team, everyone was consistently described as 'warm, attentive, and caring,' making it feel just like home. They even offered complimentary access to the executive lounge, which truly showed how thoughtful and considerate the hotel is. The breakfast was incredibly rich and featured local specialties. What really stood out was the long serving time, from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM, allowing us to sleep in and enjoy it as a brunch – a luxury usually only found in international resort hotels. The variety was impressive, including Northeastern dishes like 'kill-pig' stew, chicken stew with mushrooms, 'Guo Bao Rou' (sweet and sour pork), iron pot stew, frozen pears, and Kvas, along with Lanzhou beef noodles, wontons, tofu pudding, and big bone stews. The hotel's location is also excellent. It's about a 10-minute walk (500 meters) to Central Street, the Flood Control Monument, and the Chinese Eastern Railway Bridge. St. Sophia Church and Daoli Market are within a 2-kilometer walk. Directly across from the hotel is the entrance to the Songhua River Cableway. We stayed on the 11th floor in a high-level river view room, offering distant views of the river and Swan Castle. The night view was truly beautiful. The room was well-equipped with a humidifier (essential in dry Northeast China), heated eye masks, sleep earplugs, a foot bath, bath salts, and charging cables. They also provided a complimentary fruit platter and snacks daily, and the bottled water was from Quanyangquan. This hotel is a 'service-driven' choice offering excellent value for money. With its thoughtful service, abundant breakfast, and convenient location, the Habsburg is definitely worth choosing. I would absolutely stay here again on my next visit to Harbin and would even recommend it to friends.

Harbin was the last stop on our road trip. The hotel's location is fantastic, just a few minutes' walk from Saint Sophia Cathedral. The room was spacious and well-equipped, clean and hygienic. The most unexpected bonus was the parking lot in the back, which was incredibly convenient. Both the front desk and cleaning staff provided excellent service! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Incredible value for money! Highly recommend!

Centrally located on Central Street, with St. Sophia Cathedral within walking distance and the Metro Line 3 Ring Line nearby, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The surrounding area is peaceful yet close to the hustle and bustle. The room facilities are complete, tidy, and comfortable, and they even offer afternoon tea. Highly recommended!

## Amenities: The mattress was comfortable, two types of pillows were provided, a smart toilet, a TV with screen-mirroring capabilities, and the internet speed was very fast! The slippers were the thickest and most comfortable I've ever encountered in any hotel. ## Cleanliness: The shower drain wasn't clean and was a bit clogged; I had to deal with it myself while showering. ## Ambiance: I had requested a high floor, but was only given the 7th floor, so my view was ultimately blocked by the tall building directly in front. Additionally, the room was right by the elevator entrance. Luckily, there were no noisy tour groups blocking the elevators that day, so it was relatively quiet. ## Service: Almost non-existent. During check-in, there were two front desk staff. The male staff member was warmly smiling and assisting another group, while the female staff member gave me a cold reception. When I asked about the floor, she simply said my room type wasn't available on the 9th floor. Normally, one would expect something like, ”This room type isn't available on the 9th floor, would you like to consider an upgrade to a different room type on the 9th floor?” She offered no smile and was very curt. After she simply stated my room type wasn't available, I didn't feel like pursuing the conversation further. *Sigh*. ▶ There are self-service drinks in the lobby on the first floor, but the staff didn't inform me. I only found out about them after seeing it online. ▶ Upon check-out, there's supposed to be a farewell gift, but the staff didn't mention it. Long after I had left, I received a message on the Ctrip app saying there was one, meaning I would have had to inquire at the front desk myself. *Ahem*. ▶ I didn't book the hotel's buffet breakfast, but the restaurant allows you to order items à la carte. My companion and I spent 20 yuan and were completely full. (The fried rice was delicious!) ● Overall, in terms of value for money, it's really good! It just falls short on the details. (I wonder if this has anything to do with booking a discounted room? 🤔)

The staff at the reception was very kind, and the rooms were OK. Taxi driver told me this used to be a hospital and asked me if I minded. But I slept very well all the nights I was here no problems at all. Breakfast was nice too. It's right next to the night market entrance ( literally 5 meters ) so I would recommend.

Hello everyone. My husband and I visit China very often, but I've never encountered such polite staff, not in Beijing, nor in Shanghai. I booked a room without breakfast, and bought breakfast at the hotel for next to nothing. On top of the main buffet, they brought us a separate solyanka (Russian sour soup) or noodle soup, plus a second dish, always decorated with fresh flowers))) It was amazing!!! It was simply impossible to eat everything!! We had a 45 sq.m. room with one large bed. It literally had everything: tea, water, coffee capsules for a small coffee machine, reversible bathrobes (terry cloth on one side, silk on the other), basically like everywhere else, plus disposable razors with shaving cream. Everything was very clean and quiet. Oh, and a very friendly doorman greets you at the entrance, carries your luggage in and out, and hails taxis. The location is excellent: just 100 meters down an alley from Arbat Street, which is incredibly noisy, a real beehive!!! If we're ever in Harbin again, I definitely won't change hotels 💯👍👍👍♥️♥️♥ Oh, and upon checkout, they even gave us this cute little gift with sweets 😊😍🤗🤗

The front desk service is good, the surrounding transportation is really clean, the room has free drinks, it is convenient to eat and play around, downstairs is Wanda Plaza, eating, drinking and having fun, it is very close to the Qiqihar Longsha Zoological and Botanical Garden, the room facilities are very good, the whole house is smart, The room Li also provided free mineral water, milk and drinks, the health was very clean, the front desk service was very warm, and it would also recommend Qiqihar's delicious barbecue and places to play. Qiqihar is a recommended hotel with a high cost performance.

I booked this hotel for a business trip and unexpectedly needed to print some documents late at night. The front desk staff, despite it being so late, was incredibly helpful and printed quite a few pages for me. They were so warm and didn't seem bothered at all, and even printed them for free, which I felt a little bad about! This is a really great hotel with very enthusiastic staff. The small convenience store on the first floor is also good; I bought some nice snacks there. Highly recommend, I'll definitely come back next time!

The hotel is very satisfied overall, the location is excellent and convenient to travel, the room is clean and bright, the facilities are complete, the bedding is comfortable, and the sound insulation effect is good. The service staff is warm and caring, the check-in and check-out are efficient and fast, the price is very high, it is a great stay experience, I recommend everyone to stay.

The room experience was excellent, full of Russian aristocratic charm. I chose the king-size bed with red drapes, which had a lovely vintage feel and was very comfortable. The double-door bathroom was luxurious, and the standalone bathtub offered a great soaking experience. The hygiene and service were very thorough; the daily coffee capsules and fruit were a thoughtful touch. The Russian costume experience was surprisingly satisfying. Furthermore, the hotel's location is superb, right on Central Street, allowing you to enjoy the street's beauty at different times of the day. Breakfast offered a wide variety, and the service was attentive. The oil paintings in the hotel rooms and corridors, as well as the vintage elevator, are definitely worth savoring.
