"We really relaxed in this accommodation. A pleasant couple, always willing to help, and their lifestyle was transferred to this accommodation. Pleasant family atmosphere. In the rooms there are old gramophones from the 70s and records from this period. An indescribable experience. But if you are looking for a TV, forget it. That is the biggest advantage."

"Arriving somewhat by chance, we were delighted with this stopover, friendly welcome, clean and nicely decorated and arranged room (there is even a small fridge!), varied and delicious breakfast, tasty evening meal (eggs in red wine sauce and extra fried noodles). A few km from Chablis or Pontigny and its superb abbey, 15 minutes from Auxerre, a haven of calm. We really enjoyed it, the proof: we stopped there again on the way back!"

"This is a slightly tired hotel, in need of a refurbishment. Some of the rooms are tiny. On both our visits we found the hosts to be fairly charmless. We had a good, but not great, meal. Nice swimming pool, but it is a short walk up the road. In summary, okay, but not much more."

The hotel is suitable for people with reduced mobility (two rooms with sofa floor and an elevator to access the restaurant level from the courtyard of the hotel. (evidently well educated) and has a parking."

"We enjoyed a 2 night stay at the hotel La Mitigana. The room was very comfortable, breakfast buffet offer was excellent and the staff extremely welcoming. They even provided a delicious cold meal for us when we discovered the dining room was fully booked one lunch time and then closed for Sunday evening. We would definitely be happy to stay there again."
