Hotel Schimmel
7.5 (15 reviews)

Hotel Schimmel ★★★

📍 Stationsweg Oost 243, Woudenberg

"The hotel and its rooms are low prices, quality too. The rooms are very date and are absolutely dedicated to thorough modernization. They are also extremely responsive. (Some) rooms are above a party room. You can understand all the speeches and music in your room, the chaos took to late in the evening, and people walking on the walking venues, guests in the nearby rooms and the cleaning in the morning, you can understand literally. The hotel is located on a very busy road. The room does not seem isolated, because you hear all traffic noisy over. The outdoors open or close makes little difference in noise level. Furthermore, breakfast was very charitable. Cooking egg, butterham, white emperor bread, mini croissant or yoghurt... no possibility of breading oid... and on = on, because the unfriendly staff did not fill anything. As a knock on the fire arrow, the breakfast room was extensively sucked in the breakfast."

Postillion Utrecht Bunnik ★★★

📍 Baan van Fectio 1, Bunnik

"We were very impressed by Postilion Bunnik. The staff at the reception, bar and restaurant were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a nice sunny terrace, the room was well cleaned and with good sized comfortable bed and the breakfast very good was almost perfect ( Ps they do have a new vegetarian breakfast policy so I missed the bacon and real sausages). All in all a great stay."

Carlton President Hotel ★★★★

📍 Floraweg 25, West, Utrecht

"We've known the Hotel The President for business for a long time; since the 90s, it was the go-to for our international colleagues. We also book it privately ourselves when we need to be in Utrecht for an event. The quality is excellent, and you can easily reach Utrecht city center by bus from the public transport stop, which is just a few hundred meters walk away. You can leave your car in the hotel's parking lot."

"The location is amazing, and the repurposed building is a novel experience. The staff was super friendly and provided all the necessary information. The shared room was well thought out, with private curtains, and the shared bathroom was always clean and with plenty of available spaces."

Golden Tulip Ampt Van Nijkerk ★★★★
"What a nice hotel with good facilities. I slept here with a friend because it is near Royal Park Live in the gardens of Soestdijk Palace. Ideal! The superior room had good beds, a spacious bathroom, a table to have breakfast at, a mini fridge for our drinks, a TV, air conditioning and a small outdoor area. We also used the wellness area of the hotel (sauna, steam cabin and showers) and there is an indoor swimming pool. The lunch at the hotel was also very successful and we were able to park our car for free. All in all, highly recommended!"

"The hotel environment is very good, in the mountains, but the decoration is not the standard of a four-star hotel. The kettle was extremely dirty on the first day, so I changed it. The breakfast was very good"
