"It was quite some time ago, but we stayed at Northern Lodge Kant for our first trip to celebrate our wedding. The way was hard to find, so we were about 2 hours late for check-in. The wife of the hostel was in a very bad mood, and we had to whisper in the room, which must have been annoying. This guesthouse does not have a toilet in the room, and it is difficult to go to the toilet in the middle of the night. I still remember the terrible atmosphere, where they did not even give us morning coffee and we could not ask for anything. After checking out, I heard the sound of the door being locked from the inside as soon as I left the front door. I remember how badly I felt. Why don't they at least lock the door a little while after we left, when they do not know who the guest is? What kind of attitude is that to a guest? Did they cause you any trouble? I was looking forward to meeting people in Hokkaido, so it was really disappointing. This guesthouse is the worst."

"Since I didn't have meals included, I thought it would have been nice to have dinner included. (There were hardly any restaurants nearby except a convenience store.) The room was a Japanese-Western style, spacious and quiet! Everyone was able to relax very well! The sleep was also incredibly comfortable. 💓 The hot spring left my skin feeling smooth after a bath! The gentle warmth even after the sweat had dried was wonderful. I also enjoyed a morning bath. The front desk staff were also very kind and welcoming, which I really appreciated. 🌼 I'd love to stay here again. 🥰"
